No, that was a great job on the video and explanation. I’m changing out the ignition switch on a 1985 Dodge Daytona for my girlfriend. But it helped because it’s very similar.
This was so simple and detailed. Thank you! Made the weekend project a little kess daunting. My 88'ram won't start and the key just freely moves forward and back without ever 'clicking' into place for idle or ignition. Hoping this is will solve the problem for my case.

Looks like the same steering wheel lock plate set up on my 1980 Aspen with the special tool i need for my repair. Very helpful info thanks!
