Nice comparison video. Definitely loved it and hope it helps prospective buyers to make a better choice between the phones.
Nice editing too.
Thank you for the feedback! Glad you liked it! 🙌
my god the production quality of the video is so damn good
great video buddy, you got a sub from me 😁
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for spreading the good vibes. :)
*NP2 in my testing couldn't even keep up Pixel 6a in camera's.* I didn't even bother to test it out with my Pixel 7 pro. I did enjoy the performance on NP2. *NP2a is much inferior.*
Never compared the older models. But unfortunately you're right. Camera isn't Nothing's strong suit. Still a lot of room for improvement in that department...
I shifted from OnePlus 12 256gB this July to Nothing 2a Blue unfortunately I did not get the white one or the special edition but no regrets from the shift.
I realised that OxygenOS virtually became Oppo and ColorOS. It also made me think of my choices going further. I also like that Carl Peid reviews other phones on the channel. Never seen any company do that giving a message out there.
Awesome to hear! It's not too common for people to ditch a major phone brand for an underdog like Nothing. It's great that it worked out for you! It would be cool to know what inspired you to make the change in the first place? You’re totally right, full transparency and openness is something you don't see often from company founders. 🙌
@@SpotlightToday Honestly I liked His Honesty, his intent whenever there would be a new update to the phone, discussing it with the team also making them market the device. For me, I would say the OS that gave me the go ahead if I am being honest.
I guess wanting a near Android experience without 2 different apps for photos is doable.
That's a great perspective. The genuine intent and a streamlined OS can make a big difference. Thanks for sharing!
Yeah the nothing phone is a better phone, the pixel 8A cost $500. The nothing phone 2A overall feels like the more expensive phone over the 8a. The camera on the 2a takes really nice shots even side by side with the 8a you'd be suprised. Better looking screen, longer battery life, faster charging, better speakers, and chipset runs cool. I think most people will be happier with the 2A overall as a phone and then on top of that its cheaper $350. I let some apple users try out my 2A they were really impressed and actually liked it.
Well summarized, that's exactly how we feel as well! 🙌
@@SpotlightToday yeah same
Should i go for the pixel 7 or 2a? My main priority is a good camera
@@TanniAditi 2A takes photogenic pictures, 7 camera might be sharper overall idk. I'd choose the 2a if given the choice. You're not just using your phone to take pictures realistically.
Remember, 2a plus is their latest not 2a
Uniqueness go with to the nothing phone but the better phone definitely is the pixel. I like to be different so I'll choose the nothing phone.
Nothing is the BOLD choice! Enjoy!
AMEI 🥰 ABRAÇO DO BRASIL 🇧🇷 😊
Thanks brother! Long live Brazil! 🇧🇷 🙌
Nothing phone symmetric bezzel is the best thing
It's a treat! 👌
The Nothing phone isn't even readily available, I've been on the "wait-list" since it dropped and still haven't been able to get one
i had no problems getting the available variants , might be a region stock issue.
True, the availability is definitely more limited compared to the Pixel 8. But hope you receive yours soon, it's worth the wait!
Are these two really far better than the Poco F6?
f6 better
@@jstnhyng ikr, how come it's not among their top midrange choices
Granted it has great specs, it's a pretty ordinary looking device. Nowadays even phones with mediocre internals are lightning fast and more than most people need in terms of processing.
However we often use phones as a symbol of our own personal style, and to capture memories. In our opinion you need to balance all these things together, and the Nothing 2a and Pixel 8a do a better job at understanding these elements.
That being said you can't go wrong with the Poco F6! It's about what matters to you as the user.
@@SpotlightToday yup
absolutely spot on
Nothing is a better deal with its price . I had a hand on both, pixel 8a is bulky , thick , large and not even bezels. I prefer nothing 2a with 330 dollars you get a lot for that money. If you’re a pixel fan get the discounted pixel 8 or wait for August pixel 9
Nothing beats real world experience.
Nothing 2a for the win!
i prefer 8a, because i like the titan m2 secure ^_^
what do u mean by the bezels not being even on the 8a?
The bottom bezel, i.e., the chin, is a bit thicker than the rest-about 1mm or so. It's not much, but it's noticeable.
8a, 2a or A55?
Help me please 🥺
We would choose both the Pixel 8a and the Nothing Phone 2a over the Galaxy A55.
Pixel 8a excels in camera quality, wireless charging, AI features, and offers a smoother software experience.
Nothing Phone 2a stands out with its sleek design, better screen experience, and faster charging speed. If you want to turn heads and stand out from the crowd, go with Nothing!
@@SpotlightToday Thank you for this! Very helpful for my decision-making. But, May I know why are you against A55? It has a decent specification. Like SD Card, e-sim, 4 years update support, better build quality, etc.
8a and A55 both cost 430 USD (8a 8+128gb/A55 8+256gb) while 2a (12+256gb) is 360 USD here right now.
@@calypso168you get way longer support on 8a, not sure abt Nothing
@@calypso168A55 is a fantastic phone. In my testing, Pixel 8a > Galaxy A55. Although I didn't test NP2a, my NP2 struggled to even keep up with Pixel 6a in cameras.
I would pick A55 over NP2a, anyday. Or, just get the S23Fe or Pixel 8a in sales tbh.
@calypso168 With the A55 vs. Pixel 8a, a big decision point is the size. If you prefer a bigger phone, go with Samsung. The benefits you mentioned, like the SD card and eSIM, are all strong points, and you’d likely be happy with it.
However, the Pixel 8a has a higher pixel density, offering a better display experience. It also tends to take better photos and has a superior selfie camera, in our opinion. While the A55 has an extra camera, the third macro lens isn't very useful in practice.
Nothing 2a stands out with its more affordable price point and unique design. You do trade off some performance and camera quality, though.
Ultimately, it comes down to what features matter most to you...
Pixel - 7 years of OS and security updates. just saying
Thanks for bringing it out! 🙌
Stealing other creators video. Nicely put together
Sorry, but the Pixel is by far the better device. Tho' it's so close to the pricing of the Pix 8, it shouldn't exist.
Spot on about the pricing! ;)
it looks so cheap and ugly with that chunky thick bezels 🤮 how is Google a billion dollar tech company able to make such ugly device
Haha. The 'retro TV' look is definitely an interesting move by Google...
I wouldn't call $125 close. I also got an extra discount for 8a so i didn't bother with regular 8 as there is not much difference.
For 8a i had to pay $480 with discount, while 8 costs $660. Totally not worth it.
It's all about perspective. At the end of the day, the importance one places on different benefits and downsides is subjective. We're glad you're happy with the choice! 🙌
