I've got both the Pixel 8 and the Nothing 2a and i definitely prefer the Nothing phone. Larger screen, better battery life, extremely smooth whereas the Pixel 8 always feels warm to the touch no matter what I'm doing, and i don't even play games. But as always which phone you prefer is a highly subjective matter.
Does the camera quality bother you? The lack of video stabilization and the jitters, as well as the camera saturation?
Im impressed with the 2a ( generally ) It produced great photos too , which in my opinion were on a par with the 8a. I like the 2a's odd appearance too as in there are a lot of thoughtful design touches
Good choice in the Nothing Phone 2a they are not afraid to do something a bit different. Found lots of cases available for this phone on Alixpress.
I want the nothing phone now👍🏽
Id like to see a comparison of these 2 vs the oneplus nord 4
@@evilazza14 I don't have the OnePlus Nord 4. This specific smartphone doesn't support all the bands that I need her in North America
@@myproject13ttt sorry, what exactly do you mean by bands? Thanks for replying though!
@@evilazza14 to work in North America (USA) you have to have certain bands to work Perfectly with 5G connectivity...
ranges of radio frequencies that cellular providers use to provide wireless communication services.
...These are crucial when making, phone calls and texting
@@myproject13ttt ah I understand, thanks for explaining!
@@evilazza14 No problem😀
I was going to bring it in, but that is why I pulled back.
Now if they do release, a global version then I might make, a move on it.
the nothing 2a doesn't come with a warranty... that's too risky for me
eh where :D:D:D:D
Stock Android is boring
I like all the different Operating systems of Android
The fact that the home screens HAVE NO ANIMATION is meh
I immediately downloaded a launcher
Can you cap the Pixel 8a so that it does not charge more than 80%? I know there is no such option on the 2a (I have one too =).

@@myproject13ttt Thx. So looking at the manual you can´t manually set it so it never charges over 80%. You have to depend on the system itself to do it, under certain conditions, but it can and will charge to 100 most of the time. No matter what setting(s) you choose. At least thats what I just read and figured from that manual. I want a setting so that it never charges over 80% no matter what circumstances. But thanks for the answer. I guess the only brands I know that can do that right now, as far as I know, are Apple and OnePlus.. =)
Anyways. Thanks for the video. (Writing on my Nothing Phone 2(a) =)
@@twebbas thank you for your question and being a part of the team. Really appreciate it 🙏
Oh this is a GOOD one
Thanks J. really appreciate that.
Coming from you. It's always, for me personally, a lift to my confidence 🙏
Do the 8a vs the 8 please
I need to know which has better battery life and if the screen on the 8a is a downgrade from the 8. That's all I want to know. Should I get either of these as an "upgrade" for my pixel 6?
I do believe the 8a has a slightly larger battery however it charges really slow not that the 8 is super fast by any means
If you can get past the bezels on the 8a then the savings are worth it
Coming from a pixel 8 owner
Also the tensor g3 is underclocked on the 8a, which seems to help with battery a tad.
