Nice video. Just got the 2a yesterday and it's a delight to use. I am coming from Nothing phone1, so many would say it'a a downgrade. However, given my average sized palms and my longer usage with the phone, it was just too heavy to the point where my palms, and thereby, my hands, would start hurting. The phone 2a is relatively lighter, which was the main reason to get it.
How's your battery life? My screen-on time (SoT) is currently 8 hours with Wi-Fi, never exceeding that. It can even drop to 4 hours when using mobile data on dual SIM. I've heard that dual SIMs can significantly impact battery life. I'm hoping the next Nothing OS update might address this, or I may just have to accept it. There's also some image retention on my display in the navigation bar and status bar, but it's hardly noticeable. Apart from that, the software is excellent, the cameras are decent, and I appreciate not being disturbed by notifications. The Essential Notification is my favorite feature so far. My friends even prefer this phone over the fancier S23 Ultra or iPhone 15 Pro, mainly because of the Glyph Interface :) Thanks for the great review btw!
I purchased Phone one - love flip to glyph too, such an important feature for me. Considered this but I like the idea of a flip phone too - quick look at the main screen and then carry on with life etc.
Would you consider getting the Nothing Ear or Ear(a) earbuds? I bought them and am very curious about the ChatGPT integration with the Nothing 2a phone, curious to hear about how useful that integtartion actually is, or if it's more of a gimmick
I've made a video about the ear a, the sound is pretty damn good. I don't really use the chatGPT integration. I think it's a bit of a gimmick. However, way better in comparison to Google assistant and Siri. I hope this helps!

It's basically the same usage as me. This phone will be great I think. However if you plan to use this phone for video especially. I would recommend to watch some video tests!

Never thought about that! In my opinion it's not really a downgrade. The phone is fast enough!

If you use a case and a tempered glass screenprotector you should be fine! The plastic housing of the phone won't crack like a glass back.
