My ‘72 had the same front vent. Sure do miss that car..
What size studs did you used
How is that a 1973 if it’s got the vent on the front valence? Thought it was 1975+ that had the vent for AC. Or am I wrong ? My 1973 super bug doesn’t have that vent
Mine is definitely a 1973 Super Beetle lol but not necessarily original. If mine's not supposed to have vents my guess is the PO could have updated in the past. Mine could also be like a 73.5 or some weird transition year/model.
@@RatchetMotors yeah that’s a good point, I may be wrong but strange how your 73 has vents and mine doesn’t, maybe mine isn’t a 73 lol
All U.S. super beetles have louvers it was for ac but non ac cars had it too. Many aprons have been switched to smooth for looks or from damage
Your set up is just right what i was looking for thank you for the video. Now. What size rear wheels and spacer thicknes do you have.
Blessings. Hope you respond.
My rears are 8.5 with et55 and I'm using a 30mm spacer. Best of luck!
8.5 needs a 1.5" min widened fender .A 7" might fit with the right ET .Also have to be careful laying down wheels with so much positive offset as they will get scratched easily. Ask how I know.
Are those coil overs in the front?
Yes I have a 73 Super so MacPherson struts in the front from factory. I purchased everything directly from Top Line Parts www.toplineparts.com/
