My first experience with Iron Tarkus was a bit different. He hit the Golem twice, then the Golem scooped him up and tried to throw him off the building... didn't quite work, but Tarkus spent the rest of the fight on the very edge of the roof doing his damnedest to not fall. I wound up having to deal with the big guy by myself while Tarkus watched. On my next character I brought a Zweihander to the fight and we demolished the Iron Golem together. It didn't even get a proper chance to attack - he staggered it, I knocked it down and we finished it off before it was able to get up. XD
The true legend of Black Iron Tarkus, as found carved into the side of a mountain by His armored Hand. On his journey through Sens Fortress, someone tried rolling a boulder onto him. Instead of being knocked down, he stopped it with his bare hands, lifted it above his head and threw it back up the staircase, breaking a hole in the wall straight to the golem. Walking up, he dropped his sword and his shield, since they were only weighing him down. The Golem swung his axe over his head, which promptly broke as it hit Tarkus's armor. Tarkus grabbed the Golem with both hands, lifted it up and threw it over the side. He picked his weapons up and wrote his sign that way, so that he would have a handicap to be fair to the Golem in other worlds. When he got to Anor Londo, the painting guardians found themselves befuddeled at his unkillability. So Tarkus grabbed one, shirked his armor, and using strength alone molded it onto the Body of a Guardian, leaving them in a corner. He then proceeded to stop Smough's hammer with one hand, simultaneously kill both Ornstein and Smough, skip to the First Flame and tear off Gwyn's dick, killing him in one shot. Then he cured his undeath, and killed Fume Knight Raime, taking his sword as a minor trophy and molding his straight sword into a new set of armor, where he became the new "Knight Slayer Tsorig".
Every Souls-like LP on that channel needs a defining moment like this and the sword guy from the start of 3. I can't quite decide what BloodBorne's would be though, it's been so long.
I still remeber watching super best friends play do this fight and chanting for tarkus it was so infectious and ill never forget this npc becuase of it

Gravity had to step in, otherwise Black Iron Tarkus would of lit the the flame and we would of had no reason to be there.
