I imagine this has a very nice driving feel to it. I’ve never driven a Mazda. But what I’ve heard about older ones and their company mantra makes me think it’s a very enjoyable brand to drive.
I wish that Mazda gave the 3 a little more love with a plug in hybrid or regular hybrid option, either with Skyactiv X. I love the 3 but I also want to save on fuel. I know their focus is almost entirely on SUVs now but the 3's still sell very well.
I own the Mazda 3 carbon edition manual transmission. It's a cute car, but unfortunately, it does not come in a turbo, or an all-wheel drive version : (
good looking car. Something that always bothered me about it is that it wants to shift much earlier than redline even when you put your foot down it looks like. Looks like torque goes down after like 5.5k?
There’s basically no torque past 5.5k RPM. I’ve tried it in mine. It seems counterintuitive, but the transmission’s logic is sound; it’s better to shift earlier.
If they didn't lease like shit I'd get a Mazda. I'm in Accord Sport MSRP $27k MSRP and I'm leasing for $197/mo. Mazda 6 was $28k MSRP and they want $425/mo. The answer was clear in the numbers.
Top end isn't going to win you races but it's more than enough to speed up from 50-75, it's quite fast. I think you'd be surprised. This car would really benefit with some more power (275HP/340lb-ft) & a proper 8-speed DCT
My Mazdaspeed 3 is 10 years old, yet it feels and sounds way more awake than this new Mazda 3 turbo. I don't understand why they try so hard to be a premium brand.
How is it not worth it in your opinion? It is one of the best value cars on the market right now. The Sedan is 30k and you get a pretty loaded compact with AWD, 250HP, and a very nice interior. Seems like a steal to me. You are basically getting an Audi A3 for 10k less.
@@jjchockey A3 is way faster than this to 60 though. i think this looks more like 215 horses and definitely not that high of torque that they claim.. power is way overstated.. or the awd just saps the lil mazda.
@@jjchockey he’s right. Motor trend got 6.4 seconds on the 2022 mazda 3 turbo The Audi got 5.4 seconds. A whole second faster. I like the Mazda interior though.

That Bronco driver at 4:34 needs to take a chill pill.

I still can’t figure out why more of these aren’t on the road, Mazda makes wonderful cars.
Well, a lot of ppl don’t like hatchbacks

@Dr. BoostFire like it?
This car has horrible rear vis.

Wow what a nice car beautiful
Nice bro. Your video is very good. I was also horrified when you drove slowly and then accelerated at the same time. I like it so much. Thank you.

This is not a high revving engine. Peak torque is around 2500RPM and peak power is around 5000RPM. If it shifted at 6000RPM it would be a waste.
Mazdas new engines are like desiel engines, all the torque is down low now
The power drops off HARD around like 5000 rpm. Lots of torque down low. I shift mine early every time.

What are u talking about? Every Suv, if u think about it, is a raised hatchback. What's there not to be a fan of. U either like to sit up high or low.

Mazda _really_ needs to completely redo their interiors. They are just too dated now.
Most reviewers give their interiors extremely high marks. The infotainment system is one thing that lags a bit behind
