2019 Mazda 6 2.5 turbo owner here. Just about to hit 60k miles. No engine issues, no issues at all actually! Very reliable car.
@@Heunreachable the Mazda 6 was available with a turbo engine in 2019. Mazda 3 got the option in 2021.

I have never seen a gas turbo engine with more than 150k. Unless you plan to change cars every few years naturally aspirated engines are the way to go.

I have a 2021 Turbo premium plus sedan and I hit 80,000 miles a few days ago. Before it I owned a 2019 NA Mazda3, and I traded up to the turbo during COVID when prices were low and I could haggle ($31,000, which was $500 under msrp). I’ve had zero issues with engine reliability (my vin doesn’t fall under the TSB, thankfully); the rear differential blew during a cross-country road trip at 36,000 miles, but that was replaced quickly under warranty, and I think it had something to do with doing donuts for ~30 mins straight in the snow lol. Even when it was blown, the car was completely drivable in 2WD, and kind of fun since it would do an extended burnout every time I floored it. It is much quicker than the NA. The best 0-60 I got in my 2019 was 7.6s, while my 2021 does 5.3s (verified with dragy).

@@jamesmedina2062 I’m probably 60/40 highway/city, and it generally converges to 26.1mpg. You can expect to get 31mpg highway and 22 city, driving normally with occasional full-throttle pulls
@@jamesmedina2062 i have a na 2.5 2020 awd mazda 3 just drove 1500 miles total last month in one trip and was going 350-390 miles before the gas light came on and i had to put in 10.2ish gallons mean 2.5 gallons remaining or 35-38mpg highway only. combined ive seen anywere from 27ish to 30 for daily use and if your really beating on it 26 its pretty amazing the milage they are getting out of a regular 6 speed auto awd system with a 191 hp 2.5
I hope to get a chance to get one before the new model comes out. I believe the exterior styling of this Mazda 3 HB will age really well and will become a classic in the future.
Price on these will be better whenever the redesign happens!

I bought my top trim 2019 Mazda 3 (Japanese made since I live in South Africa) about a year ago at ~37k miles. I'm just hitting ~50k miles now. I've had 0 issues since buying it, it's been an absolute pleasure to drive. Everything in the car feels so refined, and the interior quality feels like I'm driving a Mercedes. Best purchase I've ever made.
Mazda 3 top trim (GT) are all made in Japan to the best of my knowledge. There are plants in Japan, Mexico and US that make the GX & GS models.
Does this Mazda three get better mileage than Mazda, CX, 30 on highway and City I’m talking about the nonturbo 2.5 L naturally aspirated sedan.

We have a 2017 Mazda 3 GT with 125,000km and it has had zero issues beyond regular maintenance. My dream car is definitely a Mazda 3 ❤❤❤❤

Well said. Reliability is what I am looking for because most all new cars are great for a little while. I am currently driving a 2006 Mazda3 sedan with a manual transmission, that I purchased new some 17 years ago. It has been great and fun to drive. No mechanical issues at all. I am hoping to get a new 2023 Premium h/b with a manual transmission to replace it.
The reliability is very key to have been talked about. I have a 2009 mazda 3 with the 2.3 in it and I bought it new and it has been an awesome vehicle. Looking to go into a 2024 hatchback in the preferred trim.@@t.k.morris

I faced a few problems but some of these are just wear items, oxygen sensors, a knock sensor, a motor mount or two, fan belt and alternator I think or the compressor went together , shocks, lower control arms, outer tie rods, coolant reservoir and a few window motors (those are definitely badly designed as I had to replace them all, some of them twice)
But overall it has been a really reliable and great car for me and it’s still going strong, knock on wood!
@@dominozonda Yes indeed. I have 120+K miles, owned it since new. Mine has several window switches not functioning properly. A/C works most of the time but has never been worked on at all. It is noisy. Fixed several minor mechanical issues but all in all, it has been one of my favorite all time economy cars. I bought a new 2022 Mazda3 H/B w/ a manual transmission. It is very nice and has many new features but also smaller and not really preferred over the sedan. I wish they had a 6 speed manual in the sedan. I would have definitely bought the sedan over the hatchback!
I’m glad you discussed the AWD! Phenomenal in BC Canada. Literally drove past SUV’s that were stuck with no issues lol. The 3 will send up to 50% of available power to the rear.
I also like the dial. It’s easy to learn and I don’t even have to look at it anymore.
I really want a new Mazda 6 with AWD. I don’t like hatchback or compact sedan. I want a real sedan with real leg room and a real trunk
@@CatskillOne Ahhh yes that definitely makes sense. The 6 has so much potential too but it’s a tough market and hardly worth it for Mazda. I’m single and career focused so I’m good with the 3. If I had family I’d get the CX5.
@@CatskillOne the trunk is quite large though. I fit everything I needed to camp with 3 friends for a few days in it. Food, tent, gear, even dry firewood. Just be smart about packing it lmao.

I recently bought the 2023 Mazda CX-30 in Platinum Quartz Metallic -- the slightly bigger sibling to the Mazda 3. I really love it. It's been a very long time since I hopped in a vehicle and felt this sort of enthusiasm. Most modern vehicles in this segment (and slightly larger segments) feel more or less similar to one another in terms of quality, safety and features. The Mazda is different. It really feels premium, fun and driver-oriented. It's obviously on the smaller side (it is a subcompact, after all). However, the vehicle is, well, a joy to drive. I look forward to drives that used to feel mundane in my other vehicles. I recently returned from an April camping trip near Mt. Shasta. So, I drove the vehicle through the dirt, mud and snow. Not only did it conquer those elements, but it still felt exciting and fun.
My CX-30 replaced a larger Ford Explorer (V6). Yet, this Mazda feels like it has more zip from start to finish. It lacks the height and space (obviously); however, it is great for our little family (just my wife and me so far). It's not too small for rear passengers on relatively short drives either. Still, it's a beautiful vehicle that feels more like an extension of the driver than a mundane and less powerful Toyota, Honda, Ford, Hyundai or even Subaru.
I started out my research ready to buy a Toyota or Honda. I considered a Ford Bronco Sport and even a Hyundai Santa Cruz (until I understood some of the quality issues currently plaguing Ford and Hyundai). So, my only other consideration was Subaru. I took a good, long look at Subaru (mostly the Crosstrek and Forester). Ultimately, the CX-30 with its standard AWD, lack of CVT (woohoo), higher level of quality and greater power just made the decision easier. It really came down to the Mazda 3 Hatch or the CX-30. For the slightly better room, we went with the latter.
It still feels like an incredible value for what we paid.
Cx30 is a poor choice for anyone. Ride is uncomfortable and small. You basically bought a coupe.
@@m-cw7er I just purchased a CX-30 less than three months ago. I only made my purchase after nine months of serious research, test drives and testimonials. Since purchasing the CX-30, I've been very impressed. It's VERY comfortable (and I doubt anyone who claims otherwise unless they wear XXXL clothes). It isn't a large vehicle -- but anyone who buys one knows this from the get-go. After all, it's a vehicle in the "subcompact crossover SUV" segment.
@@m-cw7ernah man it isn’t a coupe. While the back seat space is small, it’s still serviceable especially for their target buyer, the person with no kids who needs space to travel. Put the seats down and it’s a decent hatchback. The AWD also performs well in a bunch of UA-cam test videos.
The CX30 is nowhere near as good as the 3

I’ve got a 22 turbo PP, it’s an incredible car. Absolutely love it. Coming from a 2011 r56 mini, it doesn’t handle quite as well but lacks wheel spin and turbo lag. It’s much more driveable.

I have a 2014 Mazda 3 sedan with the 2.0 engine. Still running strong like a champ with no issues.

I’ve put nearly 30k miles on my 22 hatch and this thing hasn’t let me down. I drive a LOT and it’s a mix of cross country and city driving, this car has exceeded my expectations. People who’ve ridden in it didn’t believe I only paid 23k for it brand new because of the nice interior and how preppy it feels.

Otherwise a motorbike is the only option for new under 20k. Idk what the used market is like these days as its been swinging wildly lately
Before I moved to a cold climate and needed something more workhorse-y, I had the polymetal gray with red interior manual. Felt like a premium car without a super premium price. I also enjoyed the dial so much more than my current touchscreen. Best everyday driver car since it was engaging, safe, had excellent sound, and just generally fun! At least for me those things were important.
Here in Europe mazda asks Audi money for cars with weak engines.

@Leo Sheppard I totally agree with you that it's not about driving fast on autobahn. It's about how well a car drives and real world economy. Mazdas are quite limp with low torque at high rpm, you cannot accelerate fast enough in autobahn and that put you in a dangerous situation. And with mazdas you have to constantly change gear and nurse the car in its sweet spot to get good economy. On top of all, for the Audi momey you pay for mazdas, you don't get audi build quality, audi driving dynamics and audi real world economy, and I am talking about a car that is 500kg heavier than mazda 3 & CX-30. A decent speced mazda 3 costs 35k, and you still don't get the good options and independent rear suspension. Brand new audi with great standard equipment is just 4k more than mazda. It makes no senae to pay 35k for mazda,l. I'd say yes, if mazda 3 was lets say 20k-25k, but 35k-40k? No way!
@@ampm9771 it really depends where you live. Mazda 3s are $22k in the USA. Unfair to compare the price of top and base trims of two brands. It's not economical for people to own European cars in America due to the regular dealer/specialized service they need, as they get gouged by American dealers and have to pay 2-3x more than you would in Europe.
Audi, BMW, Benz all have poor reputation for reliability in the States primarily due to the way dealer service and experience works. Americans expect to drive cars 100k-200k miles and only have to do oil changes, which is why they drive American and Japanese cars more than European.
@@ralkia Here the top trim Mazda 3 with all the bells and whistles cost 38k. On the other hand, brand new base model Audi A4 Avant costs 40k. Base model Audi A4 comes better equipped than top trim Mazda 3 and I am not even considering the fact that A4 eclipses mazda 3 in power, handling, ride quality, safety and of course practicality. I currently have an A4 with 330,000km on the clock and the only things I have to change is the oil and filter. Of course if I have to change lets say the wheel bearing, I do it myself. No matter how much I love Mazda 3, I cannot close my eyes on the fact that A4 is the only rational and correct choice. With an Audi, parts are easily available online and you can just buy and replace the part yourself. Besides, I don't have to worry about thin 0w20 oil that is twice more expensive than full-synthetic 5w30 that Audi needs. If well maintained, Audis are bulletproof. I have been to thick and thin with my A4 and it has never let me down. It makes sense in north america, but not here. Besides, I don't have to worry about crazy ideas such as cylinder deactivation that would wear my soul out every drive. Twice I have been burned by buying cars with my heart (Fiat and Alfa Romeo), I won't make the same mistake for the 3rd time.

Been the sole driver of a 2020 premium red ext/red int hatch lease and am now deciding to buy it out. Couldn’t be more excited, 3 years and no major issues, pads and rotors are starting to wear at 42kmiles but that’s to be expected for a daily driver.
This video was pretty accurate, to say the least. I’ve had no interior rattling or ac issues. Paint chip yea, but not enough to really notice. The only complaint I can say is the glossy finish around the gearbox. Does scratch easily. As well as the rims do bend easier on the 18in. I went through one on a nasty unexpected pothole.
Pretty premium car for an affordable price and it looks gorgeous too, AWD can’t beat it.

Interesting comments on the paint and brake quality issues. I really want a new Mazda 3, I formerly had a Mazda 2 and loved it 9for what it was) but the brakes were appalling (the rotors warped & needed machining after not many k's) and the paint had clear-coat chipping issues on the tailgate
2022 Sedan Signature (Turbo AWD with Polymetal exterior and red leather interior) here. So far about 11k Km and everything is great! Loving the car, also the issues regarding the oil consumption were fixed before my car was made so I don't have that issue at all

I have the Mazda 3 (2016) I’m about a little bit over 99k miles. I never had any problems, like never!!!! Until a few days ago when a shit head run into me having a red light…. Well my arms is ruined for the next months as well the left side of my car (completely) 😢… but one thing I know for sure, next week I’m getting the new Mazda 3

I have purchased my Mazda 3 in 2019 when it came out in Europe. Mine has the base engine, but alle the other upgrades. So far I had only issues with the braking sensor (sometimes going off with no reason), the door sensor noch reacting (in cold weather or rainy weather) as well as my battery dying after 4 years (yesterday). I do have minor rattle every once in a while (especially at hotter temps) and i have seen my rimms getting scratched very easaly. At the same time there was a recall in 2020 for my car where they adressed a bug in their software that had to do with the parking assistant and distance assistant. Other than that I love the car and i do not regret puchasing it. I should have gone for the 2020 version though with the better engine and the AWD.
My next car will surely be a Mazda again, if they keep the amazing exterior and interior design and the very reliable engine and all the safety feautres (best in class).
Also fuel economy is pretty good as well. I drive at about 6,8L at 100 Km, though i mostly drive in rural areas / often in traffic jams. On motorways that are relatively flat I can get down to about 5,7L at 100 Km.
I live in Chicago and I went to college in Bloomington. I used to get my Subaru serviced at Royal when I was in school. It’s great to see my college town and my hometown car reviewers collab.
Bought this mazda 3 gx sport 2021, and was the best driving experience I had. Very reliable car. This summer, I am getting the Mazda 3 gs sport AWD 2 5L 2023. Yeah, good trade in value btw.
if your thinking of buying these cars please read this, i have owned a mazda, biggest problem with Mazda is the paint they are very thin and not durable thats why they rust quickly even newer models rust quicker than an old cars, i know that and learned that and they use very soft paint that is really thin and not durable compared to other cars like Toyota or Honda, honda have problems with the clearcoat peeling, but thats not a big problem just put another clearcoat on and your good. mazda is also know to use weak gasket which leads to leaking oil from very annoying places like timing cover gasket. engine and transmission are mechanically great and much better quality than honda cvt with the turbo which is a timed bomb. i hope this helped

I love the infotainment controls. Finger prints on touch screens drive me crazy.
The cylinder deactivation vibration was immediately noticeable and continually annoying if I don't try to ignore it. I Googled the issue after only about 200 miles of driving thinking my car had a defect, only to find out it's just what it is. Haven't tried to get it "fixed" since it seems to be a quirk that Mazda says is normal.

2015 Mazda 6 owner, 72k miles NO ISSUES AT ALL since purchasing the car almost 9 yrs ago
I bought a 2023 premium trim in black on 10-25-22 and it now has 14,022 miles. My chief complaints are the super scratch prone black gloss interior surfaces, for the price theres an unreasonable amount of interior rattling that seems to be very temperature sensitive. Like you can turn your front defroster on full blast in the cold and after a few minutes the rattling will stop. Plastic expanding/contracting. Also rattling in the HUD module most often, as though the little door that closes isnt very secure.
Overall though, i love this car. Minor annoyances that could be improved upon, but a car with these kinds of features and this attractive of an interior/exterior design for the price must has have a catch, in my opinion. Ill take some slight rattling thatll be absolutely drowned out by a fantastic bose sound system lol.

I bought a mazda 3 sport gt 2020 2 weeks back and the steering wheel is stiff compared to other cars that i have driven.
I prefer manual transmission than AWD so I picked up 2021 6MT same color as yours on December 2020, no regret at all. I don’t really care much about scratch at this point.

2022 Mazda3 GT AWD (in the US it's called Premium package) 2.5 NA. I took delivery in Feb 2022, got the airbag light issue, it was a lot of back and forth with the dealer before I got a service advisor who knew about the service bulletin.
But I've got this other problem with the rear center seatbelt sensor, it constantly chimes when somebody sits in the right rear seat.
You know, one of my favorite things about this car is the lack of touchscreen because I struggle too hard with touchscreens in a moving vehicle, the joystick knob is pleasing to use and let's me complete functions based on muscle memory instead of taking my eyes off the road. I wish I got the stick shift as that's what I rest drove before ordering. Found out an AWD had been ordered and the customer changed their mind and got a cx5 instead so I claimed it. It was still in dock in Hiroshima and I only had to wait 3 months instead of 6.
Common issue he forgot to mention, the gauge cluster get scratched easily. I was aware of this issue from the beginning and been using only soft microfiber towels. I can see multiple scratches when the sun glare on it! My battery (2021) will also need a replacement soon. No major issues, just annoyances.
There was a review that I saw (can't remember where...) but they discouraged use of microfiber for those plastics. You're supposed to use cloth for cleaning glasses (felt-y type?).

I have a 2019 Preferred NA FWD Hatch and I do have cylinder deactivation vibrations at highway speeds (more noticeable when using radar cruise control). I’ve also had screen rattles but they replaced the entire screen under warranty and it’s been good since. 45k and going strong!

I have a 2023 mazda 3 s premium and it's very upscale and well made.
@63arizona1 I'd say it's one of the best affordable sedans out right now. It's not cheap but I wouldn't say it's super expensive. In the middle, really. But, this thing can definitely last 200k miles easy. So it's worth it

Love the 2.5 sky active and manual transmission. Have a 2017 Mazda6 touring with almost 100k. Has been bullet proof and loads of fun. The engine really has the perfect blend of HP and torque throughout the RPM range. The handling is quality. My only mod (other than a few cosmetic items) was for slotted brakes which have made a definite difference for the good on the braking. Can't say enough about the normally aspirated 2.5 or the manual. They are perfect together.

Many of the common issues you list were from early 2019 production runs. The rear view mirror falling off was from early Mexico built cars. The AC issue was a 2019 issue that I believe was primarily the ones without a sunroof where it was overheating to compensate for a sunroof that was not there.
We have a 2021 CX-5 and love it. Complaints are the sensitivity of the adaptive cruise (brakes way too hard when it detects a car in front) and the excessive number of steps needed to navigate the infotainment system. Can confirm the annoying piano black glossy interior and the paint issues. None of that makes this not a great vehicle. It’s our third Mazda (2012 3, 2014 6).

I have a 23 premium plus hatch. Can’t speak much to longevity of the turbo since I only have 2600 miles so far, but I will say the car is super fun to drive and elegant inside and out. I have noticed some minor clicks and creeks in the cabin, specifically the glove box as mentioned in the video. One major complaint I have is the sidewall of the seats. Literally had terrible creasing in mine since sub 500 miles, and I’m meticulous about getting in and out of it as to not put too much pressure on the side of the seat. Never heard abt the paint chipping issues, had mine ceramic coated professionally right after I bought it anyways so guess I’m very glad I did that.
Did you get a professionally done at the dealer or somewhere else?
I loved driving my cousin’s 2020 manual Mazda 3 and I agree the dial es fantastic. In Colombia we got the smallest, cheapest engines but I still think it is fantastic. Now I am in Argentina and sadly Mazda left the country years ago.
Yeah it really fits the, "it's more fun to go fast in a slow car than go slow in a fast car" - and the handling on the 3 makes it so you can keep more of your speed around corners
Currently leasing a 2020 base and i was initially really happy with it. Now at 40,000 miles. In the first two years I've had to replace both visors, middle arm rest cause it tore , and the silver foil on the window switches flaked off ! Very disappointing! The transmission is a little jerky as well and my front sway bar links are cluncking ! The sway bar links are an issue i have had on all of my mazda 3s , but i was hoping with the higher price that mazda improved them. Also just had a vehicle system malfunction light come on the other day 😢.Not sure I'll be keeping it !
I've done just shy of 80k on my 2020 3 Sport GT (manual, Black/w red interior, all of which I'm in love with) and I've had basically no issues outside of bit of a graphical glitch (thin lines) developing on my tach, I'm in love with it still. I do wish I was able to have the AWD but I adore the gearbox on this one, it shifts like butter. Also very anti touch screen so I was stoked that its the knob. No AC issues but I am really sad that the paint chips like it does, especially with the black finish.
the lines in the display is a common issue, and is covered under warranty

very good video. i will be starting to get into the market of finding the soul red awd mazda3 and the paint info was definitely a concern of mine and will start to also consider ppf for the front end of the car to maintain that beautiful colour.
Fantastic cars. My gf has the 3 Sedan in Soul Red Crystal. I can recommend two things: 1. A cheap aluminium panel set from china which cover all piano black parts in the interior and 2. A ceramic coat of the paint. I wash it by hand - no swirls or scratches.
She has the white leather interior which surprisingly has held up really well so far.

I love my 22 turbo 3. I also love Mazda implementation of AWD in the snow, you can definitely make it act like a RWD bias vehicle. I’ve driven Chevy AWD systems and they suck, activating too late/ not kicked in when you need it. With Mazda it’s always already engaged anytime I need it.
Even on the '13 3 with front wheel drive, the stability control does pretty good. I don't feel like I need anything more in Wisconsin winters as long as I don't just straight up get it stuck due to the low clearance. It does just fine on a reasonable snowy highway.
What is the gas mileage you get with the awd?
i love the dial too, it allows you to have an easy use UI/UX interface button that allows you to easily still focus on the road

2015 mzda hach.I'm almost at 280000 miles. And I've never done the carbon clean out. I do Red line it quite a bit because I got the 2.0 stick shift. Pretty slow if you don't rev it out. It's a great car. Minus my AC just stopped working. Good seeing video showing love from Mazda.
The manual makes no mention of needing to carbon clean. So probably not needed but doesnt hurt either
Reliability can only result from high quality components, engineering and construction. That's why it's by FAR the most important thing for me.
I bought a Mazda 3 2.0L skyactive back in 2017. It had 5km on it and now has 218,000km. All I’ve done to it is change my oil religiously, brakes front and back. That’s it! Recently I encountered an issue with the torque mount and it wasn’t that bad. Getting it replaced next weekend though..

A bit late commenting on this video but only just found your channel here in the UK Just bought a 2022 Mazda 3 so was interested in Zach's opinion on his Mazda. Here in the UK we only get the choice of 2 engines a Skyactive G with 122 bhp and a new e Skyactive X with 186 bhp and 240 nm's of touque which I have, we don't get a turbo version here. I am loving this car so smooth and coming from a turbo car don't notice much difference in acceleration.You get so many safety features and other extras as standard on this car that German makes charge for and the interior quality is amazing, glad I chose a Mazda, Cheers guys.
Happy to say I've not had any issues on my '19 3 Skyactiv-X at 43k miles (UK)

2019 Mazda 3 premium sedan owner here. Once all the recalls and Technical service bulletins (including for AC and cylinder deactivation) car is running fine. Put tinted glass on the car, so along with TSB, AC works great. It happens rarely, but emergency break light comes on. Cylinder deactivation has led to 37 mpg, mainly highway driving. No real complaints, and my previous cars with Civics (where the AC compressor conks out).

have a premium mazda3 used 38,000 miles. I chose 2wd n.a. and it's been awesome. I also bought a 21 cx9 for my hen and zero problems.
The fuel system service does not remove carbon build up off of the valves. Save up all the money you would have spent on those and have the valves cleaned every 90k miles.
Not entirely true. The sky active system heats up the valves enough so that carbon residue is not a major problem with this engine.
I never owned a car with today’s technology until I bought my first Mazda.. so the infotainment dial is the only thing I’ve ever known as far as modern technology and I love it.
Would regard to rear seat spacing it's a compact Hatch, emphasis on compact so people can't really expect a huge amount of space. I have a 2019 Nissan X-Trail and a 2020 Mazda 3, I have 3 kids so when we need the space I use the x trail when we travel shorter distances i the use the Mazda 3 . Simple as that

I’ve got a 2023 GT (Canadian market) that has an annoying rattle from day one on the passenger side that the dealer couldn’t locate, as well as the airbag issue on the rear seats that they also didn’t know how to fix, so I’ve sent this video to them for reference and hopefully in next week’s service, they’ll know more about these issues and possible solutions thanks to you guys! I had a great sales experience (no dealer markup, no haggling and friendly service), but actually a terrible service experience there; when I took it in to try to resolve those two issues, not only could they not find the causes but they scratched my 1-month old car. I don’t think they’re very careful with customers’ cars so maybe keep this in mind if you decide to go there. I’m still trying to get that paint scratch resolved…and they seem willing to try to deal with it, but I told them if that meant going through the clear coat to get rid of the scratch, then I’ll just live with it and go to another dealership from now on for servicing. The last thing I want is for them remove the original clear coat and paint and then repaint the entire rear quarter panel (which they offered to do initially)…it’ll always bother me if they did that. I left a Google review on this if you want more info.
Has fuel consumption remained consistent, has it decreased @ all? Ever run a borescope into the intake to see if there’s carbon buildup? I know you said you do the fuel service but it would make for good content. All GDI’s some some kind of carbon issue but haven’t seen many issues on the Mazda NA 2.5L engine. As potential buy trying to find any info I can.
Great long term review - I have a 2019 Mazda 6 turbo - 57,000 miles. No issues… but agree with the ‘weak’ HVAC, and had to replace the breaks a little soon as well. Overall amazing cars

I have a2015 Mazda 3 ... and about the only thing I have replaced is my rear brakes. They tend to rust and seize up which wears them out prematurely.

@@jamesmedina2062 With the skyactiv auto transmission, you have enough control to engine brake and avoid most brake wear. I'm at 200K miles with original brakes in mine.

I never really thought about it but yea, my 2015 Mazda 3 paint is not great. The front bumper pretty much has no clear coat from sand blasting on the high way. and a ton of chips, particularly around the rear doors in front of the rear wheel area.
I am not too upset about it as I have had no mechanical failures and plan to run this car as long as it will, up to 130k now.

One thing I got to verify about the "non touch screen" in the 2023/2024 models, when you are in apple car play or android you can use the touch features, even on the 8 inch base version.
Still, the dial is great.

I've got a 2019 cx-5 and have had that glove box rattle on and off for a while now. My dealer said they didn't know anything about it as a common thing, but I'll have to take a look and see if I can find that bracket you mentioned
