Who was tired of the Honda Stuff, That's why I'm watching Dude. How about doing a 90's 750 Nighthawk. Or maybe a 83 1100F 0r 900f there is so much Honda stuff out there to do. Try doing a 1967 CL 305 scrambler into a Flat Tracker, I raced mine back in the 60's. love to see another one.
Mid 70’s I took one of these and modified, due to they were slow. Bored, Weber side drafts, change the gears in transmission and clutch and changed the rear gear setting, with 4 into 1 open pipes. Changed the front forks and rear shock, with oil tanks. High speed tires. My wife had a hard time keeping up with me in my Alfa Romeo. Fun to ride.
Yes, I agree too, I love how he abbreviated and tucked the rear guard/ fender rather than removing. It’s a nice hint or accent of where the bike came from.
Wow, I love the style of this bike, well done. I've got a 1980 CB650 Which I hope to build into something like this one day. right now its got all the mods from the previous owner, some which I like, others I don't. He looked after it very well and kept all the service records right from when it was imported into my country so there's no problem using it every day. I notice I've got the some gauges as you too!
Very nice bike. Great tank color. I have a stock '75 Cb550k and love the bike. I get lots of ideas watching your vintage Honda builds, and also never get tired of them. Cheers, Stay safe.🏍👍🇨🇦
I just found your channel. You restore motorcycles and make them amazing again. Follow your passion, not what the nit-pickers want. Apparently, the older Hondas can be restored readily and I'd gladly watch you tear down and rebuild them over and over. Hell, in the back of my mind, I WANT a classic Honda that I could go day tripping with when New England weather allows for it.
Honestly, I'm into triumphs, British bikes like BSAs, and Harleys. However, my first bikes were Honda CBs and Kawasaki KZs. Your style made me remember how much I loved those bikes.
Classic CB content never gets old for me. I wish you did more 750's honestly. But I would hate for it to get stale for you and you bail on UA-cam. We need you man.
Taylor the main draw to your channel for me is the classic Honda builds that you do. I ride classic Hondas and don't care about the other brands IMO. Good video btw. :)
Never too many Classic Honda‘s. You have restore a lot of bikes. This is by far your best work and my favorite. Wish you had some video of making it. Hopefully one day soon I can get you to make one for me. Maybe once the world is back to normal. Keep up the great content. I subscribed to your channel cause I love the work you do, best on UA-cam. Again, never too much Honda Classic! Be safe, Cheers from Canada!
Thats a beautiful blue on a great looking bike.... I’m excited to hear you’ve got some different material coming and I am looking forward to seeing what you do with the builds.
Have been a fan of the CB550 from new. Really like how you really clean up all of the buttons and electronics. I can watch Honda stuff all the time. Really a big fan of how the vapor blasting make stuff that is almost 50 years old look brand new. Been watching for about a year now. Can’t wait for the new builds and how you put your spin on them.
Nice build! And thanks for the info on jetting. I juat picked up a '76 CB550K that someone got a start on to cafe it. Lot's of goodies, dynatek ignition, same header you have, decent paint, sidecovers in good shape. But I think I like the scrambler version and will go that way. Also I think the front fender brace is important on these old bikes, keeps the front end from getting all noodly when carving two lane roads.
I'll never get sick of classic honda content! I just subbed tonight and have been binge watching for hours now lol came across the channel because I have an opportunity to buy a 77 cb550 for 300 bucks that needs a little work. Thinking about doing it 🤷
Beatiful build! Imo it looks the perfect balance between stock and café racer. That rear fender visualy ties the back to the front and the color is just perfect! 10/10
Never get tired of the old school Hondas man. BUT........when are you gonna do a NEWER model 750. When I say newer.....I mean '93 cb750. I have one that I 'd love to have you go through!!!!
Nice ride! I really like it. I don't get sick of vintage Honda's either. But I am looking forward to your new videos. You do a great job. It doesn't matter what the make is. Watching you sort things out is always very interesting. Keep up the good work!
great looking bike! lucky baster who gets this bike. keep going with the classic content brother! I understand you might need to adapted but don't change your content too much.
Have you ever tried to make a large storage box in the empty space? Just curious what it would look like & how practical it might be. If not maybe a cool project for a future episode.
I have a cb550 that I hopefully will be replicating something like you have, I usually work on xs650's so changing it up a bit like you, keeping it fresh. Just finished a gs550, had a nightmare setting up the carb's. So will be selling that in the spring here in Wales UK to fund the cb550.
A superb bike! I appreciate both the original look and the custom cafe racer, but only when Taylor does the latter. The sound is really nice. I’d be interested in seeing u do a cafe racer convert to a modern Triumph Bonneville, I know they do the Thruxton, but what u do will be unique.
It's cool that you've been able to find a niche market for these Brat / Cafe Racer / Tracker builds... Around here, people want to BUILD these kinds of bikes, but no one wants to BUY them... People only want to buy "original" Honda CB's in stock condition. Otherwise, they're buying much newer bikes. Weird how different geographical areas have their own individual markets.
I too love the classic Honda content, but a BMW R series would be cool. Seems to be a number affordable R series and R1100's out there. It'd be cool to retain an ABS system on one of them and any other different BMW features.
Nice job as always! I watch your channel for the vintage style bikes as I have a few of my own, all from the 60's and 70's but I've had plenty of 80's bikes too. I know your looking for a change, how about a slow chronological progression ? There were a lot of goofy 80's bikes, but a lot of cool ones too, GS700, KZ700, GPZ's, XS650's, Nighthawks, Seca's, ETC. Just a thought. Keep up the good work on the bikes and on the quality video production as well. Thank you!
To me, this is what a motorcycle should look like. The modern bikes, even some '"retro" look too much like transformers. The only things that I would consider to do differently is a partially blacked out motor and painted fenders. Still, excellent as is!
I too , never get tired of classic Honda’s. I’m looking forward to seeing what you’ve got up your sleeve this year. Oh btw...how is the lathe coming along??
Looks great! For the record... I would never get sick of classic Honda content. : )
^^what they said^^
i was gonna write the same thing
Exactly it's why I come to this channel lol
Same lol 😂
for the record.. the rest of us will
That's one of the coolest 550s I've ever seen. No joke. The color and chopped chrome fenders as well as wrap are spot on.
You nailed it ! 🎯💯
That is absolutely perfect! Color, sound and all.
Dude, every time I watch the CB550 I learn something new. So, I would never get sick of Classic Hondas.
You should turn a modern crotch rocket into a cafe racer, that would be a really interesting series to watch!
That would be awesome. Or a late model sportbike drivetrain installed into a classic cafe racer-style chassis.
@@Cygnus307 sounds like a TON of fab work lol
Mid 70’s I took one of these and modified, due to they were slow. Bored, Weber side drafts, change the gears in transmission and clutch and changed the rear gear setting, with 4 into 1 open pipes. Changed the front forks and rear shock, with oil tanks. High speed tires. My wife had a hard time keeping up with me in my Alfa Romeo. Fun to ride.
Blue bomber is the bomb! That is the perf. Restoration ! Honda’s never get old, they just get better! ☺️👍🗽🇺🇸
That's the best looking CB you've done to date. Well thought-out and executed. It does sound awesome.
I agree. This one is the superest !
Yes, I agree too, I love how he abbreviated and tucked the rear guard/ fender rather than removing. It’s a nice hint or accent of where the bike came from.

Will neverrrr get sick of classic honda no matter the style! Love it

never got bored by classic honda
This is so beautiful! I really like the style of the fenders on this one!
Love the classic honda content. You could always try a early goldwing or shadow 750 build since they are cheap and easy to find.
Right? I saw a few here in Florida for around 800
I never get sick of the Honda videos
Never too many Classic Honda‘s. You have restore a lot of bikes. This is by far your best work and my favorite. Wish you had some video of making it. Thats a beautiful blue on a great looking bike.... I’m excited to hear you’ve got some different material coming and I am looking forward to seeing what you do with the builds.
Love the simplicity of the look of the bike. I realy like the finders.
That is the most beautiful bike I've ever seen.
I'm doing a 72' Suzuki T500 with little experience. You should pioneer the way for me! Lol. Love your bikes and your channel, man. Keep it up!
Beautiful bike. I have a CB400/4 almost complete (to stock style) and ready to run, your videos keep me going!
Nice build! And thanks for the info on jetting. I juat picked up a '76 CB550K that someone got a start on to cafe it. Gorgeous bike. Super unique yet understated. You nailed it!
Looks great we never tire of any of your classic Honda,s or all bikes for that matter.👍
I'll never get sick of classic honda content! I just subbed tonight and have been binge watching for hours now lol came across the channel because I have an opportunity to buy a 77 cb550 for 300 bucks that needs a little work. Thinking about doing it 🤷

Your best one yet
Looks and sounds phenomenal my dude! Couldn't get sick of seeing classic honda content either- especially when done so well!
Never get tired of the old school Hondas man. BUT........when are you gonna do a NEWER model 750. When I say newer.....I mean '93 cb750. I have one that I 'd love to have you go through!!!!
One of my favorites of your builds
Hope you and your fam are safe and warm, our apologies from Canada 🇨🇦
Great job on the 550, and great channel!! Thank you!!!
Wow this bike has my heart racing. When I get my project cb I will come find you.
I dig the chopped rear fender!
This is a beauty and exactly what I'm planning for my rear fender setup. Well done! Love the channel.
great video man, excited to see the new bikes, but never tired of the hondas tbh
Gotta say, this one may be my favorite of the ones I’ve seen from you. Nailed it! Ford Denim Blue? Who knew it would look so awesome?
Nice and clean. Who could get tired of Honda’s?
I've been like waiting to see you ride around town. one day I will get to see your builds lol
My favorite bike you have done to date...thumbs up.
Hi! from Australia ,hope you are well after the terrible time in Texas, be well regards Robert
Classic Honda’s ROCK!!!
This is kinda exactly what I want to do with my CB550 from '77!
That bike is amazing 🤩
I'd love to see the invoice and breakdown of costs on this bike. It's almost exactly what I want. Send it to me if you can please.
Thank you so much for taking the time to link your parts 🙏🏼
Really luv ur work. Never get tired of watching !! Bike is awesome classic look. luv that chrome also.
Beautiful. I miss my 550.

Omg ! That thing is SWEET !! Perfection in my eyes ... I want one ☝️
Nice ride! I really like it. I don't get sick of vintage Honda's either. But I am looking forward to your new videos. You do a great job. It doesn't matter what the make is. Watching you sort things out is always very interesting. Keep up the good work!
Collest classic bike projet so far 👌
great looking bike! lucky baster who gets this bike. keep going with the classic content brother! I understand you might need to adapted but don't change your content too much.

Congrats to the new owner, talk about a xmas morning state of excitement. Enjoy Dude👍👏🏆

Sweet ol`Honda
Amazing looking bike! ❤️🔥
Absolutely gorgeous build
Absolutely stunning.
Thanks, I owned the CB550 and love that bike
I wish this guy would go through my 73 cb750!
waiting for another build series!🙏🏾
Brilliant build Taylor, and it sounds fantastic ......👌👍
That’s one good looking bike 👍
While I love what you do with the 500/550 fours, I'm looking forward to your creative talents on other vintage bikes.
Agreed.
Beautiful ride,nice job
A superb bike! I appreciate both the original look and the custom cafe racer, but only when Taylor does the latter. The sound is really nice.
I’d be interested in seeing u do a cafe racer convert to a modern Triumph Bonneville, I know they do the Thruxton, but what u do will be unique.
Nice job Taylor
That blue is primo
Looks absolutely amazing!👌
Beautiful build love it. Sounds great.

Nice Squareback across the street :)

I wish I could have this one😭😭😭 I really love classic bike

I wiuld like to see you do an old BMW airhead. Haven't seen many people on youtube go very in depth with the builds of them.
To me, this is what a motorcycle should look like. The modern bikes, even some '"retro" look too much like transformers. The only things that I would consider to do differently is a partially blacked out motor and painted fenders. Still, excellent as is!
Gosh what a beautiful bike.
Nice bike and the color is great..
Wow, very nice work. love it
Hi, great bike! Could you share the link where to buy the paint? Thanks!
Vert nice , clean lines great colour 👍
man u should build yourself a cafe triple two stroke, a suzie maybe or even a mach 2
I wish I could get my hands on one Love the content
Edit: I finally got one 75 cb750k
Save some of the Honda cb projects in the Austin area for everyone else! Been trying to find one for awhile!
I too , never get tired of classic Honda’s. I’m looking forward to seeing what you’ve got up your sleeve this year. Oh btw...how is the lathe coming along??
Looks better with small back mudguard, matches front guard, balanced.
Should do a CX500 build next 😎
I want you to build me one just like that! Looks great man.
Looks and sounds fantastic....
What’s the cost of a build like this?
Sweet ride!
