I really like that 750. Brings back memories of the very first CB750 I rode that belonged to my friend's older brother. He was away in college so we disconnected the speedo and took it for a ride!
I had a friend that took his buddies Harley for a spin without asking and wrecked it into a curb right in front of this house I was at trying to show off. He didn’t know how to work the clutch good! But the owner came to pick it up after and kicked it over in front of all of us while he was loading it up. 😂 his girl had to talk him out of leaving it in the damn road. Man it was a very uncomfortable situation for all of us! Lol poor guy was still paying on the damn thing and his friend ruined it like a dumbo! I remember the phone call when he was telling the guy. Man, that sucked!
I'm not usually a fan of Cafe style bikes but I must admit that these are pretty sweet. You do good work. I love the sound of the 750. I still love the looks of the old school early and mid 70s CBs.
Beautiful work as always. The 500 with the Norton looking decals is most attractive to me personally. I think if it were mine I would prefer the fender painted to match the tank and the headlight dropped down so that the top of the housing lined up with the top of the tank.
I wanted a 550, mainly cause of this channel. But ended up with a 750 3 years ago. Now after building mine, and ride I prefer the cb750. I've seen external oil reservoirs like cognito moto's that change its location so you don't need side cover. I think I prefer side cover. But power from 750 makes it better I think
The 750 is my preference all day long, but the only thing I would change on that bike is the headlight mounting ears need to be shorter and the headlight needs to be tucked in and mounted lower, but everything else looks great! And the sound that 750 makes versus the 500 is hands-down way more throaty and deeper sounding, the CB750 is in my blood! I love that bike! I own three of them now!
I like the 750 personally. The colour is great. It reminds me of the early Goldwing I had in candy apple turquoise. Looking forward to the new developments in 2021..... All the best for the new year. Dave from Scotland.
Digging your channel man, I just moved to Ireland from London and had to sell my project bike but have a new bike on the way a 81 Kwak 550 Ltd, can't wait to get stuck in to it.might have to get my hands on a cb550 shortly 😉👍
Hey Taylor. Love the builds, since forever ;) But, if I had something to say, In my opinion, i believe the headlights are too high, id put them not higher than the gas tank Lots of great wishes for you and the family, happy happy new year to come
Happy New Year! Regarding the sound, I prefer de CB500, but I love de CB750. I used to own a CB750 K1, that I purchase new, when I was racing for Honda here in Colombia, we're talking many years ago, racing with the CB125 Super Sport and CB175. Thanks for your videos. Be safe and enjoy life. By the way, I also had a Motorcycle Shop.
Love the style of your builds, but do have to ask why you tend to put knobby tires on a street bike? Also would you share what a complete build like these costs?
You do really nice work ! I’m interested in obtaining a bike like the one you did a couple days ago ( CB550 with the bobbed fenders and the pre 76’ fuel tank in the ford blue jean blue ) I fell in love with that bike ! Just love these old school classic Honda’s ...the scrambler look
Love both builds Taylor! If you ever feel compelled to give a later model 750 a go (1993)......PLEASE let me know!!!!! I've been dying to get someone to go through it!!!!
I recently sold my cb550F after rebuilding it. Nothing in the way of quality as you but made a little profit. I rebuilt the forks. Had to buy some used ones that the chrome tube was in better shape then redo what i had. Rust made the seal leak. I miss it now. I want a 750 and wish i could get one you have built. I currently still have and ride my first bike which is a 2002 Shadow Spirit VT750 but I would trade it for o e of your cafe style builds. Im down in San Antonio and would love to just hang out and work on bikes all day. Instead I fix computers and ride every chance I get. I looked for forks for a 550F and i think i did find some new aftermarkets for sale but the price was astronomical and outside the US so i didn't trust it. If i find them again ill see about posting it.
I like everything on the 750 except I would have painted the forks black with black fork dust boots, painted the cylinder head black, and used a black header wrap. I know the trend is fenderless or cut down fenders, but I think a bike like that would be nice with custom full fenders front and rear (attached to the swing arm), painted black or color matched.
Love your content man. I'm currently in the process of rebuilding my first cb550 completely and your channel has been a huge help in many parts of my build, thank you!
I am torn on these two. The looks of the 750 but the sound and lightness of the 500. Either would fit easily in my garage as the car would stay outside in the weather!
Hi Taylor, they are beautiful bikes to be sure man, I personally love the 750, it would be my first choice, and like you said, it’s got lots more power to play with. Nice video man. Happy new year to you and your family. 😎👍👍👍🇬🇧
I love the 500, I own a 1970 K0 project bike, although it will be "better" than the 500 in the video. I have a 605cc kit for it, including the pistons, rings and even sleaves. I also have a 650 front end, enabling a twin disc system. The front wheel has an alloy rim as well. I have a 750 k1 and a 500 k1 tank for it and several seat options. The only things still missing are the exhaust system and some modern electrics, but these will be sourced in 2021.
Nice job on both for me the 750 like tom below I like the side panels , the tires on it would be a concern for me but it's nice all the same . The 550 is good to , but the big open void where the panels would be kinda puts me off a bit the pipe is awesome . : ) Cheers
Both bikes are very well done and awesome. I prefer the scrambler style over the Cafe so would go with the 750, but the 500 almost has me on sound alone. Can't really go wrong with a Honda of that time frame.
Great job on those, although I'd use better shocks. I'm pretty sure CB550 and CB750 fork tubes are the same, at least the same diameter (35mm). I know the sliders are the same, and the brake calipers fit both, although the 750 caliper and disk are slightly larger.
That 500 is beautiful. I love the Honda "Norton" style decal!
Nice to see the influence of British machines had on these bikes.
It's available on etsy

750 gets the thumbs up from me. Like the bikes color and the classic side covers. Baritone sounds rocks and Ilke the unpainted engine. Nice work!
Thanks Tom
Everytime I watch your videos it makes me want to go out and ride my 750
I really like that 750. Brings back memories of the very first CB750 I rode that belonged to my friend's older brother. He was away in college so we disconnected the speedo and took it for a ride!

I’d pick the 500. Just my personal choice.
Cb400 for the sound
Realy cool bikes, i wish someone like this would exist in my country.
Love that 750! She’s beautiful. I have a ‘80 and I love her. I will never get rid of her.
You scared me sir, thought you were going to quit rebuilding for good. Don't ever stop rebuilding these beauties
Those bikes are perfect, the owners are really going to enjoy them. You SIR are a world class tuner in addition to your artistic skills👍👏🇯🇵
Need more UA-cam content from you Taylor
I'm not usually a fan of Cafe style bikes but I must admit that these are pretty sweet. You do good work. I love the sound of the 750. I still love the looks of the old school early and mid 70s CBs.

Thanks for the video! Im literally addicted to your channel. Love everything about it.
I like both, but the 750 sounds amazing! Great work!
just ordered a tuffside seat because of this vid - hoping my 750 comes out half as nice...thanks for all the advice - very helpful
Love your CB 500/550 builds. I bought a new CB 550 off the showroom floor in 1975. Wish I had another.
Both gorgeous bikes Taylor. I wish you were in the UK!
73’ CB500 was the most fun bike I’ve owned
i hade a ton of those in the early 80 s
The 750 is my preference all day long, but the only thing I would change on that bike is the headlight mounting ears need to be shorter and the headlight needs to be tucked in and mounted lower, but everything else looks great! Honda are just some cool machines when they are modified to the cafe style and yours is no exception - really nice work
750 all the way.
I like the 750 personally. The colour is great. It reminds me of the early Goldwing I had in candy apple turquoise.
Looking forward to the new developments in 2021..... All the best for the new year.

Definately the 500. I used to ride my 500 from Tahoe city to TJ for a beer and back the same day!
From 9:28 to 9.32 i repeated more 20times,, listened it on my home theatre,,
Love the sound of both
Beautiful A+ job...congrats Taylor.
Once again, awesome work my friend. That 500 is amazing. That sound is perfect!
Love the 500, that's like what I want
Beautiful bikes !! Im about to order a Tuffside seat as well, they look very well made !
Great job on both bikes. I would ride both of them no problem.
Those are perfectly modified! 👍🗽🇺🇸
I have a 750 and tbh I’d rather have a clean 500. The 750 is a lot bigger in person than I imagined in pics. Honda makes such a nice bike tho!
The 500 is fire.
Hey Taylor. Love the builds, since forever ;)
But, if I had something to say, In my opinion, i believe the headlights are too high, id put them not higher than the gas tank
Lots of great wishes for you and the family, happy happy new year to come
great show-Just bought today Honda CJ250T for rebuild to cafe racer. Thanks for tips. Chris in UK
The 500 made me catch my breath just a little bit, but the 750 is the ride to keep. Man am I glad I sub'd your channel :)
Like the vibe of the 750 ! 👍 Thanks ! ✌️
I love it...I really want that bike.
Beautiful work you are a perfectionist
Great job on both bikes man! I realy like the 750.
That 750 is sick! Nice build. I want one😁
Two great bike builds Taylor. Excellent work again. Cheers.
Both bikes look great however i do like the oil tank covers on the 750 it gives it more color and style.
Those are beautiful bikes, well done Taylor.
Bloody awesome work, Sir!
You sir are the master, both bikes are great
Again great work brother really appreciate your educational videos throughout the year looking forward to more happy new year
The 750 is stunning, great job mate 👍
Man that blacked out 500 looks awesome but I gotta give it to the Jade 750! It looks way more classy and those handlebars are perfect!
I think the side covers are essential on all bikes they just look incomplete without side covers to me. Thanks 🙏
Two beauties. Great job on both. I have a Cb550k '75, and am looking for ideas. Love the 70's Hondas. 👍😀🇨🇦
Great Builds! You should be proud of your work !
Happy New Year! Regarding the sound, I prefer de CB500, but I love de CB750. Beautiful work
I just bought a 73 cb500 4 project. I would love to speak with you about everything. I got it so I could learn about it all.
i love the 750
Both bikes are fantastic. Used to be a fork shop called Forks by Frank. Might still be out there .
It's still around but they call it Frank's Forks now. On he web it is franksforks.com,
your builds are always top notch! Hopefully my CB650 will turn out somewhere near this quality when I'm finished with it!
You do really nice work ! I’m interested in obtaining a bike like the one you did a couple days ago ( CB550 with the bobbed fenders and the pre 76’ fuel tank in the ford blue jean blue ) I fell in love with that bike ! Just love these old school classic Honda’s ...the scrambler look
i am glad i do not have to chose , ok the 750. Great video ,
both bikes are beautiful builds i can not chose !
Love 'em both, but the 750 takes the biscuit for me. Great work, Taylor.
2021 sounds great! I would go with the 500, looks and sounds absolutely cool! Really nice work per usual. Thanks much for the video!
two great builds, thanks for sharing them. will you be doing carb rebuild restos soon??
750 all the way, great work !
Love both builds Taylor! If you ever feel compelled to give a later model 750 a go (1993)......PLEASE let me know!!!!! I've been dying to get someone to go through it!!!!
I love the cb750 very nice ❤😮❤
One day I will own one!!

Just beautiful machines .

Amazing builds bro!
Love the 750!!

Thanks Kyle, good luck with the build!
for me both bikes will look a lot better with some king of rear guard
Yah the 500 my fav just the look and sound, happy New year bud
Both look great. Nicely done. The 750 is more my style. I can't do clubman bars or clips on. I also like my bikes to have mufflers.
great work! loved your recent finished products!
Love the way you cleaned up all the brush under your trees on your property 👍💪🙏awesome
You sir are very talented happy 2021 from denmark 😊
Thanks!
the 500 is awesome!
I am torn on these two. The looks of the 750 but the sound and lightness of the 500. Either would fit easily in my garage as the car would stay outside in the weather!
Would love to see you cafe a mid 60 s Honda CB.
great job. wish i could afford one of your builds. lost my cb900c to hurricane harvey, and still trying to recover in many ways..
