Honestly, map tours like that could be awesome. It could be some content like "Executions graded" but for maps. But I get the amount of work it would represent also.
If I have to say anything about the cathedral map for both versions is that skirmish map is essentially the abandoned one that nobody really fights over because it's not really worth it. The reliquary is still there which I think it's probably the tomb of Ramiel or whoever inspired him lies. But in the dominion version it's all gone, I think this one is different from the one from skirmish in the Blackstone Hills where it resides, this one resides near a castle and is on a path to it. As such over the long war that has afflicted Heathmore It has been fortified, the knights would have likely moved the relics and any other valuable possessions of the cathedral to the castle itself where a new reliquary could be built so the Vikings and the samurai could not take them.
at 7:35, people may say the Knights aren't christian but most of mine technically are, or at least believing in a religion that's based on Christianity really. Especially since I have a Crusader Warden, Templar Black Prior, Inquisitor Conqueror, and recently I just made a "vatican assassin" Peacekeeper thanks to the Ezio skin.
Lore seems contradictory on the religion of the knights. Apollyon says that the "Gods of the knights are of steel, iron and gold." but she also mentions that the knights pray one god. Only that they don't agree on how to worship this deity. Glad mentions Mars and Horkos is a cult to a god of war that seems to differ from the main god of the knights. Maybe most are Monetheistic, while some are worship other gods like the Empire of the Romans.
@@SomeWeirdNinjaToon Yeah another reason why I don't even consider the lore of the game for the characters I play/make, most of it is just filler anyway to be disregarded when you decide to make up your own for them really.
I'm Greek Orthodox myself, one thing that you see a lot in Eastern Orthodox church architecture is a cruciform shape to the church when viewed from above, as well as the fact that Orthodox churches are usually oriented in such a way that they face east, as it is believed that when Christ returns, he will come in from the east.
I feel like the structure in the distance is less of a castle and more of a form of "Sea wall". Something built to watch the coasts and seas for any invaders. Kind of like a early warning system.
Meh I’d prefer if they stayed in the event. Now if they had to keep the dragon I’d prefer if it was more hidden so it’s not as distracting and out of place for many players and only people who look hard will notice.
@@elchjol2777 I mean I noticed it right off the bat from both spawns and most people will notice when they first get in the map because they want to gaze around at the new look and I’ve already had friends notice it lol. I already had noticed it too like 2 or 3 days before they converted Cathedral to Dominion when I was playing Deathmatch because he was already there. He should be put on a further away mountain if we have to keep him but he definitely shouldn’t be on the closest mountain right next to the map. You know? So people have to actually try to look.
Personally I hope that the Wyvern isn’t permanent and is just a limited time Easter egg. I’d prefer if the Wyverns stayed in events because it’s a bit distracting and feels a bit out of place from the rest of the map.
Honestly, heavy headcanon, I sorta think that in For Honor lore the knights are christian, and the whole thing with the Greco-Roman gods is rather that in their world those gods were either canonized as saints or incorporated into the religion, since there's a few saints in Christian religion that did come into being because of previous beliefs of people who converted

I'd like to think this means wyverns are canonically still alive meaning ramiel is somewhere near the cathedral
Sadly. I’d prefer if they’d just stay legends in the lore.
And if they are gonna bring them back I want to see the giants that were responsible for the cataclysm in ramial story
@@JamesWheeler-sk5nc I really dislike that they might be the reason because that’s boring
Id like to think thats the same wyvern either before or after the fight. Meaning ramiels job isnt done

This is really gorgeous. It really does look like something that Deborah is from almost. Excellent job raven

If the Invasion chant tells anything for the knights, they do find the war a just thing and something people who never tried it find it sweet
This is epic! I love your work brother and I respect you as a man of God
7:43 They also literally say Deus Vult in their ram chant. Cant get more Christian than that.
Great video.
This is cool.
Always happy to see a Wyvern, they had some cool design and animations back in their event.

@@dutchalwayshasaplan4956 Well it is on a rather distant mountain, during a mach most are going to not be looking out in that direction.

can you breach maps as well, Im surprised that there are no map showcase videos to appreciate the surroundings and ambience of the maps.
