I'd love to know the DTE logic. Your 19.0 is exactly what I see on a "normal" few days driving open road with some city miles. Open, flat road @ 60mph I see 22.5 sitting on cruise control. Hello from New Zealand
I’ve seen some great looking winch bumpers for it but I’m just keeping it mostly stock for now. I’ve got a Jeep with all the wheeling stuff. This one’s just for running around and goofing off 👍
Interesting video. I bought a Ranger Raptor about a month ago. On the first tank I only drove it in town and only got 16 mpg. I hope I can do better on a long range trip. I saw a video by a guy called Topher. He got the performance tune and did an mpg video and suggests that his mileage improved.
Sweet truck, would like to ask a bunch of questions of you before buying one, unfortunately I'm looking at some $80,000 Canadian and therefore have to stick with my 2010 F150. lol
Come to Texas and do your same road trip you will be getting worse mpg I have found this to be true for numerous eco boost trucks I have had and when I leave the state I start getting better numbers
@@OverlandExposuresThat, or the evil engineers at Ford have it mapped on way for cars located on GPS within Texas and a cheaper map for cars outside of Texas hehehehehehe😅😅
You actually get better fuel mileage with the tune…
I’ve gotten 22mpg on trips using the cruise control. In the city I avg 15-16mpg and the worse I got was 11mpg
The tune will give you better mpg - there are people out there who have tested it etc
I’m thinking about it more and more now

Wow, that’s great!
Great vid! About to start reaching out to dealers and absorbing YT content on this truck. Any thoughts on adding a winch on aftermarket bumper?

I may have missed it but did you divide your miles by the gallons used to get your numbers or just take them off the digital in the truck?
I just took it from the truck. Probably should’ve though
Did you get yours at MSRP. I live in Nampa Idaho. And I can’t find one at Msrp
7k over. They’re impossible to get at MSRP here. Lithia in Boise. Ask for Mukie (mooo key)
Just ordered a 2025 at Msrp. From a dealer in Oregon can’t wait.

His handle is TheTopher.
Oh yeah, I’ve seen some of his stuff. I’ll check out that vid 👍Thanks!
