Thank you, your video helped me so much setting up my Radiomaster Zorro 4 in 1 and my Flywoo Firefly 1S Nano. I was having issues binding it. Watching your video walked me step by step through it and it worked perfectly. the issue was i had to change the Frsky X freq to Frsky D and no one tells you how to do this or that you need to. Except you. OMG thanks. So many videos cut corners and just say go watch my older videos on that step or don't tell you how to setup a certain type of radio like the 4 in 1 everybody does the ELRS instead but most beginner get the 4 in 1. You'll be in the middle of setting this up and they want you to go watch 5 other videos telling you how to do 3 simple steps that would've taking 2 minutes to tell you. You take the time to explain it in your videos. I really appreciate the simple explanations and steps on how to do this sometimes complicated and frustrating hobby. lol I wish I had someone that lived near me that could help in person sometimes. My Aunts boyfriend was a big RC airplane flyer and enthusiast, he got me interested in the hobby a couple years ago and last year I really started checking into it. but he found out he was exposed to asbestos years ago working and got sick and it actually killed him this past year. this is one of the best radiomaster zorro 4in1 bind and fiy videos out wright now im got my drone to arm after a year of fighting with it thanks big bro for what you do for this community thanks

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 it worked! At the very least I was able to link up the arm switch and most of the controls for the speedybee flex25 Zorro combo with crossfire!
This video is EXACTLY what I need! Detailed and easy to follow. If I can't program my new Zorro today, then I am not following your steps. Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to program a Zorro I go...
Thank you so much for this video! I have a Zorro ELRS version and recently got the XJT Lite module so that I could connect to my Tinyhawk II freestyle. Had never setup a controller from scratch and this video helped me to do so!
I cannot figure out how to get past the internal RF step?! My internal RF mode only allows for CRSF and not a MULTI option. Please help if you can. Thanks.
I ordered mine '4 in one' when they were announced weeks ago. It's on its way with separate batteries from China. Thanks for the video. I am sure there will be questions when it arrives.
Seems like Radiomaster Zorro is a good controller for connecting to FPV drones, Planes, Cars etc. The tutorial made it easy to understand about it! I find the set up and binding of these types of controllers pretty hard, maybe because I have 2 years of experience in RC drones currently (not so much about FPV). I don't have anything else to write about, here to make the comment a long paragraph or essay as always but I know this tutorial must be helpful for beginner FPV hobbyists!
Awesome tutorial, very detailed! I’m thinking of replacing my FlySky Nirvana. I like the idea of having the options of using different receivers. I think the 4 in 1 with a TBS module will be my new go to radio. 👍 as always
Thanks Steve, for this video. I bought the Zorro for a fill in, till I can straighten out my TX16s, and get the audio working, after my EdgeTX conversion. I get it tomorrow, and the timing couldn't have been more perfect! I couldn't believe you're using a MAC to do it! I actually bought a recycled corp computer, because 99% of UA-camrs use windows, so I could process the steps.Lol, I'm old and slower. I only have one ELRS drone, and the rest is FrSky, Spectrum DSMX, Admiral, Lemon RX, so I'll be purchasing the BetaFpv module. Thanks for using the KISS format for the vids, making it easier to process for us mature guys.
i feel like warnings like "keep your antenna on or the battery will fry your drone" should be get much more attention than a very fast spoken subordinate clause, easy to miss. I really wanna start drones as a hobby but the more i learn about it, the more complicated it gets. Thank you for the binding, that will help in future, im sure.
Video Transmitters are the most powerful thing (power wise) on any drone (DJI Camera drone and RC Hobby FPV Drones as an example). They are always in a state of sending out a signal and if there is no antenna connected they just overheat and fry.
Man, Captain you have perfect timing. I was thinking of switching to a game style controller and the Zoro is what I was eyeing. The ELRS version , since I allready have a nano crossfire module, I can attach.
Thank you for the excellent video! But I have a problem that I think is configuration. When I want to change to "multi" mode in "Internal RF Mode" I can't, since it stays fixed at "CRSF 400K" and it doesn't give me another option, what can I do?
@CAPTAIN DRONE GREAT VIDEO I HAD MY BETAFPV BETA6. FOR A YEAR NEVER GOT IT TO BIND WITH MY RADIO MASTER ZORRO 4 IN 1 BUT TODAY I WATCH YOUR VIDEO AND I FINILLY GOT IT TO BIND WITH MY DRONE EVERTHING WORK BUT THE ARM SWITCH SAID ARM BUT IN BATAFLIGHT IT WONT ARM BUT THE OTHER SWITCHS WORK ON MY RADIO BUTTHE MOTORS WONT SPIN BECAUE THE ARM BUTTON TALKS AND SAY ARMED BUT ON BETAFLIGHT WONT SWTICH ON WHAT YOU THANK
It works like this in the FPV and RC Hobby. You buy a radio that is compatible with the receiver in your drone or whatever RC product you are connecting to. So, look at some FPV drones you want to buy and see which receivers are available, then buy a radio that is compatible with those.
💯New to the hobby world of open tx /4in1 ect, been watching lots of video's on this Zorro been asking lots of questions and not really getting any answers 🤔So where am i going with this, i chuckled when you said you are half deaf "not in a rude way" , so you said you like a loud volume, Well i said 💩 i am half blind , so i really like how you zoom in and put those green finger pointers showing what you are talking about and showing a nice zoomed in clear image of the controls screen, It's a bitch being a half of a century + 6 and trying to learn what i call high tech gear... I usually get RTF but there is not much of a selection on the type of drone, plane, glider, ect , so i decided to get this Zorro so i will have a better choice on model's‼💯Thank you for taking the time on breaking it down for us not so tech old timer's! ✈🛩🍀🤙
Steve, I have a zorro with ELRS, so what would I select for internal RF and external RF, I have a whoop with an all in receiver with ELRS and walksnail camera system, the goggles the Zorro and whoop are all new the whoop is suppose to be a BNF. Thanks, you video are so great for us beginners.
Can you dim the light using S2 pot? I am still learning this edge, I like OPEN-TX better because I know it much better. I do not want to set it up on my computer because I want to be able to program it and make changes in the field. Thank you for clearing up the battery charging port, I did not think so however I did not want to plug in a charger and ruin my new radio lol
Hello at first, this tutorial is very helpful! But i have a little problem with choosing the right Internal RF. I can only chiose between OFF and CRSF? Why ? Can you help me please ?
Great morning captain done, I just purchase the sector d5 v3 and add the radiomaster zorro, after trying few hours just about two days, I really need your help
Following along on your tutorial, when i try to set up the arm switch and click in on source and flip the E switch S1 doesnt change to SE it stays on S1, and its the same for the F switch also. The top switches work changing S1 to SB and SC. Its like the bottom two switches are having no input
Sounds like are missing the switch assignment in the mixes. My suggestion is to watch me do the same thing on a different radio because if you missed a step, you’ll miss it again, but if you watch a different video your brain may catch it. The BIG brother of the ZORRO is the TX16s. It has a color touch screen but the remaining menus are the same as you’ll see. Watch this one and simply translate what you see to the ZORRO. ua-cam.com/video/9vvBurye-VQ/v-deo.htmlsi=Xiq6kJVS4cflbNfR
An excellent video! Thorough but clear and speedy. (Pause button mentioned for those of us with slower cognitive skills.) Only possible additional item that I can see would be to use an in-line switch to facilitate bind set-up. Trying to plug in batteries and hold down bind buttons with 2 hands and a prehensile tail has whiskers on it. Like added.
Thanks for the detailed video. This was extremely helpful. Now I want to add a beeper in case of drone lost (Tx_set). I added another input and connect it to voice "buzzer active". Then I go through the bind process again and try to find the button in Betaflight. However I keep getting stuck there. The button is the one between armed and flight mode (on the left side) It is put to input channel 6. But in Betaflight on the receiver tab, I see nothing happening when I press the button. Can you please help me? Thank you very much.
You have to setup the switch or button in the mixes screen on your radio as per the video (you can select any switch or button), then in Betaflight in the modes tab look for an item that says buzzer and assign the switch to it by selecting AUTO, then flicking switch and hitting save.
Hi. I buy a ZORRO, configured thanks to this video, have a question,, in ZORRO when activate the ARM play sound ARMED and Betaflight i can see ARMED,,,, but, the TinyHawk II is not armed "works upside down, backwards", i want to say is, when ARM in the ZORRO the TinyHawk is not ARMED, and when OFF ARM in ZORRO, the TinyHawk is ARMED, what i can do to solve this?. Thank you very much for your videos.
Just got a Zorro max and I’m following your video when I get to turning on the internal Rf I’m only given the choices of off and CRSF I ordered an ELRS says ELRS on the box as well. Did I even up with a Crossfire protocol. I’ve been away from the hobby for about 6 years and I am confused quite honesty. So much has changed.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 so that is ELRS awesome thank you I was worried I got a bad radio since internal cross fire isn’t even an option. Thank you so much 6 years out and I feel like I have not got a clue and I grew up been flying RC since I was 10 been a lotta years let’s put it that way.
I setup my zorro with an external elrs module to a meteor 75 pro. when i connect to betaflight in the modes section the arm switch is reversed. When the armed box is red the switch is in the up position. When the switch is in the down position the box is gray and reads armed. the horizon and angle modes are also reversed. However, when I go to fly the quad the arm switch works normaly(down is disabled and up is armed) I cannot tell if the horizon and angle modes work. Would appreciate any help. Love your videos.
All radios have channel reverse options (I.e., every 3 way and 2 way switch or button simply sends out a negative, neutral and positive frequency for 3 way switches and a negative/positive for two way switches and buttons). You can REVERSE any of these switches (which are assigned to a channel) within your radio.
Hey Captain Drone! I hope you see this comment as I really need some advice…. I’ve recently purchased a Bind n Fly IFlight BOB57, with the 03 air unit and Crossfire. I bought the bon57, a few batteries and charger from iFlight as one order, and have bought a TBS Tango 2 from whoopstore (U.K. fpv store) I didn’t realise at the time but the tango 2 is purchased on back order, and they have no idea how long it could be before it arrives.! The Bob57, lipos, d6 charger are arriving on Thursday but know I’m not gunna have a remote to fly it with! Would you suggest that this is a good option if I can find this in stock anywhere instead? Or… what other similar priced remotes that will work with my BNF iFlight kwad would you (or anyone in comments?) recommend It’s looking like it could be a long while waiting for this tbs tango 2, and although that is the one I wanted, I can always get a refund or see what other options whoopstore has available. This is my first proper kwad, so I’m a complete newb with it all, so I’m already nervous about this type of thing, and betaflight etc. I’ve currently got Avata and Mini 3 Pro and am well looking forward to getting into proper fpv! I wish I knew this about the tango 2 as I would have got the Bob57 with ELRS and bought the Commando 8 in the same order from iFlight but it’s too late now, so I have a crossfire kwad, lipos and charger arriving this Thursday, and I have a pair of goggles V2 from my Dji Fpv so all is almost ready to go and I have no controller. Would you suggest to just leave it all in its box and wait for the tango 2 mo matter how long, or lock for a ZORRO in stock, or look for a different alternative for a crossfire remote controller. Sorry to go on so much but I really am a complete newbie so really could do with some help. None of my friends group are into fpv so there’s no one in my area that knows this stuff that I can go and ask. ReLly hope that you see this comment on the sea of other comments you must get. Cheers and hopefully you can help me out. If you do see this, reply to this comment and I’ll give you my email so we can correspond easier. Thanks man and hope to speak soon.
Zorro ELRS does not work with DJI. DJI makes products that are not usually compatible with the RC hobby which is why their batteries are proprietary as well as their controller and drones.
Thank you . I’m new to FPV and I just bought this RC with a Flywoo firefly S1 baby nano with a TBS cross fire receiver. needless to say I need all the help.
I have about 50 bound (drones, helicopters, planes). Not sure what the max is, but I'm guessing it is plenty since I have never heard anyone complain of reaching the end.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thank you, the problem that I was having is that the drone settings that you want to delete cannot be in use, otherwise you don't get the option to delete it. Thank you again.
Do you have to have either crossfire nano or ELRS for it to work? Would I be able to bind it to my tinyhawk or would I need to get both an ELRS module and receiver?
Great tutorial but I seem to be struggling, it appears that my race over and transceiver were able to bind because of the solid blue light I received but when I plug it into beta nothing moves under the receiver setting.

Hello I bought the 4 in 1 and don’t know how to bind elrs module and receiver. I bought the happymodel es24 slim pro and ep1 receiver. Not familiar with edge tx . Owned flysky tx and rx. Please help Thank you
There is not enough room in the comments section or in an email to help you. FPV is a hobby where there are a million variables which is why finding help from a human not standing beside you can be almost impossible. Unfortunately, your best friend is the UA-cam search engine and forums on topics. You won't get all the answers but once you start understanding the concepts, your brain should begin putting two & two together.
I’ve got mine on order, won’t get it till next month, I’m in Australia so as per usual it’s going to take some time, but I’m definitely looking forward to getting it and going through the setting up. I’m assuming it will be set up in edge tx and it looks similar to open tx, so I shouldn’t have too many problems. Thanks for this video, it’s good to know that I now have a basic set up to put in to the radio .
They always seam to put wheels or switches where many of use pitchers would put our finger to stabilize the radio, maybe some on will come up with a 3D print they allow one to cover the wheels they don't need, just saying. Great job with video, you have me strongly looking close at this radio. Great job, thank you!
Captain, I just got my zorro today. Tbs crossfire nano, with geprc rocket plus tbs crossfire. I have solid green lights on both reciever and module. When trying to see if switches, sticks are working in betaflight, it does not work. Does that mean it did not fully bind? Even though I had a blue light on tbs crossfire, clicked it once, and it updated the firmware on the drone… then went solid green on both. Which should mean I am binded. Not sure what is going on.
Yup you have something incorrect in your settings. I can't problem solve without standing there and doing it myself. The first thing I'd check is your USB cable. If you connect to betaflight and pick up the drone, does it change on screen to show movement? Do you have a battery in your drone?
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 yes sir. Usb cable is the magnetic one that joshua bardwell uses. Yes drone moves with betaflight. I tried with and without battery in drone. Found abc filter on drone settings was turned on, betaflight says to turn off. I have my reciever option set to CRSF on betaflight. No idea why it does not want to show stick movements or switches. Telemetry says it connects with voice on remote, but no stick movement on drone screen either. Solid green lights on both tbs nano and drone.
@@reconchamp So it sounds like you are connected which also means you may see the light change on the drone when you flick switches on your radio. So the issue then is in your betaflight settings. My guess is you'll find it in your config tab or other tabs near that.

Captain Drone, can you help? I got a Radiomaster Zorro along with m1 evo and struggling here, beginner with helis, usually flying fpv drones. Question is, how exactly do I setup my switches to do "disarm" "arm" and or "stab mode" or "acro?" To be more clear, with FPV drones, we need to use the "modes" tab on "Betaflight" to tell the flight controller that say switch "SF" on zorro is "arm-disarm" BUT m1 evo's flight controller "can't" connect to betaflight, because its a heli.. so how?? I already named and setup my channels 5-8 under the "Mixes" tab on my Zorro and said that I want those "sourced" on a certain switch, so now how do I tell the heli's FC the same?
Hi! Can you use any usb charger of cellphone to charge this zorro? because the manual says maximum charging voltage is 4.2V, while all the usb voltage is 5V? Thanks

@@timmyhanstine9508 There are plenty of videos on how to bind ELRS but I don't know if there is a specific one showing the process on the ZORRO. I have not created one because ELRS is open source which means a new version comes out every few weeks and anything I say in one video is then out of date. Here is the SIMPLE method to bind ELRS. It may or may not work for you. On your RADIO press the SYSTEM button and select the TOOLS menu and select EXPRESS LRS. If you don't see a TOOLS menu and only see EXPRESS LRS, then just select that. When EXPRESS LRS starts up you'll see the BIND option (scroll down). Next get your drone and a battery. What you have to do is plug the battery in lightly so that you see a light appear on the Flight Controller. As soon as you see a light, unplug the battery. One second later do the exact same thing (plug and unplug). Then one second after that plug the battery in and this time leave it plugged in. If you did everything correctly the drone is now in BIND mode. Now highlight the BIND option on your radio and press the SCROLL WHEEL (which is the Enter Key). If everything worked the radio will be bound to the drone. If it fails and doesn't work it is due to one of two reasons. Either you did it incorrectly or your drone and your radio are on different ELRS firmware versions.
Hi, i am looking to buy ELRS version but couldnt find any TBS Crossfire nano version for this radio, my current Crossfire module would not fit as the pinout is different
Thanks for the Zorro basic set-up! It got me going in a quick minute. I however had to find another video/tutorial on the VTX. During my failed attempt with another controller (the 50.00 betafpv controller), I must of screwed something up trying to configure with the Mobula6. Something was wrong with that Beta FPV controller.
Hey Captain, I have a DJI FPV & a MAVIC Mini 1. Is it possible to use my DJI goggles and remote with any RTF smaller drone I can fly around in the house on a rainy day. What would you recommend.
Cory the answer is no. Your DJI V2 goggles will work with the FPV hobby if you buy a DIGITAL FPV Caddx Vista or DJI Air Unit FPV drone. Your controller for your Mini and DJI FPV are those beginner type of none programmable controls with no ability to connect to receivers.
I have been trying to find out if this model has the ability to connect to the OMP M2 heli. I want to buy one of these to fly my helis but do not want to have to get sat receivers.
Many items are sold often but only to people I know locally. I used to sell outside to strangers but too many strangers treated me like tech support, so that ended that.
Correct. You just go into BETAFLIGHT and look for FLIP OVER under the modes tab, then select a switch on your remote. Ensure you have activated the switch ahead of time by doing what was shown for setting up the ARM and MODES switch. Just make another one and call it FLIP.
Hi hope you can help me, I bought Driblet S 2" with Frsky rec trying to bind it is not working thinking there maybe a glitch in the 4 an 1 radiomaster zorrow edge not working for me
I’m looking at getting one of these to use with a Eachine E010 that I am not sure what rx is built in. Can I assume the 4 in 1 version of the Zorro will have the correct protocol?
I have no idea. Most of us use such radios for flying FPV Drones, RC Planes, RC Helicopters and not low cost toy drones. You'll need to do some research.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thanks for the reply. I’m coming back to this hobby after about 5 years of inactivity and trying to figure out the best, most cost effective way to start over while still using the gear I already have (which is sorely out dated). Since the tech has improved so much in that time, I think I’m better off moving on from my current setup and grab either this radio or the BetaFPV LiteRadio 3 Pro and upgrade the FC on the E010 to something hobby level(or buy an updated whoop). If I go that route, would you agree that it would make the most sense to get an ERLS version radio?
8:43 you mentioned whatever module you can put at the back of the elrs version. So its like a 4 in 1 only that it already has a elrs inside. Correct? I think my question was, is the module bay at the back of the 4 in 1 versios and the elrs version the same?
module bays are the same. An ELRS module is very inexpensive ($40) so that is why people buy the 4 in 1 and add the ELRS module. The ELRS version is more for those people who are 100% ELRS.
Sir I am using a frsky XM plus receiver so from the four options which appear while binding the transmitter to the receiver which one should I choose to get rssi in channel 16.... Please tell....
Sir i am talking about the options which appeared in 20:43, in the video. Since i am using FRSKY XM PLUS RECIEVER which option should i choose to use 16th channel for RSSI output!
@@pranava_fpv4836 The answer is that it depends on your receiver's capabilities. Try 9 - 16 no telemetry. Then if that works, try the same again WITH TELEMETRY. Usually XM Plus receivers are 1-8 no telemetry because the ones shipped with drones are either copies or they have had the firmware changed to work with any radio.
Thanks for this good video, im starting in this World and i trayed to bind my pavo 30 with this tutorial, but when i press the button in bind it started to sound like beep, beep and dont appear the chances option...can you say me why?thanks in advance
Yes, the beep beep beep is how the radio tells you it is in bind mode (it is sending a signal to your receiver and it is up to your receiver to respond). If you're binding does not work it is because you have either selected the wrong receiver information or your receiver is not in Bind mode.

@@danielda3894 It is almost impossible to provide you with advice on how to fix your issue because there are so many things that could be wrong. Thanks for the video! I got my Zorro today and used this video to bind it to my Aquila 16. Wish learning to fly acro mode as this easy!
If you were able to do that then you are well ahead of the game and do well in the FPV hobby.
This video is EXACTLY what I need! Detailed and easy to follow. If I can't program my new Zorro today, then I am not following your steps. Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to program a Zorro I go...
I'm new to all this and would not have figured this out to save my life. It was plenty detailed for me! Thanks!
Glad it helped!
Thanks.
yes, thank you! Your video helped me decide which controller to buy as the Radiomaster choices were so confusing for a newbie.
Glad I could help!
I ordered mine '4 in one' when they were announced weeks ago. It's on its way with separate batteries from China. Thanks for the video. I am sure there will be questions when it arrives.
when I got my first FPV gear this was the video I ended up using to set up my drone. Out of tge sea of videos I saved learnin about this.
Excellent Review Steve, and Excellent Controller! Thank You For Sharing It With Us.
Super duper review! My comfort level is going up and some one day I'll next next level!
i feel like warnings like "keep your antenna on or the battery will fry your drone" should be get much more attention than a very fast spoken subordinate clause, easy to miss.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 thank you for the explanation. that helps understanding.
This is the review i've waiting! Thxs Captain Drone
Man, Captain you have perfect timing. I was thinking of switching to a game style controller and the Zoro is what I was eyeing. The ELRS version , since I allready have a nano crossfire module, I can attach.
Another very nice RadioMaster RC Controller and review.
Thanks Captain
You’re welcome
Great review Cap!! The Zorro feels so good on the hands !! Thanks so much! Appreciate you
Thank you so much! Just the video I needed. Very helpful! Thank you.
Thank you for the excellent video! But I have a problem that I think is configuration. When I want to change to "multi" mode in "Internal RF Mode" I can't, since it stays fixed at "CRSF 400K" and it doesn't give me another option, what can I do?
Did you figure this out. I think it’s for elrs internal controllers?
Incredible production quality man! Great video
Much appreciated!
Thanks for the useful video.

Do you know which version of the radio master zorro would be best for connecting and flying mini whoops?👍
It works like this in the FPV and RC Hobby. You buy a radio that is compatible with the receiver in your drone or whatever RC product you are connecting to. So, look at some FPV drones you want to buy and see which receivers are available, then buy a radio that is compatible with those.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 oh ok thank you so much you helped me out alot👍
Glad you are making progress, and glad I could help.

Sounds like you bought the ELRS version
Have to compliment you on this review very well done.
Thank you kindly!
Thank you, I have benefited greatly from your explanations❤
Thanks for the reply sir, i figured it out the switches were not assigned in the hardware section

The radio can be powered from the balance lead of a 2s battery or the xt30 cable is needed?
Thank you
Balance lead from a 2S will work.
Like added.
Agree with you. Suggest getting a smoke stopper with a built in on - off switch. Worth the money and makes it much easier.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thank you it worked. Indeed that was exactly what I forgot. Thanks very much.
Hi. Thank you very much for your videos.
You could simple arm REVERSE your switch in your Radio Setup Menu
Just got a Zorro max and I’m following your video when I get to turning on the internal Rf I’m only given the choices of off and CRSF I ordered an ELRS says ELRS on the box as well. Did I even up with a Crossfire protocol. I’ve been away from the hobby for about 6 years and I am confused quite honesty. So much has changed.
You have an ELRS version. CRSF is simply the script reading language that both cross fire and ELRS use.
If you use an external extra battery can you charge everything at once through the usb c plug?
No. External battery needs to be charged on external charger
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 That’s what I was thinking but I wanted to make sure thank you so much for your response!

Hey Captain Drone!
I hope you see this comment as I really need some advice….
I’ve recently purchased a Bind n Fly IFlight BOB57, with the 03 air unit and Crossfire.
I bought the bon57, a few batteries and charger from iFlight as one order, and have bought a TBS Tango 2 from whoopstore (U.K. fpv store)
I didn’t realise at the time but the tango 2 is purchased on back order, and they have no idea how long it could be before it arrives.!
The Bob57, lipos, d6 charger are arriving on Thursday but know I’m not gunna have a remote to fly it with!
Would you suggest that this is a good option if I can find this in stock anywhere instead?
Or… what other similar priced remotes that will work with my BNF iFlight kwad would you (or anyone in comments?) recommend
It’s looking like it could be a long while waiting for this tbs tango 2, and although that is the one I wanted, I can always get a refund or see what other options whoopstore has available.
Changing from DJI controller to zorro ELRS. How do I control the camera setting like the wheel does on the DJI controller?
Zorro ELRS does not work with DJI. DJI makes products that are not usually compatible with the RC hobby which is why their batteries are proprietary as well as their controller and drones.
Thank you . I’m new to FPV and I just bought this RC with a Flywoo firefly S1 baby nano with a TBS cross fire receiver. needless to say I need all the help.
They sell a case for Radiomaster Zorro with a mold shape for the radio. It is about an inch smaller than the Radiomaster TX16 case.
Any idea how many models can be bound or “saved” to the 4-1 at the same time?
I have about 50 bound (drones, helicopters, planes). Not sure what the max is, but I'm guessing it is plenty since I have never heard anyone complain of reaching the end.
Hi Steve, how do you modify or delete the settings for a saved drone if you made a mistake? Thank you for your help
Dennis
Modify is easy, just type over everything. To delete it will be in a menu that allows you to select the model.
Just check out what type of RECEIVER is in your Tinyhawk. If it is ELRS, then get an ELRS radio.
Great tutorial but I seem to be struggling, it appears that my race over and transceiver were able to bind because of the solid blue light I received but when I plug it into beta nothing moves under the receiver setting.

Failsafe is simply an option you set on your remote to tell the receiver in the drone what to do if connection is lost.
Captain Drone, can you help? I got a Radiomaster Zorro along with m1 evo and struggling here, beginner with helis, usually flying fpv drones.
Question is, how exactly do I setup my switches to do "disarm" "arm" and or "stab mode" or "acro?" To be more clear, with FPV drones, we need to use the "modes" tab on "Betaflight" to tell the flight controller that say switch "SF" on zorro is "arm-disarm" BUT m1 evo's flight controller "can't" connect to betaflight, because its a heli.. so how??
I already named and setup my channels 5-8 under the "Mixes" tab on my Zorro and said that I want those "sourced" on a certain switch, so now how do I tell the heli's FC the same?

hey man i just got my elrs zorro and one thing i am struggling with is when changing internal rf to multi it wont let me my only option is crsf
That is correct. That is because it is not a multi protocal radio, but rather an ELRS radio. You need the one with the 4-in-1 chip to be multi.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 is there a video of how to bind on the elrs zorro

I don’t think you can but I’m pretty sure the magic mini works with the older DJ I goggles like the race ones

Sir please answer!
When you follow the steps in my video, those are all the options available. I am not exactly sure what you are asking.
What do i have to do, if there are not the tracks on my zorro like on yours? I dont have the tracks "armed" and so on.
also updatet to the latest fw
There should be a sound package on the RADIOMASTER website
Thanks for the video - it's super straightforward! I've got a quick question: Does ELRS out-range the TBS Nano RX?
Yes, but… it all depends on power output, receiver and antennas
Thanks bud!@@CAPTAINDRONE798
Thanks for this good video, im starting in this World and i trayed to bind my pavo 30 with this tutorial, but when i press the button in bind it started to sound like beep, beep and dont appear the chances option...can you say me why?thanks in advance
Yes, the beep beep beep is how the radio tells you it is in bind mode (it is sending a signal to your receiver and it is up to your receiver to respond). If you're binding does not work it is because you have either selected the wrong receiver information or your receiver is not in Bind mode.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thanks very much, the problem was that i dident put the dron in Bing mode...now i have another problem...i can see in betafly how the sticks works correctly, the swich 1 and 2 the same, i can see the arming swich works in beta but when i put the batery without usb cable dont arm, and in beta i can make work the engines..
Can you help me? Thanks in advance
@@danielda3894 It is almost impossible to provide you with advice on how to fix your issue because there are so many things that could be wrong. You could have a simple problem such as you didn't turn your radio on first before plugging the battery into your drone. The good news is that you will figure it out.... everyone in the FPV hobby always fixes there problems and it is usually something simple that they missed or did wrong.
can i add a TBS Crossfire TX LITE if i dont have the mini
This video was so helpful thankyou
This or the Tango 2? I’m completely new to FPV. I plan to use all digital and use DJI v2 Goggles. Do I buy the Zorro with Crossfire then or the 4in1?
Crossfire & ELRS are long transmission range formats. ELRS is currently common in tiny drones and crossfire in larger drones.
Go for ELRS
Hi Steve I have a question, I have a RadioMaster zorro, Can I have it beep when my battery is at low voltage, Since my Geprc 30 don't have osd, I use phone timer for the flight time which is like 5 minute flight, I just don't want it dropping from high. Thanks
There would have to be BATTERY VOLTAGE sent from the drone to the radio for that to occur. I would just install a battery voltage beeper on your drone (connect it to the batteries balance cable): here it is on the Canadian Amazon store but it may show up on your countries AMAZON store when you click on the link: amzn.to/4bYrEXn
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 wow that's great, I happened to have that tester, Steve your the best, I will hook it up, What's the lowest voltage I can set it to on the 4s battery
@@jorge6281955set it to 3.6 volts per cell
What does those inputs switches means and do for the drone? Asking for a friend.
The switches on the remote, each send out a frequency to the drone, so the drone has no idea what they mean until you tell it in BETAFLIGHT CONFIGURATOR.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 so, what did you tell it in the BetaFlight configurator for each* of those "switches" on the remote(ch.5-7) and What actual functions(switches) they do for the drone? Asking for a Newbie friend(new to the drone hobby.)
@@elelnoel5196 Unfortunately it would take much to long to explain all you need to know here as you may be a bit lost (as well as your friend). You'll have to research the info. Everyone who was ever a newbie in the RC hobby eventually figured everything out. It just takes a bit of understanding and then everything comes together.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 , you could have just replied with answers for all of the functions from channel 5 thru 6 switches. Thanks for your time but you're no help at all. Unsubscribed.
