i cant think of any other musician that can touch ppls hearts and move ppl to tears by playing his instrument with this kinda passion. its not about his brilliant control of the instrument, but all about his soul he puts in these beautifull melancholic songs. Buckethead can make you feel down and sad, but at the same time give you an uppety kinda feel all in the same song, truly no one like that can move me with his music like Buckethead.

makes me feel like i'm floating in a sea of dreams, watching my past float by, seeing the future unfold, feeling every emotion i ever have, and settling into the peace of it all. like a soft comfy bed, of life, choices, and the happiness that comes with the imperfections, that would so be missed in a perfect world.

I discovered BH when I was 12. I'm 18 now and I'm so happy that I found this guy on mistake. I was searching a video of a radio personality that calls himself Buckethead here in central Florida. The amount of influence this guy has on me is ridiculous. I refuse to play any of his songs live in front of any decent number of people. I feel like I have to perfect what has been such a great influence on me before I can be worthy to play it. This has yet to happen.

    • @2ndsnake899

its not just about how much of a skill a good guitarist has... its about putting your heart where the notes are written. Buckethead is an inspiration because he does more than that.... I want to be- no, I already am an emotional person like him. The thing is that im scared of showing that emotion

to nerd out, description is a lil off, at least for this tune: often times there are two acoustics and one electric. Noticeable at 1:08, one strum, one arpeggio, one bending. I love creating music like this myself, it's serenity. One song off of one album, of some 250 albums.

  • @MrGodPowered

The whole damn song did that for me. Christ, I listen to hard rock and heavy metal and this song brought me to tears. Perfect name for the song. The neatest thing is that none of the comments on this song complain about Slash like GNR forums, this song and the emotions Bucket puts into it...they just...make you feel......at peace, I guess.

What this song feels like to me is the moment when a persons true face is revealed to you. All this time you thought she was an angel, but now you see her for what she really is. All this time you saw something in her that never even existed. None of the memories you have with her will ever be the same.

@soothsayer1985 exactly! He just has so many different voices, flavors, and genres. The diverse musical pallet of buckethead finds fortes in matching which mood you want to hear I think. Dunno if that makes sense but that's how I view it haha.

@Zaspor I totally agree :) I bought Cukoo Clocks from Hell last summer but was in a Colma or Electric Tears mode at that time.. but I never regreted buying it. I love his Metal stuff too. I guess it just depends what mood your in.

U are so right. Like colors, like paintings ... This is why BH sands out a little for me. He is like a mix of a lot of music and it comes out as something hard not to listen to, no? It's like his music is like a movie. You can almost see what he is playing. P.S. No I am not on drugs! ;-)

Buckethead's story is on the internet, and its an interesting one, to say the least.lol
He doesn't usually play with anyone specific, but he does have the occasional singer in his albums.
