I have never heard about buckethead until my co worker told me about him a couple weeks ago... These 2 weeks has been a wild ride.. trying to catch up what I've been missing for over a decade I think it's so amazing how he doesn't show his face or talk.. so you can focus on the music and not a style .. and now he has no live shows 😑 this is real music we love you BUCKET !!!

Heard he's got a sort of a heart condition that sounds pretty serious. My thoughts are going out to Buckethead as I listen back to this album - the one that first got me hooked on his stuff. I'm thankful for his music!

He seems to be doing okay since he's taking a medication that keeps it under control- he said he was having a stroke and did not even know about it. Thank modern medical care 'cause big guys like him are more prone to developing cardiovascular issues.

Imagine being alone on the beach of a small island somewhere in the Pacific, its evening and just as the sun is setting it starts to rain. Youre standing under a palm tree watchin the sun set in the bright orange and purplish blue sky over the giant ocean and its raining all around you. Thats what i like to think of when i listen to this.

I pity those that have not been given the opportunity to experience this mans genius. He has the ability to bring me to tears with his serene sounds. As well as amp me up for the most taxing of lifting sessions. His diversity and technical ability is other worldly. The bucket is the GOAT in my humble opinion.

It's strange reading all these comments and interesting too. It's how I found him by reading comments somewhere else. I'm a baby boomer at 61 and I can't stand it when my peers are stuck in the 60's music. They don't know what they're missing. This is THE best music ever and I want to thank every one of you that turned me onto him. You've changed my life!

I don't think that is why he writes such good music. I think it's a matter of devoution, he produced this album for his mother, while she was in a hospital for colon cancer. You can really feel how hard he tried on this one. Other times, I feel like he has hardly put effort into his music, yet it still comes out beautiful. Brian is honestly one of the greatest musicians this world will ever see/hear, and he continues to amaze me with each and every new and old song that I hear.

@Serondie How could anyone not be? I've been listening to him all night for three nights now and he takes me to places I didn't know existed. I lost my mom less than a year ago and when I listen to I Love My Parents it breaks my heart but I love that he can evoke such emotions in me. He must have the most incredible loving supportive parents ever for him to write such beautiful and tender music for them. BTW, is it okay to ask if you're male or female? Just curious.

@matosdiogo12 let me get this straigth my parents do'nt like metal or rock..
my youngest brother isn't a rock fan eighter.
my sister only likes the song november rain...
i'm the only one with my brother ( may he rest in peace) so my old ones have nothing to do with this...
it's the society who creates a kids world these days.
they all want to be liked and they don't choose their own life.
my kids do'nt have to lisen to rock if they are grown-ups that is their choice not mine.

When I hear this song I think about a small lonely cockroach with a little backpack on his back... Walking trough the big insect city... With everyone spitting on him... The only thing he wanted was to make friends... But Buckethead accepted the little bug and they became friends... Maybe this should be good too in the real world... People gotta accept each other more... Don't prejudice people on their look... First know them better from inside... Only than will u know if they are nice or not...

i only don't like that you can't hear him very over the drums...but i understand its meaning so i guess it's ok...

Lyrics can be open to interpretation, it's just most of them are centralized on a corporate theme for commercial gain. We used to have things like Pink Floyd that must devoid of lyrical inbreeding, now we have the likes of Buckethead who simply avoid all lyrical inbreeding by declining from the use of words. But it's true. Instrumentals are more abstract.

yeah, the bio's are a bit misleading, but its only a character. anything can happen to a character. plus, anyone who is a fan of buckethead will know that on the "thank you's" section of the sleeve notes thing on his cd's, he thanks "mom and dad carroll" i doubt anyone would thank their parents for kicking them out the house.

This entire album is pure magic and I think the DJ should get a ton of credit. Bucket could have very easily just released the album by himself and it still woulda sounded 10/10, but somehow he foreshadowed the magic that'd come from playing with the DJ and released a timeless classic that will forever be in my top 3 albums in existence. Love this song.
