Buckethead is the best musician in the world. None of his songs have lyrics, and they hold more meaning than most songs that do. It's because every one of his songs tells a story. A damn good one, too.
I discovered him January 2020 age 18... Have been listening to him daily since April - im not exaggerating, every day for 5 months. Holy shit thats 5 months, time flies 😔😭
I listen to this song over and over, and yet, every time I hear the solo, I splooge in my pants. Needless to say, I go through a pack of boxers every day. Thanks Buckethead!
ok if you want to play this song, do this. half step down tuning. XXXXXx as in EADGBe is how you'll have to read this. the chord progression is, XXX087 XXX07-10 XXX08-12 XXX07-10 then the next part is X3X032h3 X2X032h3 both have hammer on/ pull offs on the high e string in the shape of a d to g transition. listen to the song for the strumming pattern. this is how i tought myself to play it, if you like these tabs,or if u just love bucket , GIVE ME A THUMBS UP!!!
i am ashamed..i ve been a buckethead fan for 4 years now and this is the first time that i listen to this masterpiece..i can't believe how i missed that..then again, BH has so many songs that i'm pretty sure no one has heard them all..:S
Buckethead , for some reason doesn't make a big deal about his music like most people do , he should though everybody should hear what real music sounds like
0:51 the sound is so good - Man What did you say? - Buckethead awesome - Man huh? - Buckethead it good picking sound is cool man - Man oh! oh! - Other man yeah! - Man Orange County California 14/05/2002 08:17am
Buckethead is the guitarist - he then records with various friends of his to fill in the other instruments. When he doesn't play bass, he gets Bootsy Collins or Les Claypool to do it, Brain and Pinchface play drums on various albums (I think), and just... people other than him sing, and so on and so forth. So I guess in some way you could call him a constantly-changing-band, I prefer to call him a solo artist.
I concur, except I rather enjoyed both those albums you disliked... the only album I really don't like that I own thus far is Bucketheadland 2, and that's only because there's too much Bucket-humor and not enough Bucket-rock :) Anyway, your description of what makes him so great is very well said... Buckethead is truly a guitar-weilding chameleon. It's good to know people with good taste still exist :D
@Bucketheadland18 unfortunatley, nope, not possible. Theres a few out of print; so while you could get them.. good luck ever finding someone who would sell them, then be able to afford it. I saw one of the original 999 in search of the... Albums on ebay a few months back. Number 5##... £500 for 1 07' special release, now imagine an 15 year old out of print album, of which i dont expect many where sold, thus remain. such a shame...
haha allright but can you manage to listen to them all ? xD I mean "In Search Of The" is like 7 hours long and pretty expensive, too :D but sure worth it =)
You're right he owns - but I wouldn't start calling him a band XD. He'd be my favorite band if he actually was, but he's not, so Dream Theater is my favorite band.
i love how there's zero dislikes in this video ah...now i bet some asshole who reads this comment is gonna hit the dislike button just to ruin it. ah well...gotta love buckethead.

Lol sure, a Buckethead fan will kill me. Look he's a great musician, but working without electronics in his music would do wonders.
