    I really like the digging example. It is more detailed than the 'Hands on Chemistry' rapid series that can be viewed in less than 1 minute.

    A chemical system is said to be at equilibrium when:
    rate forward reaction = rate reverse reaction
    No observable change
    Both directions of reactions are occurring.
    Watch the video.. They elaborated those points

    one ques, the container in which H2 and an I2 reaction take place has also air , does the presence of air in container affect the equilibrium .

      It doesn't have any air in it as it's a closed system. Remember that no matter is interacting with it if it's a closed system.
