I eat that Engine 2 stuff too. It's in line with the whole plant food no added fat diet taste wise. It's nice to have a convenient food for when I travel or don't want to cook.

Had my blood tested and my cholesterol and ldl levels were high even though I was WFPB SOS free for over a year. Wasn't until I watched your video several months ago that I realized I was in a similar situation as you. Purchased Esselstyn's book, after your recommendation and was so stoked that there was another option to get my levels down. I am not quite as healthy as you are yet but my levels have come down and I thank you so much for the information and your videos. You rock!

Same here. Just got my lipids checked and my total cholesterol is 174. I have been vegan for 1.5 years. I was so glad to find his video. Now, I need to change some things for sure.

So great to see you eat so well. Your life as a vegan is a wonderful anecdotal example of how cholesterol can be adversely affected by saturated fat. I love the vegan junk food, but it cannot trump the way whole plant foods make me feel. Be sure to scrape the avocado. The green part near the skin has a healing property according to Dr. Greger . Great video. TY!

That banana was so unripe, the sound of it peeling gave me shivers haha. Also adding stuff like cinnamon or cacao adds a lot of antioxidants to your oatmeal and also takes it next level

Great to see your progress. I'll have to try some of those Engine 2 burgers. The way you prepared that one made it look so legit. I wish you the best and glad to see you showing some different ways to eat healthy and trying some different foods based on what your health goals are. This is really a strong point for your channel man, I really do think you have the power to bring plant-based nutrition to a much broader audience and when you add in the Health Factor you can turn a lot of people away from a zombie future

I eat the Engine 2 raviolis all the time....You can throw them right in the air fryer from frozen (I do 8 minutes at 400). They come nice and crunchy on the outside and hot and perfect on the inside. I dip them in whatever sauce I'm using. They're really good this way!

Indy!! 😄😊🐻🐷🐹🐯😇 Chris, have you ever given Indy a raw head of cabbage to snack on? It is like having a ball/toy/bone textured for teeth item and meal, all at the same time! I know you said carrots are his favorite. 440 mg of sodium is extreme for a small item of food indeed!! 😱😰😵😳😬

I rarely eat processed foods, especially the mock meat products due to all the junk they put in it. Those Esselstyn pre made products seems like an awesome middleway. I live in your world at my house, doing the same thing, it's really hard. Sometimes I want to cry.i keep telling myself I'm OK. I'm eating potatoes, sweet potatoes, pinto beans, I ran out of fruit 2 days ago, but I do have applesauce cups. Life is rough. I'm making my own bread . No salt. I think I'll make tortillas with it. Aww, your doggie is a sweetheart! Did you name him because Indiana Jone's got his name from his dog?
Just wanted to share something kinda important with you (and others) about oranges. It is taught in Ayurvedic medicine (the original science of health and medicine from the Vedas) that oranges should really only be consumed early in the day. They are "gold in the morning, silver in the afternoon, and lead at night." It has to do with the processing and the digestive tract. Obviously, you're doing so many things right, but just be careful with that as a near-bedtime snack. The cherries are perfect, because they do make you sleepy!
