Every time I see the Shinsengumi kimono it screams to me enemy because of Rurouni kenshin. I would wear Kenshin's Kimono if they have the colors in the game.
Wish you did more damage like OG Ishin, combat isn’t fun when you have to rely on the special abilities. Also I hope the sword style has a speed upgrade because it’s brutally slow in the demo
are those riflemen using 50 call breech loaders? those things have massive bullets and Ryoma is just absorbing it hahahah I cannot wait to buy this game
at least you can still use the other parry that one is pretty useful if you got the time right it basically made you temporarily invincibility then you can switch to other styles to deal damage

Like a dragon ishin is a beat them up open city game or whatever you call it. This is like comparing Minecraft to goddamn Grand theft auto 5. As a straight remake of only the second game to implement styles in any way, that makes sense; Ishin was a massive experiment in many respects, from the RPG-like weapon system, the multiple levels of heat bringing to mind how 0's Gear system works, and as far as I can tell the original (not the remake) having QTEs in even its non-branching heat moves that make them do more damage.
