This boss fight is one of my favorite ones from the entire game. But I do remark this one since Sandman is my main favorite Spiderman villain and one of the most powerful ones out there. Although this may still be the same Sandman we are familiar with, as, in the comics, Flint Marko was only an alias created by William Baker to conceal his identity from his imprisoned father. Also this version of Sandman is initially different from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3 Sandman before he appeared in the MCU’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Storywise, it was lame having Mr Negative be the main villain for 2/3's of the game only to have him be all setup, no payoff. They just used him as a substitute villain while Doc Ock was turning which was clunky and unsatisfying. Then they rush through the Sinister Six who are kind of just there. It's not like they have any character arcs or anything. Except Doc Ock. Only the last 40 min really delivered when we finally focus on Doc Ock but otherwise, the story has a lot of problems which are glossed over, just like some gameplay issues. SM2's story is much more consistent. Kraven isn't just a lame substitute while you wait for Harry to become a villain like Mr. Negative was - he's a good counter to Black Suit Spider-Man and his story has a start, middle and quite an end. haha. 5 years later, we actually get some payoff for Mr. Negative. And Harry is great too - it was a good choice to make him Venom. Gameplay-wise, SM1 has slow webslinging without much depth and a lot more filler in the open world too. They even managed to make the MJ segments decent in SM2 (more like baby The Last Of Us).
6:01 he gets thrown through a building for about 3 seconds falling through thr building, and then as he exits the other side...speeds up by like 50 percent passing like 6 buildings in a single second.
Or that he was carried away by sand, he wouldn’t be lying and he’d have the sand to prove it. Him being busy with an assignment while students are being evacuated would get him into trouble

People that complain about graphic are always console players. Games for these platforms seem like a movie that plays itself. Only casually you gotta press 1 button to move the animation forward... Never heard a graphic complain from a pc gamer
I will say the web swinging realism has gone out the window. In the beginning of the video when Peter Parker was swinging around trying to avoid the attacks of sandman there were literally no buildings around him in that area yet he was swinging on webs??
Honestly the graphics sometimes look really bad, especially in the sandman sequence. Pause for a minute and look at the budding textures. Or the way the sand moves and feels and the clouds of sand. Just doesent look that good. The direction and camera movements and such are really good but let’s not kid ourselves that this really looks next gen …
