It looks hi tech and clean and all, but I can't believe that at one step they have a lady who has to grab a bundle of thin copper wires, bring their heads together, and insert a tight sleeve over them, again and again for all the bundles of a rotor, and then use regular sewing wire to make a double knot over them and cut it with a scissor like grandma prepares you lunch for school. Just how in the name of holy heck is that an actual step in a super high tech car's production process????

@@pioter-ji1bo Don't worry, the other car companies are doing just that, this is why Renault CEO announced they cannot imagine how EV prices will ever go down while Tesla and chinese brands are able to have high profit margins and drop the price when needed.

electric cars aren't as high tech as you imagine for the drive part, it's just a larger sized RC car you had when you were a kid, the rest (screens, IA, AC...) is gadgets lowering milleage/power to wheel etc... Cars were EVs before they were ICE (and they were light so they had better milleage per kwh.). you should see the smartphone and laptop factories in China, all done by hand and that's really high tech. but if you want to see a spectacular and totally robotic factory, pass tesla (they have a good but now older process setup) and go straight to Lucid, it's amazing.
