This is a really nice tutorial! I'd prolly look forward to seeing a tutorial on the topic of GUIs, although it may be too difficult. I recently got into modding myself, so it'd help a lot.
This is an extremely well done tutorial, looking forward to more videos like this. You definitely just won another subscriber, especially now that I’m looking at some of your other content. Keep up the great work!
Wow AMAZING Tuto, thank you :) And thanks for the Discord toi ;) And are you planning on making a tuto for custom GUI ? This is what I would like to make to make my mod look more professionnal.
The tutorial is actually really well made, nice job. Also maybe you could actually make a separate series about lua/programming basics with examples in sm.
i just had a survival mod idea (i know you get a lot of those) a medic block that heals the player when they hold down a button or something. something a lot faster than waiting for natural generation but not as instant as a veggie burger.
How do I add a crafting recipe to a new item I made??? I’ve been trying everything and I’m goin crazy lmao I just wanna take my mods to a survival type situation
Like a game already customized to have custom recipes? Or the standard custom game mode and thanks for being the scrap mechanic guru for some of us man
I coded whit Lua before, in Roblox Studio, so I'm happy because i will understand Scrap Mechanic Modding easier because of that =D
Same
I did too but its gonna be alot more hard probly cuz S C R A P M E C H A N I C physics :(

Likely, although I should probably learn to use some tools for it because they way I do them is not very efficient.
Now when I watched this tutorial I understand almoust all of my modding skill issues
The tutorial is actually really well made, nice job. Also maybe you could actually make a separate series about lua/programming basics with examples in sm.
I don't actually know lua. I just know how to make sm mods. But nice to hear you like the tutorial.
LUA is surprisingly simulator to JavaScript, though I just can't get used to using 'end' instead of '{}'
i do alot of coding in roblox which uses lua so i already know alot of lua coding
4:00 nice he spoke german in the video (hallo instead of hello)
not really, my pronounciation was probably off a bit
Oh ok i understood the german word so yeah

You either have to make your own craftbot, or use a custom game.
Like a game already customized to have custom recipes? Or the standard custom game mode and thanks for being the scrap mechanic guru for some of us man
you need to modify the craftbot script or survival game script.
I've always wanted to be a game developer, and modding existing games is a fairly common first step for indie devs...
well, time to make a nuke!
I hope I can help you on your journey!

Well... That could get a "bit" difficult
Comment for the algoritm.
Sadly ScrapMechanics doesn't run under linux
I play Scrap Mechanic on linux using steam proton. On same machine under Win10 i have 200% more FPS but i hate Win so much i can play in 20fps
@@koliwbr Yeah Ik it works under wine and proton but performances sucks.
