evening, Jeff. I live in Ukraine abd during the war my country had to export most of its bread, so the prices have soared by 50% and are still growing. It has been my dream for dozens of years to learn cooking cookies and bread-like products. I can see that you are passionate about cooking, and know some practical recepies. May I ask about what time this 'rising' takes? Does the smell or some other indicator tell you it has risen sufficiently?
@@English_Lessons_Pre-Int_Interm Usually 30 minutes to an hour each rise, depending how warm it is in your house. Always put it in a warm place. I like my house cool, so I put my dough inside the oven, while still off, but I turn the oven light on, which gives off the perfect amount of heat. You’re looking for your dough to double in size, then you’ll punch it down, re-knead it back to your desired shape, and let rise again, or make rolls or baguettes and let rise again. Just depends on what you’re making. Hope this helps. :))

Let rise pound down, make long roll,Let rise....add egg yolks with brush on outside of bread ,it gave a unique look, and tasted good to.
Very good video,thanks for sharing!
evening, Jeff.

When I see the first ingredient is flour, I am maybe is another one of her amazing cakes but this bread has to be good like all of your recipes; thank you so much for another one of your delicious recipes. Have a great day and many blessings to you.
We do this in Turkey, when there were no bakeries, Turks used to make their bread like this, of course, it's not that big, it's only half the size and thinner. We call it bazlama, it's great to eat with hot hot butter.
Warum sagen Türken immer wir haben die Welt erschaffen alles kommt aus der Türkei sogar das töten der Frauen !!!
My grandma made this all the time, but we called it flour bread, you nade me miss her, good memories.
Flour bread!? You couldn’t come up with a better name?
@blackdragon7803
It is my understanding that cornbread was more readily available in Europe years ago. Not everyone had access to or could afford wheat flour at the time.
My mama something very similar all the time too. She called it flour bread as well.
😍💖👍I Almost tipped over when you crunched into this wonderful bread! Thankyou for EXACTLY how you make your videos!
I love this channel so much.
Me too.... this lady is amazing
Me too. Love how the video's are basic simple and not complicated.
Zašto bih pekla u tavi,ako imam pecnicu? Osm toga,krih i peciva,pečeni u pecnici,meni su puno ukusniji.
Wow! If there's no oven around, you can still make bread! That's a winner! Thanks! 😀👍💕
Usually it is a bought loaf in the freezer section. Like the old lost ways of homemade noodles.
Put dough in oven at 2:09 for 1st rise
2:09 put the dough in the oven to rise. It said no oven!
@@tylermccluskey4278 you can keep it any warm closed area. The oven wasn't on so it's not mandatory
My mom used to make bread like that when we were small. Bring back memories watching this video. She call it pot bake bread.😋❤

Does it taste any good?
There is nothing better than home made food.
