Hi! I just adopted a persian cat. I've been brushing her everyday using my other cats' slicker brush and furminator everyday, but I can't seem to make her hair lie down. I mean, her hair sticks out of her body making her look staticky. I follow hair growth direction when I brush so I don't know why she poofs up like that. She doesn't have any mats anymore, by the way. She had them when I first got her, but I was able to brush them out.
Better try every day so he will grow accustom to it. Try to make it a loving time. Pause & pet, pause & pet, That is what I have to do. She always wants me to brush under her neck so I go back to that & then move on, then back to the neck.
I adopted a 2 year old persian golden tabby a week ago, and she already bit me once. The woman i bought her from, says I have to brush her when she is tired, and that she will try to bite when she brushes her. Im scared. She already bit me once and I only brushed her back. After a week she has a mat under her chin from the wet food, and I really dont know how to deal with it. I want to take good care of her but im in way over my head.

There is a product called ..The Stuff..that will help with static,and tangles..Amazon may carry it..Thank You .
