Absolutely agree! My only real issue is the way the paint on the legs cuts off sharply in places. Still, this is easily one of the best main line figures to date!
I like to think that The Claws on Suchomimus have Adapted to the Modern World similar in proportion to Modern Crocodilians where its First Claw Shrunk to where its More adapted as an Offensive + Defensive mechanism than to catch Giant Fish ( Since in Africa, fishes there weren't as giant as they used to be in the period of time when Suchomimus was Alive) and prey since its more terrestrial than most Spinosaurids, same with its Face where its a bit more Broder than before but still slimmer than most theropods...
I don't hate the JW Baryonyx design, but yeah, they really dropped the ball on the claw. It's not like the claw is the creature's namesake or anything... This Suchomimus looks absolutely phenomenal, though. I think it is leaps and bounds beyond what Mattel did before.
i’m pretty sure this time around they finally decided to use the actual model from the show to make this toy rather than just screw around with a mold by themselves
Width is part of the proportional aspect of a design. Same thing as length and height. "Shrink wrap" is how tightly the skin sits onto the bones, the tighter the more of the bone structure you can see.
The accuracy update seems a bit to good to be true for me. It seems like the only reason their putting in the effort to appease people who wan't them too for the sake of public perceptions, rather then because you can or to hammer home the fact that these are real dinosaurs. This feels like it's for proffet rather then pashin.
The show designers made the suchomimus’ design and Mattel’s employees made a figure of that same design. I don’t see why it’s a big deal of whether “the show designers want to appeal to ppl using accurate designs” or “Mattel wants money”. Mattel doesn’t even come into play here since the company didn’t come up with the design. Mattel’s role is just making figures with instructions given by Universal. The show designers created an accurate suchomimus because they wanted to. Think about it, they could create any other design, accurate or not, and Mattel would still make a figure of it.
@ okay I might be misunderstanding or not understanding the comment that well but why do u blame universal? I mean if they can make money and make people happy, isn’t that a good thing for both sides? Killing two birds with one stone.
Hmmm, It looks cool, but I rrally think they will make a better wotk with the tail this time, in promotional images this Sucho looked a lot, and I mean a waaaay lot better proportional lobger tail, anf now it looks a little... Don't know, short
Dude, your videos are damn informative and efficient. Keep up the brilliant work 🔥🔥⭐️⭐️😎😎💝. Merry Christmas bro.🎄🎄🎄🎄🎅🎅
Ah thanks so much! I really appreciate your comment, have a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year! 🥳 🦖🎉
Happy new year Marco 🎉❤ and thank you for pinning me it's the first time getting pinned in any channel 😂😂😂😂❤.
Hi guys 😂😂😂
Always a pleasure when Marco uploads a video, especially when its one about something positive about Mattel heh!
Absolutely agree! My only real issue is the way the paint on the legs cuts off sharply in places. Still, this is easily one of the best main line figures to date!
10:34 the battle damage albertosaurus from the dino rivals line has two scars on it's left tigh that are actually painted on wich i find really cool
Heck yea! That's cool 😎 👌I'm in love with the light blue version but I've never seen it anywhere 😢
I like how the JW Suchomimus are more scientifically accurate than most, aswel as the pachirinosaurus and majungasaurus in the jurassic world universe
Hi Marco, I´m Ruben, cool channel and reviews!
Heyy! Thanks! Love your sculpts ❤🦖
You should’ve compared it with the majungosaurus major figure it would be cool😊
I haven't gotten that one unfortunately 😕
I don't hate the JW Baryonyx design, but yeah, they really dropped the ball on the claw. It's not like the claw is the creature's namesake or anything...
This Suchomimus looks absolutely phenomenal, though. I think it is leaps and bounds beyond what Mattel did before.
Grantito has a question:
Do you prefer this design for the Suchomimus or the model for Jurassic World Evolution?
I like them both a lot. I'm not sure if I have a favourite
Thanks for the video!! See you later!! Stay safe and Merry Christmas 🎄🎁🧑🎄🌨️⛄
Merry Christmas 🎄 🦖
merry christmas marco! ☃
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 🥳 🦖🎉
I like dinosaurs 🦖
Me too 🙌
@ yipe
👍
mattel did a great job on that figure and i want it but the mattel jurassic world figures are 2 or even 3 times as expensive in my country
Why did Mattel switch to the hinge system and liftable tabs for their scan codes? What was wrong with the codes on the bottom of their feet?
Honestly I think it's easier to scan now as the tabs and codes are bigger. I think they changed them for that reason.
I recently got the Becklespinax And Baryonyx, They are pretty good figures, I recommend reviewing it!
I reviewed the becklespinax, it's lovely! I' getting the baryonyx but I have another thing planned for it lol 😜
i’m pretty sure this time around they finally decided to use the actual model from the show to make this toy rather than just screw around with a mold by themselves
Nah I can tell they definitely sculpted this themselves, they just put more effort in
I getting inpatient I want that now.
The box is cool but they made it easier to steal like, if a person walks into target with a pair of scissors this figure would be so easy to steal!
Do you ever plan to make a sculpture of him?
If there's enough interest maybe 🤔
The only part I'm disappointed is the tail... too short IMOH.
However... some work of custom painting and it will be perfect!!!
Why are u pointing out the width? Why do u want the sucho to be shrink wrapped?
Width and shrink wrap are two completely different things
Width is part of the proportional aspect of a design. Same thing as length and height. "Shrink wrap" is how tightly the skin sits onto the bones, the tighter the more of the bone structure you can see.
@k
@ I know what shrink wrap means but thx for the information srry
Bro, are you going to continue with the ETSY store, I would like to buy the legs of the t rex HC
When are you gonna make a hammond collection allosaurus review?
It's in the works, I have a cold so my voice is very stuffy atm. As soon as I get better I'll get on it again

what is pashin
@ if I didn’t spell it wrong, I think it’s the drive to make a point, tell a story, put your talents to good use. It Is Art.

@ ow I’m not blaming Mattel, I’m blaming universal with these shows, and we’ll see about rebirth
@ okay I might be misunderstanding or not understanding the comment that well but why do u blame universal? I mean if they can make money and make people happy, isn’t that a good thing for both sides? Killing two birds with one stone.
Could by perfect if not was for the tail
