The kimono is like a one size fit all and you have to wrap it to suit your own size.
Close, but not quite! Kimono do have sizes, corresponding to the height and arm length of the wearer 😉
some kimono are tailored to the wearers height, as womens kimono usually corresponds to average japanese female’s height (around 5’1-5’3) a taller lady would have a longer kimono as wearing the average kimono would go down to her calves rather than traditionally the ankle.

I'm in this situation currently. I ended up very quickly making my own hanjuban 😂 and I've been very lazy and focused only on getting the collar done since that's the really important bit! I'll tidy it up later
