@@MartonKaroly No worries its too late haha, I've only got a GH5 with the standard 12-60 so it works fine for my content, I honestly can't wait to get the hang of this thing! My only problem now is that when i connect the control cable from the RSS port to the usb port of the camera, i still cannot press the record button on the gimbal ( I also get the same menu when i connect as when you connect to your PC where you can choose PC/Storage, Tether and also some print function(is this normal?).. To me it was very unclear of where to put which cable in general, the DJI tutorials showed almost no close ups of this. Also the 'strip' used to control the focus ring is way too long for my lens so it has this annoying excess part sticking out, i don't want to cut it either in case i go for a bigger lens later, do you have any suggestions to solve my problems?
You should be able to control almost everything according to the official support site: www.dji.com/hu/mobile/support/compatibility/rsc-2/gh5 You need to connect with usb c. Check for firmware update, I needed to update the gimbal to work fully with my xt3 The focus ring, there’s no better way, either cut it (you can get cheap replacement if ever needed) or just leave it hanging there 😅 Let me know if you have any more questions, have fun with your late Xmas gift 😁 To understand which port is which I recommend the manual booklet, that’s what I used too to find out

Well, it can hold up to 3kg, that's the official tested payload, probably can hold a bit heavier too. Obviously, if you want to be super cautious, get the RS2, for me it was too expensive, but if you can afford it, definitely get the RS2 ;) Yes, the RavenEye is meant to be mounted underneath the plate, but I needed to mount it on top with this camera and lens because I couldn't balance it that way :D

Just use the hot shoe mount on the top of the camera. It’s not a 100% secure fit, it’s little bit loose but it hasn’t fallen since then, whenever I tried 😉
I just sold my DJI RSC combo pro, and I'm watching different videos on gimbals and I guess my choice will go on the DJI RS2 because of the number of features in it that makes balancing much easier than in the RSC2, What do you make of my choice?
Hey! If you can afford, definitely go with the RS2, there’s a lot more options to use that in professional filmmaking scenarios, like putting it on a car, or a crane. The pro accessories of the RS2 makes it the best choice, but be prepared to spend a lot with each accessory. For me I realized for 70% of my shoots, the RSC2 enough, and will rent the RS2 with accessories if needed rather than investing a lot of money. What balancing features you’re talking about btw? According to my knowledge balancing is the same on both
@@MartonKaroly In the RS2 one of the features on the screen show you in detail if your gimbal is properly balanced and what axis you have to move and in what direction to improve the position that's for me big progress in the balancing process. This feature is not included in the RSC2.

Hello creators, I'm gonna need some help here. As an a7iii owner by the end of this year I will upgrade to an fx6 pairing with a sigma 24-70 f2.8 dg dn. Booth rs2 and rsc2 can handle the weight but not sure which one shall I go for? I really like the rsc2 but I'm afraid the size of the camera is going to be to big. Thanks
Hey John! According to my research, it's a doable setup (FX6+Sigma 24-70 with the RSC 2. As of today however, the FX6 is not on the official camera compatibility list: www.dji.com/hu/support/compatibility My advice is to go with the RS2 to be future proof and a 100% sure it will handle all setup. With larger setups there's always a change that you need extra stuff like counterweights to properly balance that and if the setup is at the threshold than it's easy to go past it with a slight change. To be honest, It only runs for 6-7 hours, if you use a camera which can drains power, focus motor, raveneye. So if you use everything the battery runs only for 6-7 hours. About the lifespan, from 1 year of usage I've expereinced maybe a 5-10% battery capacity loss.
@@MartonKaroly great product but non removable battery is a big problem. 5-10% loss per year is big value. Have you experienced anything negative in the folding mechanism and the connection cable inside?
@@mordavian I agree, but there's no specific info though about the percentage loss It's easy to fast forward the aging, because 6 hours is not even enough for a wedding shoot in my case, so I need to recharge the middle of the day. In a lot of situations I can't charge it perfectly (start charging only at 10%) There's nothing wrong with the folding and the connection cable though, never experienced any fault with it

Nooo, which funtion it's not working? Because it has multiple options based on camera model: electronic focus, focus motor, lens electronic zoom, ISO, shutter
@@MartonKaroly Well. Iso. Aperture. electronic focus. Only recording works from the gimbal. All non-camera related functions work otherwise. So tilt,... I also don't get that information via raveneye to my phone..
Mine also started malfunctioning, actually what helped me was a full reset (everything you can reset) and using auto balance 3 times. For some reason that helped, now it’s smoother.

Nope, absolutely not! Never lock the axis before or after turning on the gimbal. When the gimbal is on, the axis should always be free!

Hello creators, I'm gonna need some help here. As an a7iii owner by the end of this year I will upgrade to an fx6 pairing with a sigma 24-70 f2.8 dg dn. Booth rs2 and rsc2 can handle the weight but not sure which one shall I go for? I really like the rsc2 but I'm afraid the size of the camera is going to be to big. Thanks
Hey John! According to my research, it's a doable setup (FX6+Sigma 24-70 with the RSC 2. As of today however, the FX6 is not on the official camera compatibility list: www.dji.com/hu/support/compatibility
My advice is to go with the RS2 to be future proof and a 100% sure it will handle all setup. With larger setups there's always a change that you need extra stuff like counterweights to properly balance that and if the setup is at the threshold than it's easy to go past it with a slight change.

What is the estimated lifetime of the batteries?
To be honest, It only runs for 6-7 hours, if you use a camera which can drains power, focus motor, raveneye. So if you use everything the battery runs only for 6-7 hours. About the lifespan, from 1 year of usage I've expereinced maybe a 5-10% battery capacity loss.
@@MartonKaroly great product but non removable battery is a big problem. 5-10% loss per year is big value. Have you experienced anything negative in the folding mechanism and the connection cable inside?
@@mordavian I agree, but there's no specific info though about the percentage loss
It's easy to fast forward the aging, because 6 hours is not even enough for a wedding shoot in my case, so I need to recharge the middle of the day. In a lot of situations I can't charge it perfectly (start charging only at 10%)
There's nothing wrong with the folding and the connection cable though, never experienced any fault with it

Nooo, which funtion it's not working? Because it has multiple options based on camera model: electronic focus, focus motor, lens electronic zoom, ISO, shutter

Mine is kinda shaky
Mine also started malfunctioning, actually what helped me was a full reset (everything you can reset) and using auto balance 3 times. For some reason that helped, now it’s smoother.
