I'm so confused. So many "Peters". Peter McKinnon. Peter Lindgren. Peter Makholm. Peter Pan. Peter Rabbit. The Peters are taking over UA-cam!!!! lol. JK. Thanks for the video.
Peter thank you for all your tips. I just received the rsc2 (bought basically new from a friend) and, based on your videos, I bought the recommended side handle ahead of time so I already had it when I received the gimbal. I'm SO thankful I did. I have a bad shoulder but, even without, I can easily see how I would have quickly fatigued and gotten discouraged trying to control it with just the built in grip and tripod. My friend shipped it with the small rig back handle and I almost returned the side handle thinking they were the same. The side grip is really comfortable and, as you describe in your videos, gives so much more control. Now I have both and I feel confident I can really learn to control it. My immediate suggestion for folks out there just getting started, do yourself a favor and get the side handle Peter recommends. I think you'll be glad you did. Again, THANK YOU!

Thank you for this video. I bought the RSC2 and I am waiting that it arrives to my home. As a UA-camr with a channel I am always wanting to improve my work. Your video has given me a lot of things to think of. Thank you. I subscribed to your channel 👍
Thank you Peter! Exactly the video I’ve been looking to find. I’ve been waiting for my local DJI store to stock the RSC2 so I could see if it could balance my S1H + S Pro 50mm. But this video answered all my questions. 🙌🏽 I’m not interested in the RS2 because I already have the Crane 3s for bigger productions and when I rig the camera out. But for light traveling and stabilizing footage on hikes, etc., the foldable design on the RSC2 looks so appealing!
Thanks for the video, great explanation!!! Quick question, which captions are the ones you are using on this video?? From motion fx, but which plug-in?? Thanks

Hey Peter I have a question I’m thinking of buying a rsc2 myself to help my music video production , I can’t find the answer anywhere so I was wondering if the Rsc2 is able to handle the Canon 90D with the original lens it comes with which is a 18 - 135 Mm lens , I looked online and it says it can support up to 6Lbs and the camera with the lens is only about 730g which is 1.609 pounds , do you think it’s okay for me to buy it ?
Thanks for your informative videos. I just ordered the RSC2. My only little concern is the non removable battery. Hopefully it will last for a few years before it is done. However, it seems to be a great gimbal based on what I have seen.
Agree - I won't buy a "professional" product with built-in batteries. I've been burned once on a wireless mic. Won't happen again. The battery is the weak link for shooting and for the life of the gear without sending it in for service. Built-in Batts are a scam.
@@michaellim4165 That shouldn't be something I have to do. I have 3 gimbals with removable batteries -- the technology exits but DJI chose not to do it. Maybe because most people will just buy another if the gimbal batts goes bad.

Amazing video Peter as always. I have a question. In rs2 there is the ability to turn off panaxis motor or roll and work only with tilt and because of this you can do some combinations. Is there the same function on rsc2 too?

Always mounting + unmounting with the Sony a6xxx series camera which have really poor battery life could be a struggle. If not, is there generally enough space under the mount to swap batteries without unmounting?

If you chose the pro package. You will get follow focus motor. Cables, side handle, phone mount and a carrying case. If you are a beginner you don't need the pro package. But if you can afford it I would buy the pro package

@@bryan4520 yeah. I’ve actually amended my opinion. The Pro is full of useless gimmicks. We never use the raven eye- PITA to setup and unless your solo operating and filming yourself. Pointless.
