Man, what a setup. Love the idea of the magnets up into the cheek pads and likely how I'll do it now so thanks for showing it! Have to mention the power bank on the back of the helmet, what a way to keep all the devices charged/powered.
I had a weird issue with Chin Mounts on my Shoei helmet where it would push up from the bottom. I switched to Moto Mounts version and I LOVE it. Have it on two of my helmets and love that mount. Thanks for the idea about the magnets.
Interesting video, where do you install the DJI receiver? Do you record the audio in the microphone itself and then edit it in post-production? MY idea is to connect the receiver to an insta360 and make a case so that water does not enter. Thank you
I like the audio setup for the helmet. But how’d you do it for this video? It was quiet so I turned up volume and then next video I watched was super loud.
I filmed this in one take with no editing using my iPhone 13 Pro Max - no external mic or manipulation of the audio or video here, just straight as the camera captured it. I was holding the phone in hand while filming so it was mostly around a foot and a half or so away from my face as I filmed and was talking here.
I don’t own a Hollyland Lark but looking at them on Amazon it looks like they have a couple of different models. The Hollyland Lark MAX appears to have on its microphone/transmitters a metal clip with a circular magnet - similar to the DJI Mic. I think any similar mic with a metal clip on the mic could work with a magnet installed into the padding of a helmet the way I have it in the video.
