Thank you! Today I ordered just the Pocket 3, as I was going to hook up my Rode Wireless Go 2 mic to it. But watching your review just now, I'll cancel my original order tomorrow, and order the 'Pocket 3 Creator Combo' instead! I was concerned that the DJI mic 2 might not sound as good as the DJI mic 1, but if anything, it might be a little better, plus version1 sounds almost as good as the Go 2. I still think the Go 2 sounds a little better than either, but I like the convenience of not having to hook up the Go 2 to the Pocket 3 with various attachments, cables, etc. Besides, if there's anything the DJI mic 2 lacks 'sound-wise', I'm sure I can tweak some EQ in Final Cut later (in post), to make it sound just as good. Oh yeah- and the DJI mic 2 is smaller than the Go 2!
Need help. You did not cover this in this video. Just got my DJI Pocket 3 and creator package. I cannot find any information regarding how to get the audio track from the Mic 1on to my micro SD card. When I pair the Mic 1 with the Pocket 3 and record audio, how can I get the audio OFF of the Mic and transferred to my storage (SD card, desktop, etc ) where I can use it in my Premiere Pro editing program? you need 2 mics to record in stereo. this is like a lapel mic. but if you want ambient sound added to your video you can record with the camera and the mic at the same time.
@@adz-ql6kv tell me how to do this? Do you need to separately record sound into the microphone without connecting it to the camera, and then synchronize it?
Will not work with Shure MVL Lav which was one of the best Lavs, cant find any information why Mic 2 doesnt as have the Mic 1 which supports and works great, looks like a converter from TRRS to TRS required for Mic 2

@@gbej1 I tested the range of the mics not the internal recording. Both mic1 and mic2 can record internal so that’s not the purpurne of my test. The mic2 has only a Bluetooth connection to the pocket 3 so it is clear that the connection of it can only last 20-50m.
Does it work the other way - Mic 2 transmitter and mic1 receiver?

Did you adjust the gain on the pocket 3?
he probably used it out of the box.
I know that mic2 work with iphone via bluetooth. Mic1 cannot work with iphone without transmitter

DJI mic 2 seems to have a deeper sound.
you can't really tell because we don't know what the gain settings are on both mics they need to match. i.e. maybe the gain is turned up on the mic 2.

No it does not work. You need a TRRS to TRS adapter for it to work with Mic 2
The range of the Mic 2 with Pocket 3 is very bad.
you can walk the distance of an entire football field until you can't see yourself anymore and it still works. who are you kidding?
The Mic 2 records onto the mic itself so it does not have to be close to the Pocket 3 so what are you on about?
