It is called hydrographics.. and it is safe for skin. Its a printed image on a film that at a certain temperature expands on the water and then you spray an activator on it so that it will stick to the part and you dip the object in and it will attract to the part. After this is done you spray the activator off with water and apply a clear coat. It is as strong as the clear coat you buy. Can last years!
Using half the film, half the activator, getting the part down in the film a little quicker and not putting so many relief cuts in a pattern that has such detailed lines so the distortion of the pattern he had won't happen and you've got a perfect piece! All the steps are there, the video is technically correct but the execution was lacking. You get the idea, though.
I thought the camouflage would come out of the spray can. that would really be cool to get spray paint to come out like that., but this is really cool to.
Roughly how big of a piece would you need for a 16inch wheel and a center cap. I was told 5 meters doesn't seem like you'd need 16 feet to do the face of a wheel and a small center cap
Good afternoon, I would like to know which products to make this service? What do I need to buy, loved and would be very happy to bring this service to the Brazil. I'm waiting.
If I have a texture polymer gun body how would the cleaning of it work? And would you have to do it twice on each side of the gun to get the rather large body done completely?
Pretty sad that they never followed up with providing the public with their products., I was just about to buy a couple of different kits. But no website available! What's up with that?
What's the temperature resistance of this? I want to use to for my cars airbox/air filter heat shield. It's away from the manifold but I would expect it to still get fairly warm.
The water does not need to be perfectly clean as long as there are not huge chunks of old film in the way. It is also deceiving because I used a clear container that has old film stuck to the sides and bottom.
If you are trying to achieve the same Professional camo results, then spray painting is much more difficult. It would require prepping, taping, stencils, and several different colors that would need to dry in between. That process could take days. Of course if you just want a hodge podge camo spray paint camo job, then this is not the right product anyway.

"Make sure the part you wanna dip is clean."
Yes, sir. Always. 😀

Brilliant video all the best
Good info, great product!
If I already have a weapon that is dipped from the manufacturer, can i use this to dip over it?
That gun strangely looks like just a box 📦 weird
Drago_710 yeah weird isn't it
Drago_710 yeah that's what I was thinking I know glocks. Look blocky but not that blocky. Glock. Haters call them blocks
Obviously didn’t spray the top coat in a well enough ventilated area when he wrote the description.
i think its the cover of a trail cam
thats how good the camo is
That is awesome is it the same kit if you were doing car parts IE wheels and other bits
6 years later and the website is still under construction lol

David Hunt You've been watching too many cartoons. But in theory that would be really cool.
David Hunt If you come up with something please let me invest, or at the least get in on the IPO !!
That is some cool stuff! Thanks for the vid.

Thank you for the video great
Can't wait to do this with my controller if I can. I gonna test it on a bottle first
Cant dip a controller in water bro
Only the covers after dissembling it.
Did it with mine, turned out great
I wonder what it was like were sprinkling water?
If I have a texture polymer gun body how would the cleaning of it work? And would you have to do it twice on each side of the gun to get the rather large body done completely?
You would have to disassemble the gun and clean only the outer parts.
How does it hold up to holster wear, heat, handling, cleaning solvents ect?
Is the shiny part of the film up? or towards the water?
can you apply the film to a weapon that has been dura coated?
Pretty sad that they never followed up with providing the public with their products., I was just about to buy a couple of different kits. But no website available! What's up with that?
Is there one for tiger stripe?
If you don't mind me asking what kinda paint do you use for this and what's under the paint water oil or what? Thank you.

Is that water dirty

Can I remove it anytime like the plasti dip??
NO. Plastidip is a rubber coating, this is PAINT
Is it available in India
Where do I get film in Realtree Xtra Brown?
does it come in more colors than camo like maybe carbon fiber or digital camo
it comes in all kinds of patterns
cool thanks
Nice video!
The water must be hot or cold?
room temp i assume if its the same as when you do swirling
googled it it's 30ºC to 34ºC
lol... i think the point is just apply the pattern, not our skin xD
? they're asking the temp needed for the water.
The water does need to be warm. There are instructions in the kit as to what the temp needs to be.
Liquidcamo12 well... i need to buy to know, right? lol
Website now good!!! how much please...
Sorry I wrote that before I seen the video ima go order this :)
Well, so how do you get these "films" or can you make you own one?
What kind of gun is that ?
Can I get RealTree Hardwoods?
How strong is the paint? Does it wear like any normal paint?
It's like a shell , it doesn't wear unless you like scrap it with a knife . It's really tough
Ditto, it is very tough. We have had it n some hunting shotguns for a few years now and the finish has held up.
you have to try to get this stuff to come off
Anyone know we’re to buy the hydro kits in Canada?
If I ever need a camo box, I know where to go.
it's really good for guns I have my shotgun dipped and it hold better that anyone else who has had theirs painted
+Noah Stuart I've been wanting to do a shotgun but I need a long tub for the barrel.
+Noah Stuart can you use this for airsoft,
Agreed!!!
