thank you so much for this video!! I've had the vivid memory of drawn to life since I lost my ds. I just found it again yesterday and have been frantically looking to the game name since I haven't played it in 10 years. thanks for helping me unlock a core memory 🔓❤
You should definitely play The World Ends With You on NDS, as it is actually the definitive version of the game as more recent versions actually removed a core gameplay mechanic, which is controling two characters at the same time (one per screen) and alternativg their attacks for combos
I just got access to this (delta coming to iOS had nothing to do with that…). I’m on day 4 and it’s SO good. If you like JRPGS, I feel like it’s a must play. There’s just Nothing like it. I’m still learning the combat (it still breaks my brain…) but I’ve gotten much better. I hear there’s a game breaking bug on the English ROM, but you can get a save file from after that point pretty readily. Also you NEED a good d-pad for the combat. Thankfully the smaller 8bitdo Bluetooth controllers are pretty cheap.
@@johnathanrhoades7751 I actually played it on Delta a couple years ago. I made a custom skin to remove the layout and enlarge the screens to cover the whole width of my iPhone. I mapped the D-Pad as giant buttons that cover the whole left half of the top screen. I would play it by holding the top of my phone with my left hand and the bottom of my ohone with my right hand so that I have access to the giant-invisible D-Pad and the touch screen with my thumbs I also had to map some other buttons like Start, Select and L, but it worked great without needing a ohysical controller c:
2006, they made Gameboy advance games, gamecube, Wii and DS at once. for instance need for speed carbon came on all those consoles in 2006. twilight princess came out on gc in 2006, while Wii has just started and got twilight princess in 2006 aswell
Dude your reviews of each entry in the video is super well described and honestly the whole video is so well together. Your commentary along with the gameplay convinced me to check out some games that I thought I would never play before you gave your opinion. Great video 👌
For those looking at this, seeing Alien Infestation and thinking ‘neat, I’ll pick it up!’, you’re going to need deep pockets. You’re looking at north of $100 most of the time.
Metroid Prime Pinball - Thank you for using the proper sized gap between the screens. Most people omit the gap completely, and it makes the junction between the two screens look really weird.
This is a really good list. You've picked interesting and unique games, unlike a lot of other similar videos that just rattle off the top sellers like Fire Emblem and whatnot. ty
The game is Alien Trilogy on PS1 & Sega Saturn. Not sure why it was shown - Was never released on DS (unless there’s a fan version available via modded DSi or something like that).
Best FPS games available on DS are (arguably) Dementium 1 & 2 (especially 2), Metroid Prime Hunters, Moon, and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3: Defiance (which is probably the best of the CoD games on DS).
You know this isnt just another person trying to make a quick video because he didn't choose very well known games. I was surprised he didn't even mention mario kart.
Sadly I have to disagree: Pokémon Ranger killed my love for the IP as a child while I was waiting for Pearl. It felt so extremely loveless not to mention pointless. For me 100% a D tier game.
This was a well made video, and I hope you find success in your channel!
Hotel dusk is a pretty unique game i recommand it
This and Another Code were always my favourite games on the nds, and ofc the world ends with you and final fantasy tactics a2
Last Window (Hotel Dusk’s sequel) is really good as well 🙂
I just reshell my old DS Lite. I will definitely be trying a couple of this.

pokemon rangers broke so many of my screens by the circles xD

4:52 my guy just casually rolling dream’s head off the world 😂
I loved Gta Chinatown wars on my ds and played like 3 times
It s on the shortlist
great list, I would also add The World Ends With You, one of the best jrpg's on the ds and really took advantage of the hardware
The music in that game is great.

Love your videos! Keep doing them!
Nice list. As someone who played his DS a lot back in the day, most of these games were unknown to me and ones that I'm actually interested in trying.
the legendary Starfy was a childhood favorite of mine.

Nice video, didn't know about metroid prime pinball.
Lots of nostalgia with the other games

Ghost Trick is so good. I played it when it came out and still think about it today.
Battles of Prince of Persia it's so underrated
Metroid Prime Pinball - Thank you for using the proper sized gap between the screens. Most people omit the gap completely, and it makes the junction between the two screens look really weird.
ghost trick is one of my favorite games on the system, right up there with 999! ❤️
Pokémon Ranger was my first ds Game. It’s fun but got quite hard in the end for a 7-8 year old boy. Sadly lost it on vacation.

All this time i have alien infestation on the DS and didn’t even know wow i know what I’m doing for the next couple days 🙏🏽
Do you know of Fossil Fighters?
I know of it, was very curious to try it. How did it play?
@@wadedewell It's kind of like Pokemon but in a good way.
Underrated. On the wishlist, but hard to find.
Small detail, but it's MEE-TEE-OS like Mete in Meteor cause the game is Meteors falling on your Planet. Great Video otherwise, solid recommends.
Yup
Nice video thank you ^^
But Chrono Trigger on DS is out of price too ToT and I looked it up american version too :(
Jump Ultimate Stars is my favorite DS game
Nice list. I like it wasn't a rehash of everyone's top 10
play Mario and luigi bowsers inside story
Picross 3D, picross ds, brain age and essential sudoku if you're into puzzles.
You should give Dementium a try!
Oh my bottom screen for sure doesn't need Pokémon ranger lmao.. That's how you scratch the hell out of your system
Bomberman land did it for me
What is that FPS game at the very end?

Dont play pokemon ranger on your 3ds !
It will break your touch sceen
good list
Elite beat agents, 999, the world ends with you, the ace attorney games…
Meteos was nice, i played the Disney version that it was more charming
You know this isnt just another person trying to make a quick video because he didn't choose very well known games. I was surprised he didn't even mention mario kart.

Honestly everyone and their grandmas knows pokemon
Sadly I have to disagree: Pokémon Ranger killed my love for the IP as a child while I was waiting for Pearl. It felt so extremely loveless not to mention pointless. For me 100% a D tier game.
I don't need any of these smh
