Thanks for yet another insightful video, Coach Lee. You're our light during dark times. In 3 days, it's supposed to be our 3rd anniversary. Although I did hear from him last Christmas, I'm choosing to fully let go of him and the relationship now. I feel like he won't ever want to get back together and it's just hard clinging to even a tiny flicker of hope. The earlier I accept it's truly over, the better for my peace of mind and sanity. On our supposed anniv, I'll be writing a "closure letter" and will burn it along w/ the everlasting rose he gave me.

One thing I would like to touch on about the improving yourself part is that not only should we do it for those reasons he stated but we should also do it because that next relationship that you're in, your next partner deserves to have the best version of yourself possible. With my relationship my ex was still broken from the day I met her and that should have been a red flag. Not even a knock on her but it's the truth

I'm finding that this is a time for me of a lot of growth. I hope that people watching this really think about that part - working on yourself as it helps anxiety to go way down. My anxiety level is now a lot lower since I'm taking my mom's advice that there could be someone else right around the next corner. Don't make them your only option. I want to do a lot of things but the omicron has made everything on hold. But I am going to go for a walk pretty soon and I've lost 8 lb so far. I gave her a space, I said I disagree with her decision, but I respect that. I'm in NC. I feel like I dated avoidant. I try to live in the present moment, but I feel anxious often.
I think she may not reach out never however - I always initiated texting. She texted me however, she knows I'm hurt and said "sorry" the day she broke up with me and recently for whatever reason.
I'm not chasing her. I am dedicated to improving myself, by setting up the new business, having new hobbies and moving to new house, and even more importantly trying to understand her needs.

When I broke up with him, he cried and even though I was dying inside, I couldn't take it anymore. You NEVER give a woman an engagement ring if you have no intentions of getting married. When I ran into him accidentally, he looked like he lost about 20 lbs, and he looked awful. He was with his rebound, and totally ignored me. I acted like I didn't see him looking at me, and I just kept walking. He married her immediately. I'm fine now, but I went thru he'll. Thanks to you, Lee, I feel like a new person. BTW, neither one of us begged or pleaded for another chance. I know I was used, I just didn't see it coming....

Hi coach lee, me and my partner have been together 4 years next month.. we lived together for 10 months and had a big row over finances, we split and then got back together for 3 weeks, he was saying things like “we are meant for each other” and “I didn’t worry about getting back together as I knew it would happen sooner or later as we are made for each other” he called me out of the blue and said “I’m sad with myself and don’t think I will get better but I love you more than anything” it’s been 3 weeks with no contact and have heard nothing as I wanted to give him space. Well, since the breakup early December, I've been through different stages and started watching your videos by the end of January when I started NC. I think I should have listened more carefully to your advices because when she reached out 2 months later, I totally freaked out and did every possible things that you don't recommend doing. Last time she talked to me was April 21st and said "Be realistic, get a grip and forget about me" after saying that there will be no second chance. Haven't heard from her since, don't see her online on WhatsApp anymore, she didn't even read my two last messages (pictures) so I suppose she's gone forever now. 4 1/2 months since she left after a 2 yr LDR and moved closer when poof gone. I love and miss her but I have been in nc and broke it a couple of times. I begged cried all the no no’s and today I just said f it I look too good and value myself too much for someone to walk out. Not my loss and I wish things were different but you will never ask too much from the right person and I'm low maintenance but when trust is broken it's hard to gain back. My ex ended things because of massive jealousy issues and trust issues she has. Even though I’ve never had eyes for anyone else while I was with her, even seeing girls commenting on my Instagram posts would drive her crazy. She says she’s not ready for a relationship, and blocked me on Instagram and we haven’t spoken in weeks now. Towards the end, I got super clingy because I really wanted to show her I only wanted her. It will hurt months and months later when you think about them and how they didn't wish you a merry Christmas, a Happy new year, etc. His methods are so you work on yourself- and if they come back, they come back. Don't get your hopes up unless you have mutual friends, live in the same vicinity where you would bump into each other. My ex and I were an hour apart-- no mutual friends.

Hey Coach Lee or guys over here. My ex broke up with me due to absurd reasons 3 months ago. I did all those mistakes in the beginning, after 2 months of meeting and talking about it i stayed in no contact for about a month. I texted her on new years eve we talked like nothing happened, it was a really nice conversation. after NC for two months he told me Happy New Year. I replied dry and kind. and then I found out today, hes with a rebound(been with for 3 weeks) & he said hes serious with and that shes a good woman.. I also found out today that they got into a really bad car accident and are in the hospital. You have pretty much answered your own questions. It's OK to be concerned but I wouldn't reach out if not for any other reason than to avoid getting his buddy in trouble. But don't worry...i'm sure he knows his best friend will put it out there and then he will HOPE that you do reach out to him so he can feel that you still care. Can you do a video that provides advice for getting an ex back in long distance situations? I've been in no contact with my LDR ex for an entire year now and I notice she's giving lots of bread crumbs on her social media posts and watches all of my instagram stories. She posts many things that have songs about missing someone in a break up and wishing they could get them back.
He already explained that in this very video about "bread crumbs." Don't fall for it. If she truly wants to speak with you, she'll message you directly (as she should be). I expect my ex-fiancé to do the same. If she wants to speak with me, my phone number is always open 24/7. No excuses. Otherwise, I'm slowly ready to move on and work on improving myself.

That’s not even enough time! As a dumper, do not contact us! If we want you back, we’ll come back! It’s annoying! We know the game you play, “wait 30 days”…we dread that day! Our breakup was vague. Like it gradually happened. Due to my depression and me being toxic (because I was very depressed at the time due to I was doing a PhD). We broke up but still staying at the same house (and still acting like couples). He said he wanted to be alone but his actions were the opposite. He recently went into a rebound. I am now in another country but am going back to that house again in 2 months (My stuff is still there and it's under both our names). @@Varjaatyt I've got a little advice for you all. You know when exactly is your ex going to reach out? The day you'll totally forget his/her existence, and by then you won't want him/her back. It's just the way it happened to me. Just carry on with your lives, that's the whole purpose of no contact, forget about him/her. Nobody is worth your precious time thrown away like that.

left it there, and I've been in NC for a week. We did break up very briefly a month before, I did NC then, and she came back after only 3 days...though I could feel it wasn't permanent that time. this time feels more final, which is why hurts so much more.

Crazy coach Lee got my ex steady texting me and calling to check up on me when I stop contacting her been a week now she unblock me on social media and reaching out to check up on me
She pulled away and I gave her space the same day she acted distanced (I didn't talk to her why she pulled away etc), she always was the one to text me first. We work together, very close. It's been almost 4 months. She still kept texting me first from time to time. But she never touches me anymore since then maybe like 10 times(gently touch). Now we don't even talk to each other. 9:30 this is the reason why i ignored her text after a month of no contact from her & mutual friends. it felt like a "breadcrumb" to see how or if i would respond. after ignoring my texts & a month of me going no contact, she texted me to say: "please call (mutual friend) they're worried sick" i wanted her to contact me to let me know that SHE cared, not some other mutual friend. so i ignored it. i have not contacted the mutual friend or anyone in our mutual circle in 2 months. had she asked me how i was doing herself, as opposed to texting on someone else's behalf, i would've responded. did i do the right thing or no?

Can you do a video about when your ex doesn’t really want to break up but feel like they have to? I got broken up with about three weeks ago and last night we kinda talked about it all. I didn’t bring it up, it just kinda happened because she was over at the house we rent together (she’s been staying at a friends house since the break up). She broke up with me because her life is too stressful with working 50 hours a week on top of being a full time masters student. By the time she was able to be with me, she had no strength left for our relationship. She had to do something to relieve some stress and losing our relationship was the best option because she can’t quit her job right now and she can’t quit school obviously. She’s beyond stressed and she told me she still loves me and she misses me and misses having me as her safety net and having me by her side for everything. But she also said that things have been a little easier since the break up even though she didn’t want to do it really. I told her I respect that and I don’t blame her for that, she needs to do what is best for her and her health. She said she likes knowing that I’m still here for her and honestly I don’t know how to proceed. Obviously I want her back but I think the timing just isn’t right. And I don’t want to mess up my chances by being too much of a friend for her, but at the same time I want to do everything I can to help her because I care about her and I want to see her happy and not so broken down

Everything about our relationship was beautiful. Communication, in bed, talked about business, understood each other, happy, laughter everything was good but people use to tell her black men a no good.
After 3 months she came back. We talked about getting back together but she couldn’t get over her friends, coworkers and family having an issue because I’m a black man. She told me I treated her much better than other men. Those from her own race.

I've been in no contact for over a month and yesterday she actually reached out to wish me a happy birthday. I told her that I appreciate it and afterwards she started a conversation asking how I am and stuff. We talked a little until she went to sleep. I told her that I am doing fine and gave some little details about my process of improving and healing (exercising routine etc.). She was happy for me and explained her situation. Since I broadly know the circumstances in her life (she still talked to my mother + we didn't unfollow each other on social media) I really got the feeling that she somehow was exaggerating to proof something to me. Nevertheless she didn't tell me that she was missing me or some like that. I am so confused. Should I just go back to no contact, is it even working or was she just trying to be polite?
If she didn't bring up the relationship thing with you, then it's probably that she was just being polite. At least that's how I look based on what you say. I'd just keep it cool and stay in No Contact rules if I were in your shoes.

So what if you broke all these rules already but you’re back in no contact day 91 for the third time since the breakup in 2019. I must be stupid still actively counting my no contact days after all these years.

He broke up with me December 15th for not being a good “fit”, but really because of my emotional reactions. We broke up amicably and I asked him to reconsider. He was texting me every day afterwards. I asked him to meet in person a month later since we broke up long distance on FaceTime. He had me come out to his parents for 4 days. Hi there!I met this Spanish girl in Australia and we spent all of our times together for nearly 2 years. I had to return home due to my visa ending. We stayed in a LDR for 4 months. During those 4 months I became a little needy and insecure. We always talked about her moving to Canada (where I live) she agreed but I kept being pushy and I kept asking her about when she'll look into visas and so on. Coach lee, my ex and I broke up due to long distance because we had back to back study abroad semesters. She said she wants to see me again when she returns to the USA, but only to return my things. How can I still possibly facilitate a proper face to face? She returns in 4 months, is that enough time for her to change her mind and open up to a more casual face to face rather than an item exchange?
