Once a JW lady kept coming to my home leaving booklets. Asked to speak with me. She would come almost every other day. After praying for her God led me to ask her. "Do you know where you will go after you die? She looked at me thinking about that. I told her I don't want to live my life and work so hard for a religion that cannot secure my afterlife. Then she started talking about the 144,000. Then I told her I believe that Jesus came to set me free and give me eternal life. His love saved me. And His sacrifice for me and you his salvation he gives it freely for you if you want it. Then I asked her do you think you will go to heaven with the Father if you are chosen as the 144,000? Because there are 8.7 million JWs worldwide. But after Jehovah chooses his 144,000 and you don't make the cut. What happens to the rest of the people. Then all your beliefs, and witnessing and financial giving to the JW was in vain. How would you feel that you're out here in the streets almost every day and you work hard to make it to heaven but you're not chosen to be one of the 144,000. I told her Jesus died and rise again for every single human being. She cried she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

As an exJW (10 months out!) I want to thank you for your kindness in speaking to these witnesses. Your grace and seriousness in educating is commendable. People like you in the ministry planted little seeds for me to later see I was rejecting Christ with my JW beliefs/indoctrination.
I'm not JW but 100% believe they are on the right track when it comes to the Sonship of Jesus. I was enlightened to understand that I was rejecting Jesus when I believed in the Trinity. I'm not Catholic, so WHY was I fighting so hard to accept a teaching that would deny that Jesus is the only Begotten Son of God. The Trinity says Jesus is no Son. The Trinity/Triune God says the Father and Son could easily swap seats and are only playing an interchangeable role... this is a heresy that robs Christ of His connection and service of humble devotion to His Father. Trinity says that we can NEVER relate to Jesus... but the Bible shows that Jesus being the Son made equal to His Father can relate to our expression of gratitude for all we have. The same gratitude in our hearts, resides in Jesus as the Begotten Son of God.

In order to fix the apparent problem with their false gospel they start claiming Jesus became the Son when He was born of Mary, yet we see He was the Son in the fiery furnace.. they claim He is just the Son by title, yet Jesus Himself states He was "brought forth" from His "Father". A Trinitarian worships a false god who never did have a Son.. I worship the God who had the ONLY Begotten Son.. those who deny Jesus is the Son are anti-christ. Trinitarian Catholics deny Jesus is the actual Son of God.. go ask someone in church with knowledge and you'll see you're fellowship is with them who deny the Sonship of Jesus, who was given EVERYTHING that He has from His Father.. I was raised a JW, I left home before 16, but believed.🤦🏻♀️ I am a Christian now, and at first struggled with trinity, until I used a real Bible, and prayed each time I researched scriptures.
Prayer before study is KEY! Good on you for doing that! I was in same boat - raised JW, decided against it around 16, tossed out of home at 17 to live w/ cousin. Tried JW again later in life, couldn't make their doctrine right in my head. Thankfully I was never baptized, otherwise my family would not have anything to do with me today. As things are now, Yah has opened a window in the past couple of years, giving an opportunity to speak truth with them. I pray I can plant the seed properly.
As a outside salesman. You killed it. The natural student the humble Muslim is. You take that to Christianity. Amazing job. One of the first steps to me leaving the JWs was talking to people at the door. Most JWs will walk away in the middle, but when i started pioneering and trying to make Bible studies, I was more open to conversations like these. We were taught as JWs that Christians dont know their Bibles, but i started to find that many really did and those conversations started to add up and change how i approached people at the door and even my relationship with Jesus. Jws (at least the rank and file) really do love learning about the Bible. And, in the beginning they are given all this information that feels like they are learning new things, only that has sort of a wall you hit, where you're given the same things over and over and as some of that stagnates with your own internal questions, the Watchtower will definitely clamp down on your growth. As my beliefs started to grow, the congregation tried to push those down and it felt very much like they were trying to sever my personal relationship with God. It was an interesting time for me to find that an open door goes both ways. It humbled me. Im always grateful to the people who take the time to not just talk to JWs but engage with them in the Bible in ways they aren't used to. It shows them Christian love that they are convinced doesn't exist outside their religion.
I worked with two jw. They would control the conversation. I recall bringing something up once- he replied-'...wow! ... I've never thought of that!... I'll check into that. But let's get back to the sub ject we were talking about...' (and he never came back about my thought which I brought up to him. And the bad thing is I forgot whatever it even was.)
@@user-sn8gh2vs1p that's how they're trained... to deflect and drop the subject, but there's always a few in the pool who will genuinely try to have a conversation. I was talking to someone the other day and we agreed that often in seems the difference is, those who were born-in, versus those who choose the religion. The loss is harder to calculate with people who join into it, because they sacrifice their friends and family to be in it. Whereas born ins have been given only one narrative, and as they grow up they start to see that it's not the only one.

I will say that there is always a difference in how they treat Bible studies versus members and information they don't freely give on their opinion of "worldly" people until you begin to take steps to become an actual member. There is hypocrisy in every religion, JWs not discluded, but I'm not bitter about how I was raised since it gave me a better appreciation as an adult for traditions and the meaning of family. Unfortunately, that was because I raised my own children differently. Jehovah in JW terms "hates" people who aren't JWs. They are chosen for destruction. My experience was to find love in Christ and his teachings and reflect that onto all people bereft of their beliefs and traditions. Paul says in Acts, to 'not allow thing like traditions to divide and judge each other by'. I personally reject any belief that calls people "chosen" over others. That's for God to decide, not for us to divide each other by. I truly love the brothers and sisters, but I do not share their beliefs. I believe they want to do good by people, but they've followed leaders who've put themselves in divine positions, instead and in place of Jesus. That is my main issue.

@@Chibis417 Very well said. As an ex-JW myself, I couldn't agree much more. The "rank and file" are good folks who have an honest desire to learn and share what the "knowledge" they've gained. Their heart is certainly in the right place. However, if you're one of those people who question things, the "leadership" starts to frown on you ever increasingly. To your point about being born into it vs coming into it from the outside world, a lot gets torn away from you if your born into it. I would say as much, if not moreso...for the simple fact of how they're told to treat folks that are not JWs (bad association and all that) and also the fact that your whole family are JWs, you stand a really good chance of being ostracized from everyone and everything you've grown to know and love. I was lucky in that regard because I was never baptized. For those who were, and then walk away, their future with their family is much more tentative. May Yah bless and keep you brother.

Let go of your precondition for what God is or can be. Remember, this is a being that exists outside of time. He exists in the past present and future. You cannot box a being like that into our preconceptions of what He 'is'.
JW came to my door years ago. JW don't believe in a burning hell. She explained to me, as she observed my toddler,that I as a Mother would not punish my daughter's disobedience by putting her hand on a hot stove burner, and God wouldn't punish His children with hell fire. Her logic. That's not Biblical. Read the truth in your Bible. I told her when I cook & the burners are on, I tell my daughter not to touch the burners and if she disobeys she's gonna get burned. Same thing with God. His Word instructs us how to escape eternal hell.Obedience to The Word Of God. And we can obey or not with our freewill, freewill because God loves us & doesn't force us to obey Him.Our Choice. JW lady left speechless.

Well I guess you do more home work on Jesus if you are a trinity believer then just check revelation 3 v 14 that is Jesus talking and he says that he is the beginning of the creation of God so that to me says that Jesus has not all ways excited
@@michaelhaigh9182 the word beginning there is ache in Greek. It means “originating source or cause.” Where we get the word architect. And we know he is the originator and the source of all creation. Also can mean “chief”, where we get the time arche-angel. And we also know Jesus is the chief of all of God’s creation. Many translations say here “the originator or Gods creation” “the origin of Gods creation” “the ruler of Gods creation” etc. it is good to look at the Greek and also study other translations to broaden our understanding💕

What I've found with JW's is when they can't answer they want to bring an elder to help answer. Then after that they just tell them to not talk to people like this guy anymore.
As a former JW, I can honestly attest that most people they meet "out in service" (what they call it when they come to your door), are not that well versed in the Bible. It becomes obvious when they meet someone who is, like yourself, and they get tripped up. Your knowledge of the Bible is more than they have encountered before, even giving them credit for the difficulty in translation. The Holy Spirit is truly with you brother. Yah Bless!
Knowledge of the Bible and the ability to perform linguistic gymnastics does not guarantee a full understanding of the passages being quoted. Humans turned The Holy Spirit into a singular Being and Christ into God around the 4th & 5th century. Luckily for us the Apostle Paul regarded The Holy Spirit as a class of multiple beings and maintains that position throughout his writings. When we send for the Doctor we do not summons the only doctor in the whole world - he is one of many. It is the same with the Holy Spirit - one of countless ministering angels provided by God to guide humans through their earth journey.
Most are not well versed. And I feel one could attend the 'local church' their whole lives and the complete bible was never taught to them. They never heard every verse. Am I wrong?
@@Adam.Rushing I will say most people I am kin to, know, have worked around, whom say they are christian do not study the scripture. And as example noone except my mom when I was very young, or my wife has mentioned Jesus to me, and she brought up to me that even her own family members including the ones that are in their church every sunday, have ever mentioned Jesus to her. There is a major problem.

@@tongakhan230 The JW's were just making their rounds. Who knows how they happened to be in that exact neighborhood and stopped at that individual house. Perhaps God had an influence which lead them there. You quoted Matthew 10:14..... you do realize that Jesus was telling his disciples that when they go out to spread the word, that if they meet total opposition, they should just leave (because those people's minds are closed and lost). The couple in this video actually stayed and listened instead of just brushing him off.

Years ago I was told that if a JW came to my door to say that I believe in The Holy Spirit and they would leave without a word and believe it or not, they left without saying one word.

I told these JW that came to my door that the Holy Spirit empowers and enables me to live a godly life, I also told them that the Bible is sufficient for me and I study it under the guidance of the Holy Spirit when they referred me to their website. They looked at me crazy

Sorry for the interruption here. Let us not be confused and stay with the Bible. Lets do more diligent research and scholary studies and come correct. The message of the scripture is clear to this end; God is not a trinity but rather Spirit, and can do whatever he wants. At one point he will be creator and never ceased from being the creator of all. On the other he can become one of his creation and bring deliverance from sin to mankind. He is already Holy and Spirit so he is Holy "Spirit", since we cannot see him. There is no "trinity" in the Bible. I know it sounds like a false doctrine. Trinity is not even in the Bible. Don't be misled folks. That Trinitarian Doctrine was never a part of the Early Church. The Jews would never condone such erroneous teaching since Deut. 6:4 remains. This thought came Bout after the scattering of the early believers where Roman influence took over and infiltrated the common belief in the Church. By this, Romans integrated their previously held beliefs without totally surrendering to Jewish practices. They kept the Roman Grecco as well as Roman Nubian (Afrikan) Theology and worshipping of multiple deities. Check out the fusion of deities in their culture. It mostly resembles and identical to the false teaching that has propagated the Church for centuries.

Rome never gave up their type of worshipping in polytheistic modes, all they did was mirror their gods with Christian thought since the Greeks always seek after wisdom. @@tongakhan230 Jesus is the word of God. It's not 2 different gods. God sent his word into human form on earth. Previously the only way to have sin forgiven was to sacrifice an animal. However, through the Word of God, he sent his son (which is his word) so that HIS blood would replace the blood of animals used for forgiveness. The only thing possible to cover all that blood is by God himself.

They both know the bible, they just understand it differently. I've never been a believer. I am now, but because so many different religions rooted from that same scripture, I decided to read by myself, without help or interpretation. Just menand the words of God. I'm curious what my conclusion will be when done. I'll reread it several times, different editions.
So hard for them to accept that the Holy Spirit is a person, despite John 14. As soon as they do all of their man-made doctrines fall apart. We need to pray for these devout but misled people, in Jesus name. 🙏
@@jimjuri6490 John 16 7 is a better verse. But the Holy Spirit brings us comfort, He is our teacher, He can mourn. He can intercept in our prayers when we are groaning, not knowing what to pray. He was with God and Jesus Christ at creation. It was through Holy Spirit that Mary miraculously conceived Jesus as a virgin. He descended on Jesus in the form of a dove at Jesus baptism; many verses too numerous to mention. He was sent to earth to the disciples by Jesus instead of Him after Jesus ascension. So very many verses; how could you possibly doubt?

He came, took on human flesh, to bring us closer to Himself. To God. He glorified the Father like Father glorified the Son, and the Holy Spirit bares witness, to us believers, and we all should glorify all of them. Holy Spirit convicts us and leads to Jesus.

What an excellent testimony before JW! The saddest part is that these people refuse to see the truth to be able to defend their beliefs. They have this veil over their minds and hearts and will not admit the truth so plainly stated throughout the Bible regarding the identity of Jehova. And the reality is that that veil can only be lifted when they finally receive Jehova Jesus as their Savior. 2 Corinthians 3:13-17. Thank you sooo much for this video. Awesome video as always. Something that can help for the next time is to show them john 16 in their own bible. Cause in John 14 in their bible, the Holy Spirit is addressed as " it," but in John 16, it is adressed as " He."
@tongakhan230 yes and after the spirit is poured what will the spirit do ? The spirit will convict you of sin ( john 16 : 9 ) And if you sin, you will grieve the spirit. ( Ephesians 4 : 29 to 32 ) Can you grieve a boat or a perdon ? ( using your own example )
I once talked to someone who got entangled into jw. He had a lot of questions about the Holy Bible. I used my Bible and scripture to answer his questions. Its important to never just give your opinion about how salvation works...but ALWAYS show scripture as your answer. After I answered as many of his questions as I could i brought my minister in to help him. They met at my friends farm and sat on his porch swing. They worked together repairing fence while they talked. He was eventually baptized. Sadly, a couple of weeks later he committed suicide. He had severe mental health isdues and childhood traumas. I pray that he is saved. I dont know how it works when a new Christian has terrible traumas and ends their life. He did hear the Gospel, believed, repented and was baptized.
Unfortunately one that commits suicide is not saved because the only one that can take and give life is God and you “play God” by taking your own life you condemned yourself. For example Judas, he regretted betraying Jesus, but committed suicide. Unfortunately he is not saved due to that act. Maybe that was a way of God trying to get him out of that state but his faith didn’t grow stronger, remember. The race is only won when you finish it, so all that matters is how you finish it but now how you start! God bless 🙏🏽

Once a JW lady kept coming to my home leaving booklets. Asked to speak with me. She would come almost every other day. After praying for her God led me to ask her. "Do you know where you will go after you die? She looked at me thinking about that. I told her I don't want to live my life and work so hard for a religion that cannot secure my afterlife. Then she started talking about the 144,000. Then I told her I believe that Jesus came to set me free and give me eternal life. His love saved me. And His sacrifice for me and you his salvation he gives it freely for you if you want it. Then I asked her do you think you will go to heaven with the Father if you are chosen as the 144,000? Because there are 8.7 million JWs worldwide. But after Jehovah chooses his 144,000 and you don't make the cut. What happens to the rest of the people. Then all your beliefs, and witnessing and financial giving to the JW was in vain. How would you feel that you're out here in the streets almost every day and you work hard to make it to heaven but you're not chosen to be one of the 144,000. I told her Jesus died and rise again for every single human being. She cried she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Amazing, but they still believe if their not one of the 144,000 they will live for ever in the renewed earth. Did she told u that?

As an exJW (10 months out!) I want to thank you for your kindness in speaking to these witnesses. Your grace and seriousness in educating is commendable. People like you in the ministry planted little seeds for me to later see I was rejecting Christ with my JW beliefs/indoctrination.
I'm not JW but 100% believe they are on the right track when it comes to the Sonship of Jesus. I was enlightened to understand that I was rejecting Jesus when I believed in the Trinity. I'm not Catholic, so WHY was I fighting so hard to accept a teaching that would deny that Jesus is the only Begotten Son of God. The Trinity says Jesus is no Son. The Trinity/Triune God says the Father and Son could easily swap seats and are only playing an interchangeable role... this is a heresy that robs Christ of His connection and service of humble devotion to His Father. Trinity says that we can NEVER relate to Jesus... but the Bible shows that Jesus being the Son made equal to His Father can relate to our expression of gratitude for all we have. The same gratitude in our hearts, resides in Jesus as the Begotten Son of God.

I was in same boat - raised JW, decided against it around 16, tossed out of home at 17 to live w/ cousin. Tried JW again later in life, couldn't make their doctrine right in my head. Thankfully I was never baptized, otherwise my family would not have anything to do with me today. As things are now, Yah has opened a window in the past couple of years, giving an opportunity to speak truth with them. I pray I can plant the seed properly.

One of the first steps to me leaving the JWs was talking to people at the door. Most JWs will walk away in the middle, but when i started pioneering and trying to make Bible studies, I was more open to conversations like these. We were taught as JWs that Christians dont know their Bibles, but i started to find that many really did and those conversations started to add up and change how i approached people at the door and even my relationship with Jesus. Jws (at least the rank and file) really do love learning about the Bible. And, in the beginning they are given all this information that feels like they are learning new things, only that has sort of a wall you hit, where you're given the same things over and over and as some of that stagnates with your own internal questions, the Watchtower will definitely clamp down on your growth. As my beliefs started to grow, the congregation tried to push those down and it felt very much like they were trying to sever my personal relationship with God. It was an interesting time for me to find that an open door goes both ways. It humbled me. Im always grateful to the people who take the time to not just talk to JWs but engage with them in the Bible in ways they aren't used to. It shows them Christian love that they are convinced doesn't exist outside their religion.
I worked with two jw. They would control the conversation. I recall bringing something up once- he replied-'...wow! ... I've never thought of that!... I'll check into that. But let's get back to the sub ject we were talking about...' (and he never came back about my thought which I brought up to him. And the bad thing is I forgot whatever it even was.)
@@user-sn8gh2vs1p that's how they're trained... to deflect and drop the subject, but there's always a few in the pool who will genuinely try to have a conversation. I was talking to someone the other day and we agreed that often in seems the difference is, those who were born-in, versus those who choose the religion. The loss is harder to calculate with people who join into it, because they sacrifice their friends and family to be in it. Whereas born ins have been given only one narrative, and as they grow up they start to see that it's not the only one.

I will say that there is always a difference in how they treat Bible studies versus members and information they don't freely give on their opinion of "worldly" people until you begin to take steps to become an actual member. There is hypocrisy in every religion, JWs not discluded, but I'm not bitter about how I was raised since it gave me a better appreciation as an adult for traditions and the meaning of family. Unfortunately, that was because I raised my own children differently. Jehovah in JW terms "hates" people who aren't JWs. They are chosen for destruction. My experience was to find love in Christ and his teachings and reflect that onto all people bereft of their beliefs and traditions. Paul says in Acts, to 'not allow thing like traditions to divide and judge each other by'. I personally reject any belief that calls people "chosen" over others. That's for God to decide, not for us to divide each other by. I truly love the brothers and sisters, but I do not share their beliefs. I believe they want to do good by people, but they've followed leaders who've put themselves in divine positions, instead and in place of Jesus. That is my main issue.

@@Chibis417 Very well said. As an ex-JW myself, I couldn't agree much more. The "rank and file" are good folks who have an honest desire to learn and share what the "knowledge" they've gained. Their heart is certainly in the right place.
However, if you're one of those people who question things, the "leadership" starts to frown on you ever increasingly.
To your point about being born into it vs coming into it from the outside world, a lot gets torn away from you if your born into it. I would say as much, if not moreso...for the simple fact of how they're told to treat folks that are not JWs (bad association and all that) and also the fact that your whole family are JWs, you stand a really good chance of being ostracized from everyone and everything you've grown to know and love.
I was lucky in that regard because I was never baptized. For those who were, and then walk away, their future with their family is much more tentative.

JW came to my door years ago. JW don't believe in a burning hell. She explained to me, as she observed my toddler,that I as a Mother would not punish my daughter's disobedience by putting her hand on a hot stove burner, and God wouldn't punish His children with hell fire. Her logic. That's not Biblical. Read the truth in your Bible. I told her when I cook & the burners are on, I tell my daughter not to touch the burners and if she disobeys she's gonna get burned. Same thing with God. His Word instructs us how to escape eternal hell.Obedience to The Word Of God. And we can obey or not with our freewill, freewill because God loves us & doesn't force us to obey Him.Our Choice. JW lady left speechless.

Also can mean “chief”, where we get the time arche-angel. And we also know Jesus is the chief of all of God’s creation. Many translations say here “the originator or Gods creation” “the origin of Gods creation” “the ruler of Gods creation” etc. it is good to look at the Greek and also study other translations to broaden our understanding💕

As a former JW, I can honestly attest that most people they meet "out in service" (what they call it when they come to your door), are not that well versed in the Bible. It becomes obvious when they meet someone who is, like yourself, and they get tripped up.
Your knowledge of the Bible is more than they have encountered before, even giving them credit for the difficulty in translation.

Knowledge of the Bible and the ability to perform linguistic gymnastics does not guarantee a full understanding of the passages being quoted. Humans turned The Holy Spirit into a singular Being and Christ into God around the 4th & 5th century. Luckily for us the Apostle Paul regarded The Holy Spirit as a class of multiple beings and maintains that position throughout his writings. When we send for the Doctor we do not summons the only doctor in the whole world - he is one of many. It is the same with the Holy Spirit - one of countless ministering angels provided by God to guide humans through their earth journey.
Most are not well versed. And I feel one could attend the 'local church' their whole lives and the complete bible was never taught to them. They never heard every verse. Am I wrong?

You quoted Matthew 10:14..... you do realize that Jesus was telling his disciples that when they go out to spread the word, that if they meet total opposition, they should just leave (because those people's minds are closed and lost). The couple in this video actually stayed and listened instead of just brushing him off.

Years ago I was told that if a JW came to my door to say that I believe in The Holy Spirit and they would leave without a word and believe it or not, they left without saying one word.

I told these JW that came to my door that the Holy Spirit empowers and enables me to live a godly life, I also told them that the Bible is sufficient for me and I study it under the guidance of the Holy Spirit when they referred me to their website. They looked at me crazy

The message of the scripture is clear to this end; God is not a trinity but rather Spirit, and can do whatever he wants.
At one point he will be creator and never ceased from being the creator of all.
On the other he can become one of his creation and bring deliverance from sin to mankind.
He is already Holy and Spirit so he is Holy "Spirit", since we cannot see him.
There is no "trinity" in the Bible.

God sent his word into human form on earth. Previously the only way to have sin forgiven was to sacrifice an animal. However, through the Word of God, he sent his son (which is his word) so that HIS blood would replace the blood of animals used for forgiveness. They both know the bible, they just understand it differently. I've never been a believer. I am now, but because so many different religions rooted from that same scripture, I decided to read by myself, without help or interpretation. Just menand the words of God. I'm curious what my conclusion will be when done. I'll reread it several times, different editions.
So hard for them to accept that the Holy Spirit is a person, despite John 14. As soon as they do all of their man-made doctrines fall apart. We need to pray for these devout but misled people, in Jesus name. 🙏

What an excellent testimony before JW! The saddest part is that these people refuse to see the truth to be able to defend their beliefs. They have this veil over their minds and hearts and will not admit the truth so plainly stated throughout the Bible regarding the identity of Jehova. Cause in John 14 in their bible, the Holy Spirit is addressed as " it," but in John 16, it is adressed as " He."

I once talked to someone who got entangled into jw. He had a lot of questions about the Holy Bible. I used my Bible and scripture to answer his questions.
Its important to never just give your opinion about how salvation works...but ALWAYS show scripture as your answer.
After I answered as many of his questions as I could i brought my minister in to help him. They met at my friends farm and sat on his porch swing. They worked together repairing fence while they talked. He was eventually baptized.
Sadly, a couple of weeks later he committed suicide. He had severe mental health isdues and childhood traumas.
I pray that he is saved. I dont know how it works when a new Christian has terrible traumas and ends their life. He did hear the Gospel, believed, repented and was baptized.
Unfortunately one that commits suicide is not saved because the only one that can take and give life is God and you “play God” by taking your own life you condemned yourself.
For example Judas, he regretted betraying Jesus, but committed suicide. Unfortunately he is not saved due to that act.
Maybe that was a way of God trying to get him out of that state but his faith didn’t grow stronger, remember. The race is only won when you finish it, so all that matters is how you finish it but now how you start!
