- If the god of the Quran "Allah" is "all-knowing", then why did he not define the trinity accurately? In multiple places in the Quran, Allah fallaciously assumes that God the Father needed a wife in order to physically procreate an offspring (i.e. Jesus) - See Surah 72:3, 2:116, Surah 112:3, and Surah 6:101. This is not only blasphemous according to the Bible but also proves the Quran is false.

I had a pleasant conversation with a Muslim woman who had some questions about the trinity.
I decided to upload this video because I believe our conversation could benefit and help other Muslims as well.
Obviously, this is not a full explanation on the triune nature of God. In real life conversations, each person can only share and express so much.

I always found the easiest way to explain triuninty is for people tonlook at themselves. 1. God, the Son and the Holy Spirit fellowship together and the outpouring of their love produced us. 2. People are made up of Body, Soul and Spirit. If you separate one from the other it is no longer human. Same thing with the Trinity. This is why in the beginning He said "let us create them in Our image". We are just like the trinity (in image not in nature).
Yeah, even nature is replete with the image of God - Water is one in essence but 3 in states - solid, liquid and gas; the egg comprises the shell, the white and the yolk.

It's one of the most polite conversations I have seen. The Quran also considers Jesus' mother Mary as part of Trinity. That's a very obvious error that can't be attributed to translation.

In the beginning God created everything from nothing. He is the Creator, meaning he is the architect of us, the earth and the whole cosmos. Even though mankind is made in God’s image, we are but a microcosm of his imagination and abilities, which means He is infinite and able to do anything.
God’s son, Jesus/Yeshua, is part of the Godhead, which is three persons - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit - ONE God but three persons. This is a sticking point for our Muslim brothers and sisters.
Have you ever heard that humans are made up of three states or parts - body, soul and spirit? For the human being despite being integrally made up of body, soul and spirit we are still one person. Despite this somewhat inadequate human analogy, is it so hard to believe that God cannot use any model to express Himself?
Jesus/Yeshua, as God, existed at the beginning of time, became God in human form and walked this earth for 33 years as a sinless, perfect human, so that we could see a loving God in action who selflessly died to atone for our wrongdoings, rose from the dead on the third day and now is in heaven waiting and hoping for our acceptance of Him and a guaranteed place in heaven for us.

On the first plane I have to disagree. She is in the wrong religion but she cannot convert to a religion, Christianity because it should not exist if it does it is false and violates Acts 7 & 8. A Christian is someone who is in the fellowship of Christ meaning he's adopted children therefore, we do our best to work and walk in the light and truth that is Jesus.

In His incarnation, Jesus temporarily laid aside the glory that He shared with the Father from all eternity. He is asking to have His glory restored because His glory was put aside when He became man. Philippians 2:7 says, "by taking the form of a servant"-he became a slave. He laid aside His glory and became a slave. But now Jesus was about to return to the Father, and to the greater glory that He would again share with the Father. In His humanity God the Father is greater; in His divinity the Father and Son are co-equal and in His essence, Jesus and God the Father are One.
That's why Jesus said in John 14:9

I haven't finished the video yet, so I don't know if you mention it, but: I recomend that you (or anybody) read C.S. Lewis book "Mere Christianity". His chapter "The Three-Personal God" is amazing, and explains the trinity in such a great way. I just read it earlier today.
I wouldn’t recommend C.S. Lewis to anyone He was a heretic with a lot of unbiblical theology. Such as claiming the creation account was taken from earlier myths and that individuals will be saved and born again having never known the name of Jesus.

Is there more that could be said about the trinity? Yes, obviously. A large number of Christians struggle with the idea of Trinity and for any Muslim to grasp it would be a massive challenge.

The term “Son” is used for Jesus because He came in human form and because He came from and is subjected to the Father, Who is exclusively a Spirit.
Also, you’re taking that “sin no more” statement Jesus made too literal. Jesus never expected that woman to “sin no more,” He’s simply telling her that if she keeps sinning as she was, a worst thing may happen to her. He also says this to a man. He says this simply because their choices led to their issues. He never expected them to “sin no more,” otherwise that would go against everything He did. If people could stop sinning, then Jesus died for nothing. Even those who are saved sin.

Anything is possible with God for the simple reason that He is God. He can have a Son and He can be that Son. He is not bound by human limitations and that includes being in 3 persons. If you believe in God as all powerful then it cannot be confusing.
I prefer to use the word “hypostases” (which is closer to the original definition of the trinity in Greek) instead of “persons”, can get confusing for some people to distinguish “being” and “person”

I think that when we minister to a non-Christian, especially Muslim, we should give them a copy of the New Testament, not the whole Bible, because they’d read it as a novel, from the beginning, and the Old Testament would confuse them. Once they understand Jesus and his ministry in the New Testament they’d be ready to look for prophesies in the OT.
