This is the age scholars believe Mary was when she conceived Jesus, between 12-13 and this is the age Jesus came under the yoke of the law, when they would become adults and go out. Coming to the issue of Jesus as THE ONLY WAY TO GOD, we do agree that during his lifetime, he was the only way to God, but during the time of other prophets of God, they were the way to God. During the time of Moses, he was the truth, the way and the life, which means that by following this true way, you will get the life, the eternal life. And so it is for the other prophets during their time. If we say that ONLY Jesus is the way to God and the way to salvation, that means that God has commited a great injustice, becuse he will send to hell all the people that lived before Jesus. But of course that this is not true at all, because the way of salvation was there from the beginning. It would be unjust from God to send people to hell for not believing in his way of salvation, a way that didnt exist in the first place. So, the way of salvation was there. But, here is another problem: if salavation was already there before Jesus, then why did Jesus die? That means that Jesus died for nothing, which makes the situation even worst for the christians, because without the death of Jesus there is no christianity.
There are females that get their period at 9. There are people that don't think that there is rape in marriage. I think the latter is a problem. There is no Quranic verse talking about the age of Aisha but there are verses saying that a female should be well grown intelectually and physically ready for the marriage 3. There is also no hadith of the prophet a.s. talking about this, but on the other hand there are many hadiths from him telling us that no woman, virgin or devorcee, can be married against their acceptance. 4. She was engaged years before she got engaged with the Prophet at "the age of 6". 5. There are different opinions even when it comes to the age of prophet himself a.s. let alone the age of others. If we study the entire picture of islamic events, we can conclude that Aisha was in her late teens, probably17-20 and there are many arguments provong this. Now the question is what was the age of concent in the entire world not 14 centuries ago but just ONE century ago?! It was from 9-12, and in some states even 7. And these western christian states have taken this standard from the bible itself.

It was well-known and narrated that she was not, and that she had entered adulthood at the age of 9 which was common then and among her people (and still is the age of puberty today, normally occurring between 9-12 years of age). No one needs to accept the subjective opinion of men when they have the objective legislation of God that sets adulthood at puberty. Opinions are not needed in the face of evidence and one who believes in God and submits to Him and has authentic evidence of what he says, need no one else's ideas and thoughts after that. Would you believe how I am just waking up to Christ at 60? Born a Roman Catholic. What is appropriate through any time is what is legislated by God as God knows all times. Only religions that are manmade, like Christianity or Judaism need to adapt and be "appropriate" for the modern age. God's legislation in Islam is for all time. God knows the future, of course. So this is not a problem in Islam particularly since the age of adulthood is not defined by a number but a set of biological signs that indicate physical maturity (adulthood). When one can conceive a child, they are no longer a child and after that point, when they find themselves also mentally mature, they can decide to get married. The perfect and appropriate legislation for all times and places, as needed.

Because it is defensible. The age of adulthood in Islam is puberty and that's the age they can get married from what God legislated. This is no different from any other Abrahamic religion. That's when everyone got married during the Middle Ages. Jews, Christians, Hindus, everyone across the world, between 9-12. Did you also not learn in Christianity the legal age in the Bible that one was an adult and could get married was at 12 though Christians actually got married at puberty earlier as well (and betrothed even earlier, around 7/8 and sometimes earlier)? This is the age scholars believe Mary was when she conceived Jesus, between 12-13 and this is the age Jesus came under the yoke of the law, when they would become adults and go out. These are all ages considered children today, all within the normal age range of starting puberty.

Coming to the issue of Jesus as THE ONLY WAY TO GOD, we do agree that during his lifetime, he was the only way to God, but during the time of other prophets of God, they were the way to God. During the time of Moses, he was the truth, the way and the life, which means that by following this true way, you will get the life, the eternal life. And so it is for the other prophets during their time. If we say that ONLY Jesus is the way to God and the way to salvation, that means that God has commited a great injustice, becuse he will send to hell all the people that lived before Jesus. But of course that this is not true at all, because the way of salvation was there from the beginning. It would be unjust from God to send people to hell for not believing in his way of salvation, a way that didnt exist in the first place. So, the way of salvation was there. But, here is another problem: if salavation was already there before Jesus, then why did Jesus die? That means that Jesus died for nothing, which makes the situation even worst for the christians, because without the death of Jesus there is no christianity.

You cannot give evidence of any kind that states that Aisha (RA) was displeased with the marriage, her parents, the companions or the fact that the enemies of Islam never cared to use this marriage as an excuse to kill the Prophet (PBUH). Nauzubillah. If you go just go a century or two back, you can see that:
United Kingdom: Age of consent for marriage (sexual intercourse) was set at 12 years old for maidens (girls) and 14 years old for youths (boys), under English common law.
Russia: Before 1830 the age of consent for marriage (sexual intercourse) was 15 years old for males and 13 years old for females (though 15 years old was preferred for females, so much so that it was written into the Law Code of 1649). Teenage marriage was practised for chastity.
And this is just one or two centuries ago. Imagine in the 1400s when life expectancy was low and living conditions were rough.
The reason why this is not practiced anymore is because we are living more easy and lazy lives (because of school and social media, computers, etc.) as compared to before when women had to be married away as soon as they reach the end of puberty to be provided and protected (because their fathers are already frail, old and weak because of the short life expectancies) and men would be considered men also when they hit the end of puberty and should be financially able and married. Nowadays people are still stuck at the age of 18 in college not thinking about life at all and just memorising everything their school gives to them like a parrot, not questioning anything.

You might not believe in God and might make your own standards instead, but for those that do and submit to God, they know He is the Creator and knows His creation best. The age of Aisha is debatable and has problems in these narrations.
1. There was no correct and precize calculation of time by arabs at that time.
2. There is no Quranic verse talking about the age of Aisha but there are verses saying that a female should be well grown intelectually and physically ready for the marriage
3. There is also no hadith of the prophet a.s. talking about this, but on the other hand there are many hadiths from him telling us that no woman, virgin or devorcee, can be married against their acceptance.
4. She was engaged years before she got engaged with the Prophet at "the age of 6".
5. There are different opinions even when it comes to the age of prophet himself a.s. let alone the age of others. If we study the entire picture of islamic events, we can conclude that Aisha was in her late teens, probably17-20 and there are many arguments provong this.
Now the question is what was the age of concent in the entire world not 14 centuries ago but just ONE century ago?! It was from 9-12, and in some states even 7. And these western christian states have taken this standard from the bible itself.

Do you know the difference between a betrothal and consummation/completion of a marriage? A betrothal or marriage arrangement can happen at any age, even infancy. However the actual marriage (consummation and such) can only happen after there are signs of maturity (ie pubertal development). Men are designed to be the fathers of children,not their lovers, precisely because consummation damages children both physically and mentally for life,which is why it is banned in the majority of countries, except Islamic ones,where men can violate children with impunity.

It’s painfully ironic how even in the quran, they left in Aisha saying how the non-believing [non-muslim] women do not suffer as much as the believing [muslim] women suffer.
You should probably read the Quran. It doesn't say that. What you mean is the hadith and do you know the history of Islam and what the first Muslims suffered through that made their life harder than non-Muslims? They had to leave their home and land, they were abused and boycotted, some killed and women left behind and unable to travel due to their disbelieving husbands not accepting Islam. This is what made their life difficult, NOT Islam.

That poor guy didn't have one single true fact! He's just accepted the stories he's been told. Why do the Quran or hadiths provide no context, but Muslims feel obliged to imagine some context that makes them feel comfortable with a bad situation? Aisha was in an arranged marriage and had sex with a man more than four decades older than she was. She had not even had her period, which is only one aspect of maturity. A scholar? A scholar of what? Her only contribution was a great number of quotes of Muhammad in the hadiths, some of which reveal him as a con artist. These were not written down until two hundred years later. There is not one bit of evidence that she was a mature prodigy or scholar. There is unlimited evidence that Muhammad was a deranged warlord and ch---d m------r.
