As all of your videoed You have made this so much easier to understand , can you come to uk and give me bike lessons 👍
Soon!!
i guess I'm pretty randomly asking but do anyone know of a good place to stream newly released movies online ?
@Lincoln Judson Lately I have been using Flixzone. Just google for it =)
You made a video recently on how not to use the clutch in a turn, how does it apply differently here?
I find this dude's voice extremely reassuring. He'd be a great flight instructor, too. And I like that he doesn't take the luggage off his bike for the shoot!

The slow motion is GREAAT!!!!
Many people should watch this, for "mature riding"

The big part of the bikers are stupid.
I'm 50 and have "30+ years riding experience" I never realized how bad of a rider I was. Thank you so much, I've learned a great deal from you. I like your style, keep it up please. Confession, my first road bike was a brand new GSXR 1100 hahaha, I was also an idiot.

ya. all counter steering does is initiate the lean only, after your bike is leaned already the handle bars acutally need to be in the direction where you're going. its completely possible to lean a bike without doing counter steering as well (thats what moto gp riders do in corners, they dont do counter steering, they lean bike with their body.. once high speed a bike turns by leaning so counter steering is the way to make bike lean by pushing handlebars and not by body weight or tilting yourself, its not like the bike cant lean without doing counter steering.) . there is a myth that a bike only turns by counter steering and that myth is yet to be broken.. i opt for motojitsu to break that myth
@@tycoon7885 so much wrong with your paragraph. Google that, and you'll see a moto gp guy hanging off the side of his bike and the bike going straight. Body lean means fuck all.
Slow motion really helps! I have practiced this and its cool. Thanks! (of course more practice needed)
Glad it helped!
How do u overcome the fear of falling down?
@@brandondan7436 I had the same question and I think it is mindset. Or mind reset. If you practiced this 1000 times and you hit the asphalt once, it’s more or less safe to say that you will not fall down. The trick is mostly (and I fail at that sometimes) is where you look. Look down and you go down. Look where you want to go and you will go there.
@@estrenuo thank you for ur response and those tips. I'll be sure to use them 🙏🏼
@@brandondan7436 don't train with your bike 😅
This video just made total sense of my practice session today. I was practicing u turns and could not for the life of me get turned around inside 2 parking spaces. Then I started playing with the handlebars on entry and the second half of the session I was aces, but I could not figure out why until I watched this. I had to go right to lean left at first then embrace that lean. Thanks for the upload!!
😁😁👍🏼👍🏼
Love the relaxed way you turn the bike. Great exercise to practice. Ideal for getting through busy town or city traffic.

Best instruction and visual I’ve ever seen simple straight to the point, for my very first bike never riden before I bought a Harley FXDR 4 days ago and turns scare me the most I appreciate this video a lot
Awesome video fast Eddie! As a relative newbie and scooter rider I really love to your slow speed manoeuvre videos and the reasoning behind the bike physics & dynamics.
You have the best motorcycle channel on UA-cam and social media and your video has helped me a lot since I first viewed it. Many thanks again bro!
Amazing camera work! Thanks for sharing these demonstrations!

Thanks for posting these videos. I’m still a new rider with a lot to learn and your last two videos are exactly what I’ve been struggling with recently (uphill u-turns and rolling turns).

Im glad you made this video, Ive been struggling with the rolling 90 degree turns and discovered the other day that pulling in the clutch making the turn and easying out of the clutch worked for me but Ive had some tell me that its a bad habit, so Im glad you made this video!
Thanks for you videos! I just started out my riding journey and I'm making time to practice all of these concepts!
You're welcome!!!
Love your videos, they really break the subject down to grasp the different elements I need to practice
Hi Fast Eddie!
I love your videos and have been practicing lots of the excercises for 2-3 years, really really useful.
I have dropped the bike +200 times on each side:-) It’s good fun!
When I watched this video I felt like I wanted to ”counter attack” the turn by touching the left line, turn towards the right line and then bank into the left turn.
To me the bike plants itself well for the ”second” turn.
It’s really cool having practiced all your excercises.
Having to do a u-turn with a fullpacked GS and a wife on the pillion, full lock and the pegs almost scratching the ground is really cool AND useful.
Who wants to padelturn a tonne GS??
Take care and thanks for your great contributions to a safer two wheel world!
You're very welcome!! Keep at it...sounds like you're on the right path :)
I'm so glad I found this video bc this is how I've been doing rolling 90 degree turns at intersections and I thought I was getting into a bad habit pulling the clutch in and easing it out through the turn even though it's been working well for me. Thanks for reassuring me that it's ok to do! Great video.
Same!

But it’s January in the Midwest and I am going cuckoo looking forward to warm spring weather so I can ride.... Be thankful for that California weather...lol

I swear this is one of the topics giving this new rider the most trouble. At every intersection I feel like I just can't get this right or consistent. I've read online or watched videos to NOT use the clutch through a turn like this and that you should already be in gear. I just don't see how you don't use the clutch. Appreciate this video. I've got to keep at it.
Every time I look for a video motojitsu has already covered it, big ups man I really trust your videos to make me a better rider.
Quality video. Training is cool!
So many videos about counter-steering are out there.
Most of them, almost all of them, talk only about "aiming" the handlebar to the opposite direction of the desired direction, but do not talk about the MUST to re-aim the handlebar to the desired direction after the motorcycle has tipped/rolled into the turn.
This video does talk about that, and it provides the very first decent demonstration and slow-mo. Excellent!
MotoJitsu - please take the slow-mo and make it as a separated video, titling as a counter-steeling video.
It can be so beneficial for new riders to understand that the handlebar must be directed to the desired direction after being rolled into the turn (even if it happens "automatically" without the rider forcing it)
Thanks! Yes I took a few clips and added a few more and a stand alone counter steering video is in the make :) Please Check out & Subscribe to my other UA-cam channel!!! ua-cam.com/channels/VJeRk29mNO-YRuvOJ73klQ.html?view_as=subscriber

Thx! Another thing to practice & the slow motion helped...I paused video several times before the slow motion. Seems clutch, counter steer, & head turn are simultaneous. I like the no brakes too...unless you’re going way too fast 😆. I try to use my brakes as little as possible when I ride-just seems to help get in a groove. Thx again

Understanding counter steering saved my life at least once. It’s REALLY cool...ALTHOUGH, if no one ever told us we’d do it anyway, like a kid on a bike, BUT when you understand what’s happening you can make it MORE effective. Scenario - I was going about 45mph and I think it was a dog darted into the street from my left and I basically punched the right handlebar grip, like you’d bump a door that is stuck, and made the snappiest, slickest and smoothest dodge to the right ever...think basketball moves or a running back. It takes fractions of a second off your turn in an emergency situation and you’ll actually impress yourself when you’ve done it. Pay attention, gain confidence, giddy up.

This was drilled into us during both our beginner and advanced courses required to ride and get a full license for a motorcycle.
