That emotion he felt with all the mist shows a true landscape photographer in my eyes. It's hard to explain unless you've experienced it but when you get the exact conditions you're looking for, in the right location with the right light, very few things in life can give you such a natural high. It truly lifts the soul!

You really have a great understanding of the environments you venture out in. The way you study maps, the weather, the rising and setting of the sun, tidal movements, how the light may possibly shift. Congrats on the wedding and some stunning shots to boot. My missus realised prior to our marriage that if push came to shove in order for me to get a specific shot or time-lapse sequence that she'd be playing second fiddle to the camera. The awesome thing with that is that she accepts it, definitely a keeper, but then again I can't see her clambering in winter to the top of Mt. Fuji with me though!

Fantastic Tom! In your last video, you were trying to keep calm looking for a composition, this time you had the opposite problem in trying to keep calm when you were spoilt for choice. Another excellent video mate and some stunning scenery. You managed your romantic weekend perfectly (assuming you made it back to Charlotte in time for breakfast) and you walked away with some beautiful images. Last week I went away with my wife for the weekend and managed to get out in the mornings for some landscape photography and vlogging. You're right, it can be done with a little careful planning.
I laughed the whole time when watching this... another amazing video and stunning photos.

O my God! At 11.06 there is incredible light in distance behind you! In all that beauty it is easy to overlook some moments. As a landscape photographer so many times I was on incredible locations only to find pour light and frustration. Moment like this is something we live for. By the way, congrats :)
Andy, nothing is ever overlooked. You can't see from the video, but those mountains were about 8 miles away and there was not a clean shot as the fell in the foreground was obscuring the view. The composition was clumsy and unbalanced. Light wasn't enough on its own. Thanks for your kind words. We're very happy to be married 😄

Congrats on the wedding mate! I have been massively inspired to get into Landscape photography by watching your videos! I love getting out in nature and am I'm learning that sometimes I have a horrible morning/evening trying to get shots that just don't happen because of weather or lighting but then stop for a minute and just enjoy the surroundings. Some of your earlier videos helped me realize to be persistent...One where you were stuck in a massive storm and you were in the car then out the car then in the car.....then you just gave up and went home for a Hot Chocolate haha but you actually got out there and tried.
