You two inspire me so much to walk tall as a woman of God. I am in a whole different field as you guys (I work in tech, live in South Africa) but fundamentally as women we are called to serve our families and our community just the same. The way I have been convicted with the way I dress and submit to my husband is next level. We are still waiting on children. Been walking this journey for nearly 3 years. But keeping the faith. Thanks for this, ladies. ❤
You guys😢 your friendship is absolutely heart warming. So refreshing to see two young beautiful women/mothers bounce off each other so effortlessly! I praise the lord that I managed to come across this video❤️
Wow I’ve been listening to you both a lot this year 😮amazing that you’re friends ! I pray the lord brings me mom friends like you both 🤍 both of your input blessed me with this video, thank you xxx
I love this! There is a lot of unkind comments regarding how much tori talks and that is not right. If you don’t like it you don’t have to watch. I love hearing her talk and she is so inspiring to me. I love Milena too but if you want to hear her talk more then you can go to her channel as well🤗.
I’m wondering a little about Milena’s comment about how closing her kitchen at night was obedience to God. As a mama of 2 born close together + pregnant and sick with baby number 3, there are times where I go to bed with *gasp* dirty dishes in my sink! I feel just as valued by God and don’t think I’m disobeying. I’m actually truly concerned that she’s becoming a bit legalistic.
We all have different walks with the Lord. If this is what the Lord is telling her to do, that's what she needs to do. There is no need to be personally offended.
@patdo4452 I come from an extremely legalistic background and I think there’s some danger in the way she’s thinking. But I’ll definitely pray for her, I love her and her content. She’s been an amazing example to me, I’m just concerned that’s all.
That's not what she said, beloved. She said that closing the kitchen is a good **analogy** to represent the benefits you get in obedience vs the issues you deal with when you're living in disobedience. Ie. Waking up to a dirty kitchen can be stressful or frustrating, similarly - when you live in disobedience to God. In comparison- the joy and relief you get when you wake up to a clean kitchen is an image of how it can be when you do things God's way, aka obedience. 🙏🏾:)
This episode was soooo convicting, thank you ladies 🙏🏻 I've been trying to find that UA-cam channel Tori mentioned with the verses and worship music, has anyone found it😁
Hi, i really loved this episode!! I would say im a little confused about dressing what your man likes. Im not against what youre doing because i think its cool. On the other hand, im trying to understand how is dressing to what your husband likes is beautiful? I have heard of many married women say these things, but ive never heard of men say to wear what your wife likes ya know. It just feels like women are usually the ones that have to dress to appease their husband, but men dont focus on that. Im sorry if this is rude, im just genuinely trying to understand as a single woman who desires marriage and doesnt want to say this is wrong but im just simply confused on this teaching. I hope you know you guys are inspiring and ive learned so much!!
Yeah I can’t get behind this at all no where in the Bible does it say to only wear what your husband likes. If my husband likes what i wear awesome but there is absolutely nothing wrong with having your own style and enjoying fashion! There is also nothing wrong with street style of baggy clothes I love baggy jeans and an oversized sweater and not to mention it’s modest! You do not have to only wear dresses to be modest you can be modest and still dress extremely stylish and cute!
I understand what you're saying, however I do know my husband does like picking out clothes that he knows I like on him (colors, styles, etc.). Women also often are known for buying their husband's clothing and they just simply put it on (photoshoots, holidays, etc.). So I get the questions with wearing only what they like, but I think men do care and try as well, they just definitely don't talk about it. Women hardly talk about it, we just dress how we feel good and hope it impresses our spouse because we like it. This is just taking it another step and checking to see if they actually like our style. Hope this can put a different perspective! I totally understand your question because I thought the same thing and then had to think about it a little.
Hey Tori and Milena! Loved the chat, wished it was longer so I could here Milena a little more!! But a question: would you say that you don't dress for yourself? Only for your husband? I think about this in terms of my boyfriend and sometimes I think something is stunning that he isn't crazy about (he doesn't think its ugly though) but because I feel lovely in it, and I do really think its beautiful, I would still wear it! What do you think?
How do you dress in a modest way or a way your being convicted if your husband likes when you wear not so modest clothing. He is a Christian but our walks arent lining up anymore... he takes 3 steps forward 5 steps back and i know Gods working but he HATES when i wear dresses and skirts he wants me to wear tight jeans, low cut shirts, bikinis etc. 1) im pregnant with baby number 5 my body is no where near what it was when we first met and im working on that so im very conscious on what i wear but also i just dont feel like thats what God wants me to wear. So im havijg a hard time with submission in certain areas due to this. Any advice?
Submit first to the Lord your God, then to your husband. In this case, if God is convicting you to be more modest then do that. Your hubby may not like it but he married you, had children with you and should also respect you if you have been called to change your ways (also, tight clothes when pregnant is often very restrictive and not great for your blood flow or comfort level which in turn can affect your mood and how you interact with those around you and could lead to you resenting him if you're dressing only to please him in public). Pray about it, wear what you are called to, esp around your kids as there's a respect and example factor there too that needs to be set - and maybe save those tighter clothes for when you're alone with hubby (you could maybe even ask him to get you some nice lingerie to wear under those dresses or when you're alone instead 😉). May God work in your life and bless you in this season of change. ❤
Thank you for sharing Biblical wisdom! I want to dress for my husband, but every time I ask him about clothes, he says he doesn't care what I wear. What should I do in this case?
Start taking note of when he compliments you, that could also sound like questions sometimes eg. Why are you dressed so fancy? When did you get that top? If he asks questions you know he's noticing it and you can ask do you like this style on me or prefer something else... it will take time but if you start paying attention to small things you'll figure it out. Even pay attention to when he touches you more in passing, that might also be an indicator that he subconsciously likes something
Since he doesn’t care, God does care about what we wear. 1 Timothy 2:9 “likewise also that a woman should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self control”. Ask the Holy Spirit on what’s acceptable to wear
Amazing women of Christ 🎉 hey girls, I’d love you to cover the topic on the biblical design on making decisions when your husband asks you questions and opinions. Like where do you want to eat 😅😂 do we put him as the lead and decision maker or do you think that’s putting more of a load on them? This would be good to get your husbands’ POV on, as well ❤
Quick tip I learned from my very clean organized husband, you must clean stain. Poops, or whatever before you through it on the washer otherwise they will stain the whole cloth.
I feel like people who are complaining don’t understand the friendship between Tori and Milena. I’m only 18 minutes in but I really don’t see any problem. It’s called Talks with Tori, not Interviews with Tori…
Ironically this podcast exposed Tori for her lack of biblical thinking. She’ll say a lot of thimble thst sound good and Milena was just sort of looking at her. I did grow to be e en bigger fan of Milena though. That girl doesn’t rely I’m what people dat about things, she always brings it back to the Bible.
I wish you would have used a better picture of Milena in the thumbnail. She’s so beautiful and that picture just looks like it wasn’t chosen with much consideration
milena is smiling in the thumbnail. its not like she was caught off guard mid sentence. that’s how her face looked when tori introduced her anyway. she looks the same😭
PLEASE let your guest speak more that you. You go on and on, I keep hitting 10 seconds and you’re still on about it. The guest should have the majority of the airtime. 🤦🏿♀️
@@withlovedoeverythingyou don’t really know her to judge her character. Maybe this channel not for YOU. Doesn’t mean It might not be for someone else.
@@withlovedoeverything if Tory was really self-centered she would only talk about herself, but literally anything she says and shares is to encourage others! The reason she shares so much is because she is super passionate and has lots of wisdom to share! I agree that I would have loved to hear more from Milena, but this was never supposed to be an interview but a conversation. Milena has her own UA-cam channel and podcast which I highly recommended to check out if you want to hear more of what she has to say!
