I just wanna note that the concentration of this video was graph and key frame adjustment, so I didn’t really go into the easy ease process and stuff. if you’re more of a beginner and want some more background knowledge on key frames and graphs, I recommend watching my after effects basics video (my second video). have a good day guys! ❤️
something else to note when using null object, blurmocurves or transform: you can overlap them too, not only keyframes!! this means you can place transform, blurmocurves &/or null object twice or even more on a clip. this is helpful when making a fake zoom transition (but making it actually smooth and not crusty looking asf). iirc there is tutorials on that but i jus wanted to put that out there if you stumble upon this comment 😋
i just started ae about a week ago and your channel has by far been the most helpful. I have/will continue to recommend it to any of my friends who start as well. thank you so much, like without you I would be completely lost.
I’ve watched a lot of after effects tutorials, and I have to say yours are the absolute best. You explain things so clearly, demonstrate, and show examples as well, and honestly I would be no where without your tutorials
I just installed Ae yesterday, and have no knowledge on how to use it or any of what was said in this video. But I am so happy I came across this tutorial because now I know I can learn from this channel. Thank you for your content, it will make my learning experience a lot easier!! xxx
THANK YOU SO MUCH. this is the only tutorial i could find that explained things where i could actually understand them and get the transition to look good.
okay so i was in the middle of making an edit and i was having that exact problem where the clip just stays still. i usually never have that problem but ive recently started doing that thing you did with the zoom (so when the clip starts with a zoom out and then there's a little zoom in in the middle), but i was doing it the way i saw a diff tutorial do it (the editor only moved one of the ease adjustment sticks) which makes the transition super fast. i just now did it your way and it worked perfectly! (if i could show you i would) it's smooth and the transition isn't too fast :) so basically what I'm trying to say is, thank you ;') this tut and your acc, in general, helps me sm :)
i havent started with ae yet, probably gonna start tomorrow, but im already watching your videos and i think they’re really gonna help me when i start :) so thank you!
Wow... that’s EXACTLY that I needed!! yesterday i was trying to make a smooth transitions with bmc for the first time , and kinda come up with what u did here but obviously failed lol (for ex with a black opacity thing, but now i know using null object is so much easier!!!!) thank you so much for your tutorials bless u 💕💕💕💕💕
