For the vast majority of the game, i went with single saber as my primary, and dual wielding as my secondary. Worked really well for me.

I did that for a good chunk of my first playthrough as well.

My 2 most used combos were Dual Wield + Double Bladed, and Dual Wield + Crossguard. I've now went back to Single + Double.

At harder levels parrying is a must. You’ll kill enemies much faster by parrying their attacks instead of jumping away from them. And your wrong about the single blade not being able to close the gap remember it has no weaknesses. Your dash attack and your lunge are your gap closers. The single blade has an answer for every situation unlike the other stances. The other stances are easier to use in certain situations but will fall short in one area.

It doesnt really matter that pseudo ability to cancel animation. If you attack after parry when you have time you dont need that and you do more dmg per swing with single blade. Single blade is the best in the game, and double is best for group of enemies. Dual wield is only good if you use that broken parry everything skill.

Single saber is consistently my favorite.

Mine as well. I like a couple other stances a lot, and i know the various Pros and Cons of them all, but i really like the single saber stance.

I would have preferred if the game set you with one or two options, and then let you specialize in a style. Like Soresu or Makashi.

That could have been really cool.

That woulda been cool but all of the forms are used in the game in Cals animations. Makeshi is what he uses when using the blaster

Single saber with heavy force power usage feels very good. Mass lift and slam makes up for the lack of cc and aoe damage

One blade is all a true duelist needs. Just ask Dooku.

This is true, anything more than that is a crutch for a bad swordsman.

I think the single saber one is my favorite because it looks the most like my favorite jedis.

Yeah, that's probably why i like it so much too. All my favorite Jedi were single saber users.

One thing i noticed you didnt menion is with the single blade stane you're able to press the diretional stick either left/right or back + attack in mid combo and cal will extend the combo. This is the only stance this can be done with.

Twofold reflection skill doesnt work 2024. The dual stance one works. The crossgaurd overpowered blaster reflect skill works, and the double saber multireflect skill works. Doesnt seem to do anythinf different then how the game starts getting it for single

The Single Bladed Saber is great for early game, serving as a tutorial stance (along with double bladed), which doesn't get used a lot. But as you get into later game with all of those hard bosses (Double Rancor, Spawn of Oggdo), you depend on Dual Wield and/or Crossguard to get the job done.

As soon as you recommended that people jump for all situations instead of parry, I tuned out. That’s bad advice, imo. Cheers for your efforts, though.

I agree, jumping has its place but a well timed parry or force evade will lead to well timed combos
