    Yo, do you by any chance have a video showing the conversion of the 918 RSR rim? I want to buy that rim so badly but I fear that it will not be possible to upgrade to Fanatecs new QR2 once that is out (officially it will not, wondering if it will be possible with some modding). Would be great to get a peek on the inside of the wheel!

      In fact we might, my brother did the conversion for the SRM USB. Anyway that's the route that you would have to go if you want to use the 918 Rim . You will have to do with SRM conversion and then add the new QR2 to that and use USB. Our teammate @Max_recoil/twitch.tv is using it now.
      The Srm or sim racing machines usb is an adapter to use fanatec wheels on Non-Fanatec bases. However I think it would apply to your want as well.

    Stop screw? Doesn't that defeat the point of a QR?

      @droors77  Рік тому +1

      Yep, I recommend you use it... It's actually quicker than using the jam nut and the expansion bushing...

      Also be aware there are two different size stop screws... The DD1 and 2 have a long and the Csl /gtddpro have shorter

    im looking into a fanatec setup because my g920 broke, will this fit an aftermarket wheel from a real steering wheel manufacturer say nrg or momo?

      this particular product no, However you can use a podium hub, Which is a separate device which has the standard 6 bolt 70 mm pattern from a sparco,nrg or momo . It also has the 3 bolt 52mm for smaller open wheel car rims.

      I've had a fanatec since they were officially licensed for the playstation products and have plenty of other resources compiled. Feel free to find our discord ,there is plenty of information and dedicated fanatec thread there.

      @@droors77 i saw that, shame there isnt a cheaper option since it feels wasteful spending so much money on a podium hub when i dont plan on using any sort of paddles or on wheel buttons
