Must be quite the effort for Jack to play it cool like that.

Fun fact - he has special trousers glued to the seat for songs where he needs to stay cool. You may also notice left hand tightly squeezing his wurl to avoid accidental clapping.
The sound engineering is masterful, like the musical arrangement and performance. The set design harkens to a distant era, simpler times, happier people. I love this!
Holy moly Nicole Row holding down the fort on the bass like a boss, the sneaky major pentatonic walking bass lick in the end chorus got me jumping from my chair screaming YES
whoever color designed the set and wardrobe is fire!! having such a shitty day and this really put a smile on my face ...how could it not? Thank you more you know. Amazing.
I went down the rabbit hole after CBS had a promo for some show of theirs during the Chiefs/Bengals game & i heard the song & had to find others who had justice to the original. You guys are sooooo awesome along with a version by Ben Folds.. muchas gracias for making the world we live in ( with the trumpians etc) liveable thank thank you thank you...
Scary Pockets genuinely makes life happier. More enjoyable. Lighter and less stressful. Like coming home. Scary Pockets is the smile to life's grimace. Thank you all of you. And Natalie, congrats on a fabulous album. I have been listening so much since it came out. I left a message on your wedding anniversary photo on Jack's Instagram as he seems to be pretty active on there these days - if you'd care to delve... 😊❤️
Woah, I used to work with Ryan (the drummer)! Such a talented/sweet person. I had no idea he’d been running in these circles, came as a total shock to see him here but dude deserves it.
It might just be the hair and jawline, but the drummer looks like a young Brendan Fraser! Also, really enjoyed the arrangement, performance, and aesthetic of this one!
It's a shame Nataly didn't get the memo about wearing a white turtleneck. Seriously though, this is an amazing track. You guys have such a fantastic groove.
Nice nice song. Always love when you add a little video postscript. Also, really like you bringing back the enormously underappreciated white turtleneck!!
This is like a Banana Fritter (with cinammon) on a Summer Beach. Light, tasty &, 'cause of the Funk/Phat content, filling and satisfying. Smiles all round.
I seem to recall Lucius wearing almost the exact same array of getups for their lives shows like 8 years ago. Maybe I’m making that up … like when I dream about doing my laundry.
My 4th of July Party soundtrack will be the entire Scary Pockets discography and ONLY the entire Scary Pockets discography. It is hands down the best party music. Recognizable songs but still interesting enough to funk
I am thinking it's a sign That the freckles in our eyes Are mirror images And when we kiss they're perfectly aligned And I have to speculate That God Himself did make Us into corresponding shapes Like puzzle pieces from the clay And true it may seem like a stretch But it's thoughts like this that catch My troubled head when you're away And when I am missing you to death And when you are out there on the road For several weeks of shows And when you scan the radio I hope this song will guide you home They will see us waving from such great heights Come down now, they'll say But everything looks perfect from far away Come down now but we'll stay I tried my best to leave This all on your machine But the persistent beat It sounded thin upon the sending And that frankly will not fly You'll hear the shrillest highs And lowest lows with the windows down And this is guiding you home They will see us waving from such great heights Come down now they'll say But everything looks perfect from far away Come down now but we'll stay They will see us waving from such great heights Come down now they'll say But everything looks perfect from far away Come down now but we'll stay They will see us waving from such great heights (Come down now)
The turtlenecks and sunglasses are oddly satisfying

Scary Pockets with Nataly on the thumbnail - insta-click! And Jack! And Nicole! And it did NOT disappoint! Yay!
The sound engineering is masterful, like the musical arrangement and performance. The set design harkens to a distant era, simpler times, happier people. I love this!
I'm not sure I would qualify this as funk, but I would definitely agree that it's a damn good cover.
I guess it's too much trouble to re-forge the boilerplate.
Holy moly Nicole Row holding down the fort on the bass like a boss, the sneaky major pentatonic walking bass lick in the end chorus got me jumping from my chair screaming YES
She is EFFORTLESSLY cool
@@smonson2 damn straight she is :O
whoever color designed the set and wardrobe is fire!! having such a shitty day and this really put a smile on my face ...how could it not? Thank you more you know. Amazing.
Yeah Nataly in bright colors and 20th Century outfit styles has been a winning streak lately.
😊
I love this song and I love seeing Nicole back playing in Scary Pockets!
PocketMoose - Love this cover! Cool summer vibe, cool dress, cool everything!!
This cover is absolutely splendid. Loving the vocal backing arrangement.
And Nicole is the goddess. Good to have her back.
The crossover that I have deperately been waiting for
also, for people who are unaware, the people who run Scary Pockets and the people who run Pomplamoose do, in fact, overlap
Pomplamoose is such a mood! Been in love with their vibe for so many years and I'm so happy to see them here
Great theme, wardrobe and set, great version. Nice work.

You know it's gonna be good when young Brendan Fraser is on the drums.
I came to make a similar post. I'm simultaneously glad and mad that someone beat me to it. Well done/damn you.

I think a neat cover would be Jim Croce's Time in a bottle I think you guys could give it a neat take. Great job as ever with this one though. :D
Oh yes please!
Or “I Got A Name”
So much fun, and Natly's mom dancing is perfect.
What a crossover, no idea how you guys managed to get a hold of this elusive group
Woah, I used to work with Ryan (the drummer)! Such a talented/sweet person. I had no idea he’d been running in these circles, came as a total shock to see him here but dude deserves it.
I was so amazed to see the sun rising and singing!!!!
Beautiful set! Nataly's dress is amazing. That drumming is tight as frick and the song is a banger! Great work as always
Love!!! That yellow dress is stunning and the whole set is so cute!
LOVE this one!
I love the esthetic! Someone put Fearless Flyers and Silc Sonic in the blender. It came out great
It might just be the hair and jawline, but the drummer looks like a young Brendan Fraser!
Also, really enjoyed the arrangement, performance, and aesthetic of this one!
Strangely transported to my young childhood.. late ‘70s early 80’s.. reminiscent of hall and oates. Love it!
🤩I love everything with that song.
Arrangement, music, decoration, clothing 🎶🎶👏👏👏👏👏
Coolness factor 200% 😎
I have loved this song for years - such a great cover, right up there with PMJ's cover! Love it!
summer vibes! thanks for sharing
Nicole Rowe on bass is the best part of this song! Not sure I consider this funk, but still enjoyed the instrumentals on this one.
This is just my favorite mix ever I think, its such a satisfying wall of sound it just makes me so happy.
That is an awesome set. That is hilarious. Keep up the great work of keeping things different and fun.
Awesome bass playin" @Nicole Row!!!
Great cover!! Love to see Nat doing some extra-curricular cameos.
Brendan Frasier is killing it on the drums.
Clicked the button and got to hear Nicole play bass. Winning!!!! 😎
Great guest singer! ;) ...and great video - fun!
Fun performance on a fun set!
Ok, this just put a huge smile on my face. Just loved it.
Yesssss-finally!! Thank you👏🏼👏🏼
Great production!!
I think this is my favorite set/ aesthetic so far. How could something so clean have gone so funky?
Such a weird, cute band. Love this cover. Pure joy!
Love this so much!
This makes me so happy! Nailed the aesthetic for a Postal Service song too.
Nicole and Nataly in the same song. Crush on crush on crush. Loved the song!
absolutely love the original and this does it so much justice. absolute banger!
This is like a Banana Fritter (with cinammon) on a Summer Beach. Light, tasty &, 'cause of the Funk/Phat content, filling and satisfying. Smiles all round.
Woah, so relaxing and blissful for a such a hard-core vibe. Thank you!
this has always been one of my favorite songs!! well done scary pockets
Love the yellow guitars and turtlenecks!😍
Brendan Fraser is sick on those drums!!!
I seem to recall Lucius wearing almost the exact same array of getups for their lives shows like 8 years ago. Maybe I’m making that up … like when I dream about doing my laundry.
Your 60's "Mod" set.. wow.. Love you guys!
Nataly with the Air Theremin!™ Glorious!
I love Nataly's dress!
It's the Dating Game version of funk Postal Service covers!
My 4th of July Party soundtrack will be the entire Scary Pockets discography and ONLY the entire Scary Pockets discography. It is hands down the best party music. Recognizable songs but still interesting enough to funk
So different I love it !
Having a downer of a day ... but this Postal Service flashback put a grin on my face. Thank you.
Come see us July 2nd in St Helena, CA at Charles Krug Winery for Blue Note Summer Sessions! Tickets: bit.ly/ScaryPocketsKrug

This is fabulous. So cheery!
Scary Pomplamoose?... nice + i love that song and you add Nicole?.... F***!... i love it!
Holy crap this sounds so good!
This set!
I am thinking it's a sign
That the freckles in our eyes
Are mirror images
And when we kiss they're perfectly aligned
And I have to speculate
That God Himself did make
Us into corresponding shapes
Like puzzle pieces from the clay
And true it may seem like a stretch
But it's thoughts like this that catch
My troubled head when you're away
And when I am missing you to death
And when you are out there on the road
For several weeks of shows
And when you scan the radio
I hope this song will guide you home
They will see us waving from such great heights
Come down now, they'll say
But everything looks perfect from far away
Come down now but we'll stay
I tried my best to leave
This all on your machine
But the persistent beat
It sounded thin upon the sending
And that frankly will not fly
You'll hear the shrillest highs
And lowest lows with the windows down
And this is guiding you home
They will see us waving from such great heights
Come down now they'll say
But everything looks perfect from far away
Come down now but we'll stay
They will see us waving from such great heights
Come down now they'll say
But everything looks perfect from far away
Come down now but we'll stay
They will see us waving from such great heights
(Come down now)
Fantastic Cover!
Fantastic!
What … love it!!
I lost that set when I was a teenager. I was wondering where it went. You found it!
j adore votre pianiste !! trop cool man
I love Sacary Pockets and Poomplamose !!!!!!!
THIS IS BANGIN'!
First! Mwuhaha!
Big fan, SP. Laying here with covid and your tunes are making me feel better. ❤️
sounds indie and experimental, really beautiful
Such a great song. Brings back so many memories ❤️
Happy Pockets!
Not sure why but the drummer reminds me of Brendan Fraser in the 1999 cinematic masterpiece "The Mummy"
OH MY LORD WHAT A SONG YOU CHOSE!!!!!!!! i love it
Brendan Fraser crushing it on the drums. 🥁
el tema original es uno de los mejores que he podido escuchar en mi vida, pero este cover de pana se le para al lado. Buenísimo
I'm a fan of both of you.
La grande classe ! Bravo.
That set. Flashbacks to American Bandstand.
so cute!
This video has me wondering how many songs would be more fun if all the guitarists were required to play within arms length of each other.
That ride tone is a slice of heaven.
I think the everything tone is perfect, this cover just is heaven lol
Love it!
Uh, that was hella vibin'. Much appreciated.
I genuinely like this cover more than the original
NICE ONE GUYS ,LOOKING GOOD
Y'all are just weird! Awesome! I hope the new record does great.
