- Hey all, for a long time now I have wanted an ATV but the prices are usually so expensive. But this beaut cost me $575, after a little cleaning, paint job and some TLC it sure looks a lot better! It was more of a test to see if the paint would stick to plastic as well as the fiberglass resin, seems to be holding up good!

We got one of these turds, runs like a top and goes like a demon. Rebuilt the top end a few years ago, slightly over bored because the cylinder had a lip in it. Wouldn't get rid of it love it!

@@xRoSkii yea I use ours to do fence line in the winter, can't break traction. I put some rail road tie chunks on the rear rack and it goes

Spray painting plastics is usually a bad idea. You're better off using a cloth buffing wheel mounted on a bench grinder or similar tool, after wet sanding the faded surface of plastics. Paint doesn't last long on ATV plastics, no matter how flexible and bonded it is.

Got the same quad rebuilt it about two years ago went from not working to perfect working condition and more. But when i rebuilt it it was with my dad and now i need to rebuild the carburetor because its having issues. Trying to find a video on how to do it

Yea me too! Mine has been down and out for almost 2 years now. The main fuse blows each time I turn the key. probably a short somewhere but I cannot find it for the life of me.
Would bondo have worked in that application? Never done fiber resin before..
Bondo will work on pieces that will not be under stress of movement, so I would not of used it in this case.
can you tell me the year of that blue quadrunner 160 that you painted white. i just bought an identical one and dont know what year it is
I think its an 87 or 93. I knew at one point. Not it has an electrical problem, fuse blows not sure why.
