IMO, Tim Drake has the respect of the Batfamily and other superheroes but he doesn't get the respect he deserves from the fandom.

I think Kwing is right, although I’m not very disappointed by the costume, it could definitely be better, but there is worse. What I don’t like is the name. If his Superhero name is the same as his last name it’s like a big red flag being waved in front of the bad guys.
I'd be okay with it, if they went dragon with it. He's Drake, he has a more techy suit with an upgrade of those Red Robin wings and probably more gear in general. I could see it. Just brown Nightwing is lame though.

It is. Drake is his real name AND his vigilante name. Which is stupid. (Tim is supposed to be a genius). And the name Red Robin always made sense.
Red Robin was meh at first, but he made it work over time. Much like how silly "Bat man" was once upon a time, but we got used to it. Drake on the other hand, being his surname, is a timelessly stupid choice.

I think Tim would make a great legacy hero to the Question. Post-Crisis comics constantly stressed how good of a detective Tim is, apparently better than Batman himself. He's definitely better than Renee Montoya.

All Mighty his writing on the series has been good so far, this is the main gripe people have had with it.
Of all the things I’ve heard And witnessed, The Drake is arguably one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen. Why on God’s green earth is this now in existence? What’s next, will his super villain rival be “The Bread-man”?
That and while I perfectly understand why you’re angry kwing, it’s mainstream comics. Death has NO MEANING whatsoever, aside from there being a somewhat size able gap between that and the next time we’ll see them. Even if Dido gets his wish, it’s going to be ANYTHING but permanent. Even still, the idea of THE DRAKE is so unbelievably, unfathomably idiotic that the density of Dido’s skull far exceeds the earths core.
Wouldn’t it be a dead giveaway of who he is? What if he has somebody in his school who hates him, then hears the name Drake on TV, realized who it is, and then reports it to the mob or something. Tim would be dead in a month!!!!

And if what I suspect is going to happen from reading the current YJ comics is correct and I'm hoping I'm wrong with this one. I suspect that Tim and Stephanie are going to break up again which would suck because one of my most favorite moments during the final moments of the Batman: Detective Comics story-arc Batmen Eternal Tim and Stephanie after breaking up got back together. But now I'm starting to suspect that sometime before the upcoming Crisis event 5G something's going to happen cause Tim and Stephanie to break up again however since Dido and Bendis want to ruin Tim just keep him and Stephanie separated I mean if you want to ruin Tim go ahead and have him and his long-time girlfriend break-up for a 2nd time only this time keep the break-up permanent I mean you've already ruined Tim enough as it.

Its just because the name is The Drake and a drake is a duck, but I can't believe people aren't also making the dragon connection. Hell that would be where I'd have taken the costume design, giving him a more advanced version of his Red Robin wings and maybe some of the tech that Harvest supposedly had in the New 52.
