Im pretty sure the reason the Ocean story line isnt finish was because of a player named of Xx_H_P_xX spread rumors that theres a really difficult and unbalanced boss thats apparently bugged its way in from the Celestial story line

I recommend the "Rob a Bank" hardcore quest and "Going to Gym Nonstop" sidequest they are the most optimal pathway you can choose in your case

I wouldn’t have made my custom character so ugly if I knew that you can’t change it after you’re in the game... and the expansions to modify appearance are so expensive! They really need to add a free look-change or something

There's another glitch, where you just get so much of the in-game currency that it nullifies the "ugly" debuff. It'll still be there, but it will have no effect on the "acquire female" meta.
This feature's already in the game! Complete the "Plastic surgery" sidequest.
right?? you can change your outfits in game and customize some topical features like your hair n shit, but I randomly got the 'ugly' debuff and been angry about it ever since. Takes wayyyy too much money to disable the debuff ;/
It's super imbalanced, all builds are complete garbage if you don't have the "Rich Parents" perk, even the stupidest build with it is better than the best builds without it.

Actually your render distance gets set automatically due to your connection. The Devs haven't added a way to remove this issue, so some modders created the "glasses" mod to help with these issues. I wish the Devs would start patching parts of the game which actually require it.
Tushar Sundarka that wasn’t a mod it was a vanilla exploit like all the other so-called “mods”. The game’s code is notoriously difficult to understand, even harder to modify, though we have a small dedicated community trying to understand it.

It's just a trick by the devs. If your eyesight is too weak to render all in at once, the more distant buildings and locations are rendered with low resolution textures and fewer poligons. They get replaced by the real models with all the graphics as you get closer. I tried running real fast to see where the anti aliasing kicks in, but I never managed to reach it.

You know, i heard from somewhere someone saying there is a trick to get the best life difficulty, you need to commit suicide multiple time until you were born in a royal family or something by abusing rebirth system, i dont know if the rebirth system is real or not, i never heard the developer add that feature
But you can also just change the difficulty settings by yourself but It's a secret, you gotta learn it yourself.
@@ae9982 yea the glitch was discovered by that one guy in the Tibetan server. He even created his own clans of players who taught others about it too. Unfortunately, the Chinese admins took over the server so most of the old clan members had to seek refuge in the Indian server now
I've read in the legendary guide book that the sequal will be an updated version that will fix most of the unfair glitch/hacking problems.

You can also try the Excercise mechanic. They say doing it weekly will provide a stamina/power increase and it's "supposed" to boost up your appeal meter. Buuut nothing really boost that up like copious amounts of in game currency.

Brah it’s cuz ladies are forced to play hard mode and our avatars spend the whole time being convinced the incentive program is sooooo worth it or worse are forced into the parent side quest because a lot of people deluded themselves it was part of the rules to appease their patron deity. Plus no game is complete with out raiders I guess so ofc we got a bunch of npcs programed to raid bodies.

Well, here’s the thing. The game has been around a while, and all the lore is based off real player action :) and it’s all so hard to document 😬
Wish they would add a "save game" feature. I keep accidentally choosing the wrong dialogue and its ruining my play-through. Most NPCs attack me on sight, my +rep with the few factions I've managed to join has plummeted, and now I can't even complete the main quest. Not to mention there's no option to start over from the very beginning. Completely broken.

Real "easy" is just for those that have the Rich or Rich and Famous pack. You can earn it in the game but it's a shitload of work and brain burning (ask Elon).
Most of those that have a lucky bastards that began the game being spawned in a Clan that already has the pack.

The thing about this game is that really takes so long to level up just for the difficulty to increase harder
I figured if I never complete the "Find mate" main quest. I can just sorta' roam around forever and do repeat side quests.

Once this quest is completed, certain side quests will no longer be available.. I believe 'friends with benefits' , 'crazy cat lady' and 'mens best friend' are a few of those

Can someone please tell me how to load one of my previous saves? I didn't understand the mechanics at first, and now I realize I've made some grave errors in my build resulting in my character being largely ineffective and not very fun to play.
I don't want to roll a new character, because I rolled decent stats, with a high INT and got good rolls on some related talents. However, critically failing the "Get a degree" side quest has left me with the "Student Loan Debt" flag which is hard enough to clear when you actually succeed in the side quest, but it's almost impossible without the "Degree" quest item.
Sadly you can't. When you start playing that's the only character you play in and when you die you can't make a different account. I didn't realise this at first so I'm stuck with what I have :/ the game should be more specific with new players

About that, me and the other devs have tried many times to remove the "sleep mechanic" but, we'd always, find some sort of bug related to the removal of this mechanic, so we decided not to mess with it
@@ra6865 yes, exactly, and it's the only way we found to do so, any attempt to remove it, caused unexpected bugs and problems, so we decided not to
... it's actually a mechanic. all characters have an energy value which is slowly depleted. certain actions make it drain faster and some people managed to crack the sourcecode and find that light makes the energy value decrease slower. actions such as rest, eat and sleep make it refill. and sleep makes the bar fill to max, at the cost of fast forwarding time by 8 hours, give or take. other players can interrupt you or you can set an alarm but if 8 hours haven't passed doing so will regenerate less energy. another thing is that the game will play randomly generated cutscenes called "dreams" during your sleep, however some can be unpleasant and are called nightmares. also if dream you manages to find out he's in a dream you get to take control of the dream, this is often referred to as a "lucid dream". and one more thing to note is that (assuming you don't skip the cutscenes) these contain tips that can hint towards bad choices, underlying status effects or predictions, albeit in a cryptic manager.
@@exyzt9877 You know, I used to be able to access the Lucid Dream mechanic when my character was newer, however as I gained the Lots-of-Work and the Often-Stressed debuffs from the Education questline, I developed the No-Sleep-Routine debuff (or is it a bug?), and I lost the access to the Lucid Dream mechanic.
The weirdest thing about the Americas expansion is that the Viking guild discovered it hundreds of years before Columbus but just sort of ignored it
They lacked the right farming skills to get levels there.
They were payed by the devs to fix out the bugs and stuff when they were going to add it into the main world....of course the reason they ignored it was it was really really in the building stage so most of the dlc stuff wasn't added in yet...

"controlling an empire" really just means controlling every choke point, doesn't actually have to take that many people -- but that also means it can fall apart super fast

Just For Kicks I remember the “Science Fair” quests being the WORST. I always ended up speedrunning those last minute.

When I spawned everything looked blurry, after 4 years I figured out it wasn’t a game bug, just a debuff on my character. It sucks how much I gotta pay to play the game normally. 3/10.
I feel ya there, I almost failed the middle school quest cause my character needed a debuff, it kinda sucks that some characters are hindered like that when they spawn
@@noxlupa2996 the devs have been working on it for a while, I had to spent all my coins on glasses to get rid of the B L I N D debuff it’s quite triggering and I hope they add easier ways to get rid of these, it causes lots of players to end up lagging out of the game
That's how they earn money I guess, seeing as it is free to download. It's really sneaky though, my logic and time management stat was totally nerfed, made the School tutorial really difficult
I’d suggest you go for the system upgrade of “national healthcare” most servers have it but the USA server is pretty behind on updates. If you can’t get the admins to update I suggest you find a backdoor through volunteer groups or you may need to move servers
Yeah same, i was grinding knowledge and was quite good but they debuffed my character with "diabetes" unfair punishments for above average players
The Admins of the game said high-tier player Ep$tein251 deleted his account himself when there's a lot of evidence suggesting he was banned by a mod.

actually, there are many santas. 4 million to be correct, and they actually morph into the games while debuff. if you read the console commands you can see how santas source code is usually on the east wall of your house. the devs have a pretty stale and old way of implementing this type stuff.
I'm pretty sure he's an npc, considering he's only active one night a year during the Winter event, but it's possible he could be a very skilled player with timer and invisibility hacks.
Oh, yeah! If your player is generated in the Brazil region, he puts presents in your shoes. RNG can sure be fun.
This game sucks. It’s 40hrs a week of grinding/farming just to get enough food to keep your HP from running out and maybe enough leftover to buy some low-mid tier equipment. Then you get like 1-2 weeks tops of a fun side quest per year and the rest of the time is reading lore about amazing players doing awesome story missions that you never get to experience yourself

@@litchtheshinigami8936 The rumor is that it was on the west coast US server briefly, but players raided it like it was a boss and the storyline died before it could develop. The current replacement storyline is a much better puzzle with higher stakes.

Did the first humans just evolve already knowing what food is and what is considered edible? Like did they evolve and adapt knowing this food is good and that food is bad? Or how did they know hunger means you have to eat? What to eat though? How were they supposed to know they had to eat to not die from hunger?
I believe that the hunger mechanic was introduced in patch 0.6.9., or "multicellular sexy times dlc".. Players would progressively evolve over the versions into more complex forms, requiring more sophisticated energy sources. A lot of this evolution was mostly just trial and error, and the survival+reproduction of favourable random mutations that had better chances of progressing into the next stages in this game. Thousands of generations of experimentation in consumption of things honed the instinct to find certain energy sources more appetizing (efficient) than others, long before the homo sapien was unlocked as a playable character.

Well it was mostly trial and error... if you saw a player eat something and die, you knew it was The Bad Food, but it took a few sacrifices to figure out The Good Food.
As a developer of this game, we’d like to say, we gave Alexander “The Great” too much knowledge, that we had to burn the library. Oh and Napoleon69 was actually a bot that was accidentally loaded into the code and began messing up the Europe server. I think, we accidentally buffed these apes, a little too much.
This game has no story whatsoever feels like I am grinding all time without any purpose
Ehh, but it does have a story, a very compelling story, rather it has three major stories, and countless first person stories crafted by the players in the sandbox.
The first major plot point is that a consciousness adjusted the values of physical laws at the beginning of the universe to ensure intelligent life would come about.
The second plot point is that that consciousness was distributed throughout all matter during the big bang, meaning everything has a little of it, while sapient creatures have a lot of it. (Panpsychism)
The third plot point is that sapient life has very high value to the initial consciousness, which we haven't unlocked the lore for the reason, yet, even if many guilds propose their ideas.

But this game is actually a crazy try to make sandbox interesting.
If you play and pretend something was true, it’s actually true in this game, so every player not only decides his actions, but also many rules and mechanics of the game.
And bigger communities "magically“ produce their very own truths and story lines, but at the current state of the ingame world, most of these are actually optional.

annoying thing is that everyone has a different tutorial and if it was bugged, had glitches or was like a normal play through you will have to pay credits for your character to have equal stats, broken tutorial can of course level up you quicker but it will still affect mental helth bar and ptsd will affect your character uncontrollably in certain situations

Unfortunately, some people get the “low resolution” seed when spawning in. They have to purchase the “glasses” upgrade or compromise the enjoyability of the game.
Edit: Guys, you won't believe me, but they added something similar but for ears. How crazy is that?

Worst thing is that you will lose attractiveness points when using that item.
That’s why I bought the Contact-lenses DLC, but it requires a lot of concentration points to be mastered perfectly

Outside has been worked on for a while and is one of my favorite games, but I have some criticism.
- Spawning
It sucks that you can't even control where you spawn. Spawn in the best place, or the worst place. No control. It's also a pain to travel.
- Discrimination
Another big thing of where you spawn. No chat filter, no report! You cant escape it and it sucks.
- Chat filter
As I said, no chat filter. Anyone can just say anything and make fun of you with no filter. Smh.
- Death
This is inefficient because you're just living your best life and suddenly die! It can be sad and you have to wait for who knows how long to find another body.
- Travel
Travel SUCKS. There's no fast travel, just airplanes and shit. And those aren't even always affordable! When you need to travel but can't spend money you can either walk or drive, both extremely tiring.
- Direction
It doesn't guide you anywhere. Sometimes you just have to walk up to someone and ask them for directions. And sometimes they're homeless men trying to sell you drugs, or people giving you directions to the nearest knife shop, or they speak a different language.

I heard depending on what guild territory you start in the cutscenes are changed making those 18 tutorial years pointless
during some of the playable parts of that section i get randomly affect with the “dissociation” debuff. really lowers my charisma and dexterity stats during interaction and quicktime events :(

Ugh, I’m still stuck in the “school” tutorial level...
The tutorial level is either the best or worst part of Outside, because the tutorial level can vary depending where you randomly spawn, your parents and much more. For me it was mostly decent, with some good and bad moments sprinkled in.

@@evose1238 A pretty strong flaw is also that you need some stuff just for finishing the tutorial and never need it again.
And some stuff taught in the tutorial is simply wrong, but only few people learn about that in the advanced tutorial. But in most countries the advanced tutorial is also riddled with microtransactions and in addition to that you even have to pay for a subscription service!
Also for most people in the European and North America Servers the tutorial is amongst the times where you have most time for sidequests, while later many follow the mainquest to such an extent that they do barely sidequests. And the mainquest needs a lot of grinding in most cases.
Also the tutorial is rated and has a severe influence, but in most cases the admins decide wether that's the case and don't even tell it to the players!
And for a lot of people on the Asia, Africa and South American Server the tutorials aren't available at all!
That's what tutorials are for. To let you practice basic mechanics before the stakes are raised. Sometimes I think man.. If only life were school.

To gain loot from kills you have to find quests that pay you for kills. These quests can be found in the “Deep Web”, but beware it’s full of hackers and banned players there

@@antonberglund117 I think the devs already developed the patch but they wont implement it because most players are scared of the fact that they could modifiy there own code and mod themselfs. They say "we shouldnt play god". I have heared that players on the chinese servers already got the patch and are playing with the new DLC. I also heared that the player Elon Musk wants to create a new playable Catgirl Race. Probably only new players will get full access to it because of the current playerbase still wanting to play oldschool. But we could find a way to use it right now, since the chinese server has access to it

There is this missconception where ppl think the america expansion was added at the medieval times, but it was added in the land expansion (look at patchnotes) the problem was that the human expansion was added at the eatern world, so they didn't know the weastern zone, although there was this time gap where the devs noticed that no players were at the western area, so they temporally added a way to get there, but when they saw that not many ppl went, and the ones that went, evolved slowly, they closed the access.
Even thogh columbusguy12 informed the eastern servers about the dicovery, we know that there was this guy called Xx_cabral_xX who accidentally got to the brazilian zone, but left as he didn't rly care (also the new world quest didn't start because the devs didn't prepare it as they didn't think we would discover America so quickly after the "New comercial routes" quest started), this was during the "portuguese expansion" side quest, so we have enven more proof that the America expansion went out waaaay back in the updates, although the "New World" quest started when columbusguy12 because as i said, tehy realised that the european players would get there soon
this is exactly why I am more of an inside player myself
Don't get me started on how the economic and trading systems are completely broken, buggy disasters.
There are so many exploits that players abuse to all hell, its almost as bad as the TF2 aimbot fiasco.
Not to mention some players just seem to start out with negative or positive financial modifiers completely based off RNG, its BS.
It's not bugged, it's very exploitable and it's full of cheaters to the point that you have ti cheat yourself ti get something from it
