👍👍👍
Roti rice dal and home sabzis pl
Tysm for this!!! Indian foods are never mentioned in typical calorie videos. As an Indian, I really appreciate this video so that I know which of my cultural foods are better for weight loss.
I want to point out that calories in Maggie is slightly wrong here, Since you didn't consider the water weight,
Cook a 72g of raw maggie without any oil or butter,
when it's cooked, measure the weight of it, now that weight is total of 270Kcal,
and proportion it for 150Kcal.
Still very High for empty calories no debate here.
Yeah, even I was thinking that!
Honestly speaking, this is so helpful, it makes it easier to put things into prospective, rather than over eating it or not eating it at all. This is very helpful for desi people, eat it but eat less. Great jobs 👏
Omg just little maggi is so much calories
ص٠ضحض١
Yeah
noo bro.. raw i.e uncooked 35 gm maggi worth 150 cal.
its incorrect here
@@iiitallahabad9459 no check the label properly
@@namitha556 just weigh the packet, it's weighs around 72 gms. so yeah it is measured uncooked and after cooking it in water, the noodles absorb water so its weight increases. Hence we have to measure before cooking and not after cooking. Food label on maggi say one serving is 70gms and it says per serving is 272 calories, so yeah you can have half the cooked maggi packet and it's gonna be under 150calories. One more thing on food labels the calories are based on the food inside the packet how it is and not based on a particular situation "if cooked then", " If fried then", it's based on the food inside the packet as it is.
Can you do an updated version of this video? Or better yet provide a list/pdf of common Indian food items? It really would be so helpful!!
My favourite Indian food is Pav Bhaji, please add it in part 2
wow that's what i looking for! really helpful ! Thank you so much
Nice comparison, I will drink black tea instead of milk tea from today. Thanks to Healthifyme
Thats not how it works
@@pranshusahu8678 Why not? Black tea has significantly fewer calories than milk tea
Remove sugar or replace with sweetener like stevia to make it almost 0 calorie.
very good contain, really good for best health, thank you healthify for such good knowledge video,. request make 2000 calories video
Now i m badly realising how badly i was counting calories and assuming it without weighing 😮
Very informative
நன்றி 🙏🏾
Very useful
Thank you very much for this video

Thanks
The weigh scale do you sell it on amazon or somewhere else?
Why does it show different calories on the app and why doesn't calories on this video
Also in app 100gm gobi manchurian is 182 calories while it’s saying only 150 calories. Which is correct?
Where did you buy this kitchen scale
And 1.5 idli is 150 cal 🤣🤣 same as one deep fried samosa.... come on
please do the same video for 250 and 350 calories
2:24 ? Seriously
Can you please some videos for people working in night shifts?
It's diff when it's cooked at home, you can replace oil with ghee and dec the amount of sugar I tea. With very tittle to no sugar. Calories isn't everything . 47 gm fries will fo more harm than banana no matter its the same amount of calories.
ghee has almost 800 calories per 100 ml. How will it change things?
very nice video

On seeing these I can confirm my view on why calorie counting alone is not a good option… the idli and the puri are similar in terms of size … but I think the way they interact with my body are way different
The maggi thing isn't right..Raw maggi of 35 grams is a 150 calories.
still it's very high
It’s saying 1 samosa is 150 calories while in the app it’s saying almost 350 calories… which one is correct???
wow
I guess all natural stuff is low and calorie then we cook it to make it unhealthy 😂
Btw, great work... love from Pakistan 🇵🇰
Black tea with sugar or without sugar
What about coffee with full cream milk
Is the one for Idli correct? I thought a single idli contains 40-50 calories.
I thought it contains 30 calories 🥲
It does. Their math ain't mathing
@@Charlizard12it doesn't. Indians fry their idli after stea
Idli nearly has 50% rice so yeah it is bound to be carb rich but that was a big ass idli so normally about 3 normal sized idli is about 130 to 150 cal which is perfectly fine, yiu can go upto 500 cals for a meal if you are loosing weight or you can go upto 750 cals if you do some physical work.
I bet he/she ate that piece of chips that taken away
Exactly my thoughts.😊
is black tea with sugar or without
Maybe with, because without sugar it would basically have 0 calories
brother, what you scooped was not ice cream but a frozen desert, please read labels!
maggi part made me sad😭but thats ok✨all that matters is to be healthy!!
Calories of jawar bhakri big size and one maharashtrian chapati..pls add.let we know..
so you can enjoy all your tasty food without dieting if you just eat everything in moderation!
Idly calorie is not correct. In ur app it shows less but in video it is high
Your app has totally different calories than what you showed here!! And how do you actually calculate calories? What's the science behind it and how do we know you are right?
Hey! Our food database is built on USDA and NIN (National Institute of Nutrition). All the recipes in our database have been developed by senior nutritionists of the country. To know more, please reach out to us at support@heathfiyme.com.
Exactly
You can either follow it or you can do it yourself, It's not hard to calculate calories from the ground up,
For example to calculate calories in a paratha,
You need Calories in Wheat Flour,
You need calories in Ghee,
Now make a paratha out of it and do the maths,
it's is not hard to do.
Now repeat the same steps on every food you eat,
Or just use multiple sources and use an average number.
Simple as that.
Most figures here are wrong - either too high or too low. Better to calculate them yourself for foods you eat 95% of the time.
howto do that?
1 and Half Idli
Small pack of Cheetos (Cheese)
1 Mendu Vada
1 Poori
Half Vada pav
5 pani puri
Thumbs-up of Rs. 20
2 Vanilla cup
1 Samosa
Manchurian Gobi 1 Small Katori
1 cutting chai
Half tandoori Butter Roti
Paneer butter masala and butter Chicken 1 small katori
1 piece of Grill Sandwich
1 Fork bite of Maggie
2 cup of Black Tea
1 Small pack of Potato chips
1 big banana
2 Medium Guava
Half pack of Small MC.d French fries
1 Apple
1 slice of Veg Cheese burst pizza
1 Bowl of Popcorn
Half Egg Omelette
Why only restaurant food? Most of us eat home cooked food Isn’t it?
Maggie sirf 35grms 😒
Chips 27 grms 😫
The maggi part was so depressing
Did you know vattayappam how many g of vattayappam can I eat
It's wrong... Ho one deep fried samosa can have low calorie...
You showed 55 gm of samosa contains 150 cal.. How......?
1 gm of protein and carb contains 4 cal... And 1 gm of fat is 9 cal... If I imagine this then 55 gm multiplying by 4 =210 cal... And it contains lots if fat... So o can guess one 55 gm of samosa would be of 270 calories...
Idli felt little off. Rest looked fine
Poha didnt make the cut?
Calories in apple doest mstch
The calories vary depending on the measurements of the fruit.
I'm sorry to say but according to Google and many other trusted websites and health professionals an apple (medium size) is about 50-60 cals . Therefore I don't think so 1 and half apple will be 150 cals . 3 apples might be but this one is just wrong
I didn't understand the concept dears it is all 150 calories which you have put in grams
So that viewers know the weight as some people weighing their food before eating
Well that doesn't look like 15kgs of black tea to me
I thought 1 apple was 50-60 calories. She said 1 and 1/4 apple is 150 calories?
Hi! 1 small apple (150 grams) is about 88 calories. The calories of a fruit depends on its size. :)
@@HealthifyMe true 👍🏽
50-60 probably for very small apples. Fruits these days are quite big so actual apples sold in grocery stores have a lot more calories. It's very important to weigh out fruits before eating them
100 grams has 52 calorie in it
If 1 apple is 150 cal and 1 slice of pizza is also the same, isn’t it better to eat the pizza as a snack😂
i had an heart attack seeing tea calories 😓😨
Use unsweetened almond milk and sugar-free sweetener, that will reduce the calories significantly
I don’t understand abt milk tea and black tea mentioned
I think for milk tea the calories are higher because it had milk and sugar added to it which adds a lot of calories
Black tea ??😮
That is definitely not 15 kg of Black tea!!
To ap kya batana chahte h deit m ue sb kuch kha sakte h
Yes but watch the quantity
Nooooo 😂😂😂 U cannot just see calories , you cannot eat bread bun cold drinks ! You should also see if the product your eating contains sugar , fat, oil, salt to avoid ruining the diet along with calories 😀
Yes of course you can eat everything thing during dieting but remember the quantity and once or twice is ok for junk but in moderation
என்னதான் சாப்பிடுவது. எப்படி சாப்பிடுவது தெரியல
Next 250
Therefore my weight is not increasing 🗿
One can eat anything, just have to focus on the quantity??????

Ya if you just want to loose weight
Yeah weight loss depends only on calories
Mai wk cup chai k liye din mai wk baar ground see 11th floor chadti once
Ek tea with milk lene ko koi problem nahi hai... Milk badhiya hota hai body ke liye... Daily mera 150ml milk hai.. I mean tea Mein
This is weight or calories 🙂
That many grams of that food is 150 calories
Hell Nah, my maggie.
Omg it's just golgappe 🤐
The black tea part was the only time throughout the video where I smiled.. And then I saw that it was without sugar 🙄
Avoid maggi, chips and French fries
So much calories in maggi...
No ye inhone uncooked ku calories batai h wo cooked thi
Yeah it's just depressing
Noodles........
are u kidding me with maggi?
incorrect info
Please convert the drinks into ML
How much pegs would that whiskey be?
परॉब्लेम्स
1 gm = 1 ml, so here 54 gm = 54 ml (ie. 1 peg of 60ml )
how many calories should be eaten every day to lose weight?
It's totally up to you, your gender, height, activity level & weight & Normally an adult need 1600 to 2000 calories a day.if you wanna lose weight you better be eating within 1200 calories a day to see satisfactory results
1200? You need to cut out 500 calories for a sustainable way
people here giving you crap advice which will make you yo yo in no time. Best advice i can give you is to do strength training around 4 times a week and increase your protein intake. Then you don't have to starve, you can eat a lot and still have a fit physique. Most importantly, you will actually enjoy living.
this is inacurate by alot . please dont use this as a meausure people
👎👎
This just shows why indian diet sucks
Surprisingly, it still sucks less than you 🙂
Imo it's a lot better than the American diet
