Emily's excitment at 7:30 explaining the combo sequence was infectious, it makes you feel what we do at the table that the engine we built is working and doing fun things and that is what we want games to deliver and those can be games that stay in a collection. Gotta play this to see it for myself.
I saw this in CMON Thailand last week, and was thinking to grab it but i didn't because of the game length. After watching your video now I think I will love this and will buy it. Thanks for the concise and short overview and review. I love the part you talk about player interaction too. Not many game reviewers mention it. Many games these days are multiplayer solitaire.
Thanks for sharing that comment. That is very much what we try to do with many of our videos - focus in on the key points that we think players will want to know/understand, without getting too "into the weeds".
@@meeple keep up the great work! I do enjoy understanding what the main flow of each turn looks like, and what factors you are thinking about in your decision making on each turn, and again think you guys nailed it on this one!
15:05 Curious if the game has extra cubes or something for keeping track of bonuses taken. I can see many players have 5 bonuses to use, they start some, then go off on a tanget and then can't remember if they actived their other two bonuses; or even worse, start a sequence to then undo it and try it a different way.
Thanks for this review. I was concerned about time before, but 5 hours for 3 players or even 2 plus hours at 2 is a group killer for us. Id much rather play Hegemony. I really love the art and mechanics presented here, but much like endless winter, I can’t justify what feels like “cell phone” off turns. Hoping that Civiolution or SETI will fill my need for super crunchy games this year with less down time. Can’t wait for hands on for those games.

Right?! We love it when games make us feel that way, and don't mind showing it. 😁

HI, can we expect the Man vs Meeple group to do a top 50 or 100 boardgames of all time this year?
You guys did a great job conveying the main mechanics and what it *feels* like to play the game -- the most important part I think!

Great video, will need to check this one out.
Looks like a good one. Great review.
As someone who loves Crystal Palace, the dice placement looks really interesting! 🙂
Oh, does Crystal Palace have a similar mechanism?
I demand the extended Directors Cut!
It’s out there! Just head to our discord for the link. It’s “unlisted” so won’t show up otherwise.
@@meeple Watched and loved it!
what if you added prime to minos?
I'm assuming this is not a reference to Amazon Prime. 😄
@@meeple yeah, it's just a silly little reference to an fps shooter game called ultrakill
If Coimbra and Signorie had a baby. Thumbs up if you get the reference 😁
