CORRECTIONS: 20:31 - During the first two rounds you can only draw from the 2nd Era (red) deck when explicitly told to. Standard Prepare actions only allow drawing from the offer or the current deck on the board.
Boy do I want to see how this game played out. I'd love to see you and your friends play a game of this, Jon. Thanks for this introduction to a fascinating game!
20:30 I'm pretty sure you _cannot_ use prepare actions to draw off of the top of the second era deck, otherwise what would be the point of being able to draw one from the first prepare action? Many rules don't make any sense if you can do that? Edit: Actually coming back to this comment later you have a correction to this effect already at 56:04 ! You probably want to move that back as well? It's possible also that the rules are still in flux. An interesting game all told. I'm torn, because I dislike dice drafting but I _do_ like everything else about this game. Reminds a lot of Boonlake, but with the parts of Boonlake I didn't like removed. Also I am always a fan of civ building games, and I like that there's not pvp warfare in this one because I'm not a fan of that at all. Lots to like here, I will look forward to trying it out at Essen. Thanks for the video!
The rules aren't in flux, I just made a mistake at 20:30. Truth be told, I flubbed the prepare action rule many times and thought I'd fixed them all before publishing the video, looks like one error squeaked through though. I added a Klingon correction at 20:30 to explain the correct rule.
massive point salad game...i like it except for the strange dice bumping mechanic..i think its not needed and feels like it was put in because there is no direct conflict in the rest of the game

Paul grogan has a full playthrough on gaming rules channel. I watched that and enjoyed watching this and rahdo too
This game looks incredibly up my alley. Sadly i worry it might be a little too heavy for most of my gaming friends locally.
Looks very fun, thanks for your video
Great Tutorial. (Again 😊). Thanks
Good job. Thank you!

the dice drafting and bumping reminds me of Coimbra
I wonder why they chose the mask of Agamemnon for the first player marker. Surely that's Mycenaean?
This is completely language independet right?
I believe so.

also its one of the few games where u dont want to go first....
Why? You will choose first the highest value die…
@@mizio66 you get bumped from the best action if someone goes there...
@@georgeresso6835still you will play first and more chance to get 9s
