Classical singing typically has you lowering your larynx (except when needing to access your very lowest tones, or highest is you’re a female voice type) which lengthens the resonance tube (glottis to lips) and makes you sound much larger than we’re used to from popular music. It pretty much makes your throat the same length as someone who’s 3 meters tall (just under 10 feet)
